hello sir i have purchase dell laptop vostro 1014 his service tag no.36XXBN1 and express service code [protected], laptop bottom base has broke in one side. . i want to purchase extra warranty (warranty extension). i talk before 1 month in anoop bhargav, he know that laptop bottom base has broke and he said the warranty charge is 3900 rs and at this time i talk dell customer care he say the warranty charge 9000rs approx because your bottom base is broke. i have a one mail to anoop bhargav he writes in this mail the warranty charge is 3900rs. so i want to purchase extra warranty in 3900 rs pls help me

Dell Laptop — Warrant Extension

Dear Sir,

I paid Rs 5360 for my Dell Laptop warrenty extension and got below mail for my payments.

" This is to inform you that the payment of Rs. 5360/- has been received for 1yr next business day warranty where the quotation# INSO3656796.Date:May 27, 2010 at 6:53 PM"


Till now my warrenty is not extended .Sir Please let me know further procedure for action.

I am posting this complient from Sree Sakthi Paper Mill .Ltd Edayar, I am the IT Admin of this company .We have a Dell Laptop which had brought reacentaly it had also not completed the warrenty period . My laptop had a problem that its touch pad is not senceing properly, so it is inconvinent to use . I need the onsite service to resolve this problem .

      I had bought your dell Inspiron 1464 and i am facing many problems from the very first day and my laptop is still not replaced.
      It gets heated after using it for 30 minutes and after some days Operating System stop working then i have to install new Windows.
      I am in a big problem with my laptop.
      I have contacted to your customer care but they are not been able to solve my problem.
      I request you to consider my problem.

      Greetings from Dell,

      Regret to hear about this issue with your Dell System. Let us help you to resolve the problem.

      As per your post, the primary issue is with overheating. Overheating is generally caused when the vents are choked with lint or dust. The system can also overheat incase it is used on a soft surface where the vents get blocked. Please try cleaning your vents with a soft brush or try blowing out the dust from the fan.

      In certain cases, a bios update may be required for regulating the system fan speed. Please visit our website www.support.dell.com and find the bios update for your PC by entering your service tag.
      You may check the BIOS version by pressing F2 at Dell logo. It is also possible to run a self-diagnostic on the system to check for any hardware issues. This can be done by the diagnostic test which is accessed by pressing F12 at Dell logo. If a hardware failure is found, an error code will be returned. This will also help in further identifying the source of the failure.

        Please don't order from Dell online as they are cheating and taking the money and then call back and say we are sorry we have not received the payment from you, Instead of 89,000 INR. This is just Cheating and Fraud.

        Everyone knows that Dell is the Multi National Company but they forgot that the cheating is cheating whether the company is Multi-National or Whatever

        Don't worry dell, i will let you know that who we are and how to make us fool

          Hi,
          I purchased dell laptop (model no- inspiron 15R N5010) last year and was having 1 year warranty.
          from the beginning we had some issue with laptop that it was used to restart automatically. whenever we contacted customer care they diagnosed and resolved well with comment that it may be due to improper installation of some software. Now last month warranty period is completed and after that we called them to treat some issue with game installation, they said laptop is having an issue with motherboard and require replacement. Either we should go with new motherboard at cost of 11000 inr or take new warranty period for another 1 year at cost of 4000 inr so they will look into that issue as part of warranty.
          Now I am surprised that my most of the friend is having dell laptop and they did not get such issue with laptop .why I became the victim of this issue, I believe that to purchase new warranty card they are are saying like this.
          I am very much disappointed with dell product, and I will not recommend anyone to purchase any dell laptop, it used to generate too much heat in few minutes as well.
          Please suggest me on this.

            As per the details, system shuts down within 10 min.

            Please try below steps in order to isolate the point of failure.

            Keep system in BIOS and check for the issue.

            If it did not shuts down within 30 min then try to update the latest BIOS from Dell.co.in/support. It can resolve your issue.

            However, in case it shuts down in BIOS then it might be a hardware issue and requires Dell assistance.

            To assist you further on hardware issue, please help me with service tag and contact no.

              I regret to hear about accident with the dell PC. We are here to help you.
              Let us attempt to understand the problem further, Please turn on the system and tap F2, which will take you to BIOS screen. Is the problem noticed in the BIOS screen?
              If in case the same problem is not noticed then the problem is most likely not hardware related and installing the chipset and video driver will resolve your issue : http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/in/en/inbsd1 (Please select the operating system which is currently installed on your computer)

              If problem is the same as in windows then I would recommend that we test the system with an external monitor (Like desktop monitor or LCD).
              Please reply to this post with your findings and we can easily take this issue to a closure.

                jaipur service centre ENGINEER Mr Ashok told me repair or replacement take 2 months time
                I went JAIPUR CENTRE From My City Bikaner I have Paid Rs 1000/- Convience Charge Only to Submitting Dell Mobile to Service Centre
                Today When I ask the status to Dell Service Centre they told me DELL Discontinue Dell Mobile so we don't know how much time it will take your mobile for Replacement
                I am totally Helpless What I am said about Dell Services to My Customer When they brought Dell Product from My Shop

                  i had given my laptop n 4010 for repair where my warranty was over so i paid money for the same by raising an dd which was again a trouble i have to roam around many banks to get it done near by service centre.anyway they told me that it will be given after three days but after eight days i had called their land line no [protected] no body responded. in frustration i went in DSC where they again told me to wait for an hour,they gave the laptop but after two days when i opened my laptop and started it it started blinking and saying that your battery needs replacement this was ridiculous that in one year such a branded laptop company battery drained. i went again then the service centre people said it got over with 300 cycles.
                  i said god this is really horrible to buy a DELL next time which i had updated in FB to all my friends please do not buy DELL.

