[Resolved]  BSNL — Landline not repaired even after 4 weeks. Unable to make out going and receive in coming calls.

I've got a land line connection in the following number[protected] and I am currently residing in Chevayur (7 kms from Kozhikode town). The phone connection (Land Line) was not working from 05/06/2010. I’m unable to make out going calls or receive in coming calls. There was a slight humming voice, when you listened to the receiver. I gave a complaint on 07/06/2010 and the next day (08/09/2010) a technician came and checked the issue. He was unable to resolve the problem as it was an issue with the cable (That's what he claimed). The technician promised to come back the next day to resolve the issue. After waiting for couple of days as the technicians were not forth coming, I gave a written complaint to the officer in charge at Chevayur Telephone Exchange on 09/06/2010. As the issue was still unresolved, I again went and talked to an Engineer on 15/06/2010, who promised a resolution within the next two days. After waiting for a week I gave a second written complaint on 22/06/2010 and the officer in charge again promised a resolution in the next two days. Still seeing no improvement, I again went to the Chevayur Telephone Exchange and talked to another Engineer on 29/06/2010 who by now gave the default answer of resolving the issue in the next two days. Today the date is 03/07/2010 and now its 28 days since the issue had started and still it is not resolved. After 08/06/2010 I have not seen any action from BSNL towards resolving the issue I'm living in the vicinity of Chevayur Telephone Exchange (Within 500 mts), so it's not a big deal to come to my home. The service rendered by BSNL is absolutely pathetic. What sort of reputation will a company have that cannot resolve the customer's complaint in four weeks? I would sincerely like to get my issue resolved without any further delay.

i am complianting from malur [t] karanataka.
your phone is not working from 45 days, but we booked complianted in near exchange, but thier is no response from them.

last weak already complaind the same but still not fix the problem, my consumer no. is 70119464 . this is in trichur, under ollur exc:, we canot call out side, tech came to attend the complaint on julay but still the same problem exist, pls do the needfull action urgent basis,

BSNL / Landline — Line Not Repaired

I have complaint BSNL many times regarding repairing the telephone connection, as myself reached at my tele-phone exchange many times. Also, The latest complaint number is: 45754 14/Nov/2008.

Idea — unable to make out call for last one month

I am an idea customer. my mobile no. is [protected]. my problem is that i m unable to make out call for last one month. At present i am in Kerela (Ernakulam). I have contacted idea customer care cell many times also i have sent e-mail but my problem could not resolve yet. Idea people even dint reply my e-mail. I tried to contact nodle officer but he/she is not picking up the phone. Till now i had spent around Rs. 200/- for contacting the customer care cell. Pls advise me that wat should i do.

BSNL — BSNL DID NOT TAKE ANY ACTION EVEN AFTER COMPLETING 5 TIMES IN TWO WEEKS

I, Akkireddy consumer of bsnl broad band for the past 18 months. there is a problem with my broad band connection for the past two weeeks. I have given complaint regarding my broad band problem 5 times in two weeks; but there is no action has been taken so far. I registred my first complaint on 26 july 2010 at bsnl office in sector-04,panchkula. please solve my problem as soon as possible.

BSNL — DO NOT REPAIR ON REQUEST

Actually We have a B.S.N.L. Landline No. - 2548125 operate in Saheed Nagar A/304. Last 8 to 10 days it won't work. First i have booked a complain in 197 after 2-3 days i have physically been to the office for complain which is just 2 plots apart from our office. But now already 8-10 days gone they say me today it will be done tomorrow it will be done. like this...... If in prime loacation i suffer this much than what about in rural area and other area. Our company loss a lots of money for this dead of No. and also fame. Who will take responsible of this. One of S.D.O. Mr Rajendra Mahapatra sitting in Saheed Nagar Office he will also like others i have already say him more than 2-3 times but he is not responding to me. If anybody not lookafter me then i will take a case against B.S.N.L.

my name is murali and i have been availing the services of bsnl broadband for the past about seven years. (the broadband connection is provided on the land line number[protected]. and this connection is in the name of smt.u.k.leela, my mother).
now let me invite your kind attention to the following.
on 14th of this month, someone had called on our land line number and introduced himself as one of the executives from bsnl and offered certain services which are being provided by bsnl (actually by bsnl.hungama.com). the call was attended by my mother and she told him she knew nothing about these things and that her son, i.e. me, is using the broadband services. she asked him to talk to me but he said it was ok and persuaded her to give him one email id and mobile number and my mother had given him her cell number and the email id of my son who was at home then. after some time she got two sms from bsnl.hungama.com informing us that two of their services viz.MOD and Platinum Movies Services have been activated.

on hearing this i had contacted them on their toll free number[protected] and asked them to deactivate the said services but i was told that they could not do that right away and they even suggested that i should avail these services at least for one month since i have to pay one month's rent (i.e. Rs.149/- each) any way whether i avail these services or not.
so i contacted them through their email id on 15.12.2012 and explained everything and requested them to deactivate these services at once but no confirmation came and i sent them a reminder on 17.12.2012. still no response and i sent them one more message today which reads as under:
"

please refer to my complaint dated 15.12.2012 and the reminder sent on 17.12.2012 and i haven't received any response/confirmation yet.

i once again request you to deactivate the services viz. MOD and Platinum Movies Services with immediate effect."


it may please be noted that i have neither used the said services nor have i logged in to their site using their password.


considering the above i request you to kindly look into the matter and do the needful.

My landline number/Broadband No. [protected] is not working properly for over one month. Complaint was registered and several calls were made to both the central as well as local exchange. Nothing is done to rectify the problem. Status of complaint is shown as "in progress". However, amazingly BSNL is very efficient in sending bills on time. When calls are made to the exchange they get agitated and doesn't seem to care. i wonder why we all still stick to BSNL when we do have much better, efficient and cheaper options at our disposal. May be only because this is a state owned enterprise.
Can BSNL do something to rectify this problem or let me know whether it is worth waiting indefinitely and keep paying for services not rendered. Please help.
