I don't agree with what u r saying...I have won 3 auctions so far and received it within 7 working days...I am ready to provide all the details you may want...I think BuyAlmost is the most honest auction site, though I will agree that it takes a lot of patience before you win...!!
i think u r also from buyalmost website only i think u r member of buyalmost.com...see this person...system created user won prize...hahahaha...buyalmost.com told me we will give u refund but after reading this complaint by buyalmost.com they sent me mail abt this and thay decided to dont give any refund to me...see this is buyalmost.com... be carefull friends...
buyalmost.com is a website with owners. These people are just lie bid20.com. Dont ever waste your money even a single rupee on these people. You will always repent. Lets teach these website owners a lesson that people cannot be fooled easily.

I think before making any comment about anyone, we should learn to appreciate people who are in the business and are serious. I have personally won some auctions on the site and I know that they are professional people unlike the other auction sites. I have had a very positive experience with buyalmost. Kudos to the idea owner !!

if you WIN - the website will be called Legit by everyone.

ya you are right i too watching the site closely for sometime now. some times two or three products are been bid by same person (same name) i even checked that it is bib buddy or single bid and it is single bid only so i dont know how anyone could bid two products in the exact same time, i mean not even with a fraction of second difference. so better be careful, they might give the auction product because they are earning a lot in this so it wont be a problem for them. never use bib buddy, if you check only when a user used bid buddy the auction goes longer, so i think they know till that you are going to play to get the product and you can drag lots of money from other bidders in that time.
buyalmost.com is a professional money making bid site. Special Caution to new users!! Never invest in the buyalmost.com site before you watch it at least for a month. Their buyalmost.com bid system is system is very unstable. Most of the time they suffer from what they themselves call "INTERNET LAG" time. It simply means what ever you do, you can never be the last bidder (Especially on the high value items costing more than Rs.10, 000/-). What happens is you wait till the last 5 or 3 seconds to bid and then your bid never registers. The solution buyalmost.com offers is to use bidbuddy (where the system automatically bids on your behalf.) But this is only a money making technique used by buyalmost.com. In this way you loose all your bids at one go. Not only that, when you use bid buddy certain users seem to be able to outbid you even at 2 or 1 seconds!! And mostly the users able to do this are the same. Maybe system generated users working on behalf of Buyalmost.com. Sometimes even after your bid timer reaches 00.00.00 and shows "Ended" these users are able to bid and win.
TO SUMMARIZE: Please do watch at least some auctions till the end (Especially products costing more than Rs.10, 000/-) before you decide to bid on buyalmost.com. I have documented examples for lots of errors in buyalmost.com. I am also in the process of further monitoring and recording the auctions at buyalmost.com and am willing to share it with other users who have fallen prey to buyalmost.com errors and lost money.

I have spent 15000 Rs and I have not won anything. Please advise people to stay away from this. They have system created users...the user names are nik_sharma_1, roshan.varma, Sinhali, and many more. Beware of this site.

I have identified at least two users which have won using unfair means.
The users are:

How did I find out?
1 On 30th of May 2010, I was bidding for the product Apple iPhone 3Gs 16 GB GSM Handset(Auction ID: 1582). After 5000 bids were placed, the user roshan.varma bid for once at last. Then, when 5 seconds were left, I tried to bid but i was not able to. I tried at least 3 times but in vain. Finally the bid ended as roshan.varma winner.
2: On and 31st of May 2010, i was bidding for the same product(Auction ID: 1597). Under a very similar circumstances, when around 5000 bids were done, the user Sinhali placed a bid at last. Then I tried to bid and clicked the bid button 6 times. But the bidding was not accepted and hence ended Sinhali as the winner.
How will you explain this system behavior? I want a very clear clarification on this and the identity of these bidders.

In order to avoid a situation where a user accidently bids more than once successively, hence wasting his precious bids, BuyAlmost has a unique safety feature that does not allow the user to place successive bids to out bid himself.
Occasionally, our users tell us that even though they bid before the countdown ended, their bids did not get placed and the auction ended. In these instances, the most likely explanation is the so-called "Internet lag times". These are time-delays in the transfer of data between your PC and our servers. Mostly those delays (lags) occur because single parts of the internet connection are overloaded.
This, unfortunately, is a general problem with the internet.
There are a few ways of helping minimize this problem:
* While bidding on BuyAlmost do not download large data such as video or audio files from the internet.
* Don't send emails with large attachments while bidding on BuyAlmost.
* Make sure that no other users such as family members, etc. are using the internet while you are bidding.
We're very sorry if your bid wasn't registered by the BuyAlmost servers in time. To be absolutely certain that you avoid the problem of "Internet lag times" don't leave your bidding until the last second, or use the BidBuddy to place your bids.

If you are blaming to the internet for everything then its fine. But will you explain the behavior if the particular user described below:
The user nik_sharma_1 has won two auctions namely Auction ID: 1611(Nokia E63 GSM Handset) and Auction ID: 1602(Philips Portable DVD Player PET717) on 30th May, 2010.
As according to your rule, a user can win only two auctions in a weeks time. And if he/she wins another one it will be canceled.
Now the question is in spite of knowing this fact, why this user was aggressively bidding on theses two products Auction ID: 1614(Nokia 5800 GSM Handset) and Auction ID: 1597(Apple iPhone 3Gs 16 GB GSM Handset) after already winning 2 auctions.
I require you to publish the physical identity of nik_sharma_1. No arguments can be acceptable for this.
I know you will answer the following:
He/She dosen't know that only 2 auctions are allowed to be won per week.
This argument will be invalid, because after winning an auction you will require users to accept it and you send minimum 3 emails to the users to do so. In the emails you send, it is clearly mentioned that only 2 auctions are allowed to be won in a week's period. Moreover, this is clearly stated in your terms and conditions also.
So why will someone waste so much of bids(a bid costs around Rs 20 on an average) if at all he/she had bought the bids with ones hard earned money.
I need the identities of all the users mentioned in this and the previous mail. Otherwise I want a full refund of the amount I have spent in BUYALMOST.COM
FYI: I have a 512KBPS internet and I am the only user.

Buyalmost website is a fraud website and they are just makking money by cheating people. Please ban this website and arrest the promoters of this company. So many peple have suffered by this. I almost lost 15000/- for this fraud website. Please dont ever waste your valuable money in this. Buyalmost has designed and promoted by some rascals / criminals and they looted hard earned money of general public. They deserve only capital punishments . Myself and so many of my friends lost money thru their fraud bidding process. I may request the police authority to put these criminals behind bars and give them maximum punishment
