Bharti Airtel Limited — Misrepresentation of Internet pack by Airtel_[protected]

Dear Team,

This is to convey you that becoz of your misrepresentation lots of people are being forcefully charged & i am one of them.

I have requested for your GPRS-98 pack via *567# on 18/02/11 & after that i have received a call from your executive on 19/02/11 that my internet has been activated. For activation i have requested internet settings via SMS MO to 543210 on 19/02/11. After that i have started using internet on my mobile. I was freely using my internet as it was known to me that i have 2GB to be used free of cost under GPRS-98 pack.

I was shocked to check my mobile bill that was received on my mail on 07/03/11 as the bill (Rs. 5487.21) was much-much more as per my expectation. I called customer care & complained the same vide complaint no.[protected]. After that i received a call from your executive on 10/03/11 stating that charges levied are correct & when i asked for the clarification then your executive stated that you have used your internet connection via Airtel live.

I want to clear that i have used my internet connection via selecting Mobile office & not Airtel live (If Airtel live is picked by default how could i get to know about the same), Moreover you have not mentioned anywhere on your Airtel site (www.airtel.in) that under GPRS-98 pack user are not authorize to use Airtel live, neither your executives while making activation call to customers state that this 2GB download is not applicable on Airtel live.

Also credit limit on my mobile no.-[protected] is Rs.1200/- & if my bill was exceeding this limit at any point of time why my services was not barred / not informed me about the same.my used bill amount Rs.172/-

I am customer of Airtel and I have Airtel Postpaid connection. Airtel GPRS charge airtel live

When I tried to explained my situation in airtel nodal officer & customer care they are saying you were using airtel live settings.

I want to clear that i have used my internet connection via selecting Mobile office & not Airtel live (If Airtel live is picked by default how could i get to know about the same), I didn’t know the difference between Airtel live & Airtel gprs. Customer care didn’t aware me that airtel live is not discounted in GPRS-98 pack. Moreover Airtel not mentioned anywhere on Airtel site (www.airtel.in) that under GPRS-98 pack user are not authorize to use Airtel live, neither Airtel executives while making activation call to customers state that this 2GB download is not applicable on Airtel live.