                  I got a dell xps m1330 for christmas 2008 and straight away there were problems with the fan, then one thing led to another and i was eventually left 10 months down the line with my laptop being fixed for at-least half of that time. When it was sent away they either fitted faulty parts or did nothing or just ran scans where nothing was found. It has three screens, three keyboards, speaker cover + touch buttons X4, three replacement covers for the back of the screen and the silver around the screen, 6 motherboards X2 palm rests with fingerprint reader and X3 fans. They then said they would sent a new replacement even though they had stopped making it. Bt every time the dead line came up for it to be delivered the time went back 2 weeks and this happened many times. Eventually after days on the phone the manager agreed to give a full refund, but the next day he called back and said i could not. As i am only 15 my mother made all the phone calls and after the 10 months all the phone calls and the stress made her very unwell. She then threatened them and said that she wold contact the Watchdog program to tell them about the last 10 months but they still did not give a refund!!!!!

                  I now have a macbook which is fantastic but case £750 which i had to pay myself with NO REFUND!!!

                  Please Please do not ever buy a Dell laptop as it will ruin your life and leave you with no money.

                  It cost Dell over £7,000 to fix my laptop after the 10 months.
                  dont take dell warranty.it is useless.I purchased my dell laptop on 15 july 2010 and i got a 1 year accidental damage warranty.I had got a windows 7 original with it.However they didnt provide me the CD of windows 7 even though i bought a original one.now when i want to format my laptop, i cant. i called them up,they said you will have to buy it.I said its under warranty period and also i had bought a original windows.they said they cant do anything.now my video card is also not working.they are saying that i have only hardware warranty and for software prob. they cant sent their representative to my place.they said they will charge 1300 for it even though it is under warranty period.never buy dell laptop.their warranty is fake.

                    I purchase a dell studio laptop from shop namely ''IT SOLUTION'' Swasti Bazar, Agartala, Tripura(W) on dt[protected], With 1yr warranty. Three (3)month ago the laptop's display is not working. Then i submit the Laptop there for repair (Before Warranty date expir). But now two (2) months already gone, I yet not recive my laptop in my hand.

                    Dell Studio Laptop — product under warranty period but service not provided

                    I had purchased dell studio 15 laptop 2 months back and whn i was playing the dvd there was a very dim negligible voice and when i contacted the dell customr support by phone they told me several instructions but insipite of that it is not working properly and i have emailed the company regarding this and asked me to provide onsite support but they are not giving any reply...

                    Dell Studio Laptop — Worst Customer Service of Dell

                    I bought my Dell Studio Laptop (service tag 19TY2BS) on 29 March 09 from Dell Showroom in Noida, UP, India, I was told that the 15 month of McAfee Licence is included in the purchase but the licence has expired just in 30 days.

                    Despite repeated reminders to the dealers on email and phone calls in last 2 months, the dealer has not resolved the issue. Everytime the dealer promises that they will provide us the license by next day but no action is taken. For last one month the dealer started promising that he will send the licensed version of McAfee CD by courier but it has not been sent yet.

                    My wife and I have made repeated calls but the dealer is absolutely indifferent to the the stress it is causing to us. Please see the extract from my phone bill where you can see how many calls have been made to the Noida Dell Showroom to talk to the people at Dell Showroom numbers ([protected] and [protected]). Two people that we have spoken to repeatedly in the Showroom are Rajat and Deepak. Both keep promising that they will resolve our McAfee issue and call us back but they have not done anything in last 2 months except giving some or the other excuse everytime we called them.

                    Graphics Card Problem in Inspiron 15r 5537

                    I've inspiron 15r 5537 and I've installed graphics driver but still it's not Showing my graphic card in Device manager.

                    I'm complaining about the horizontal lines on the screen of pc

                    My PC Dell Ins. AIO 3043 PQC/4500/W8/1Y (25), Sr No-1K0B022, ORD No[protected], Bill No- LR-545, Dated: 28/9/2014 with 2 Year extended warranty, is facing problem of "horizontal lines on the screen", Please check and take necessary action ASAP.

                      Dell India Pvt. Ltd./ Inspiron Laptop — Delivery of my laptop

                      With due respest, this is to say that I had made payment for my new dell laptop dtd 22/01/2010 to Dell Exclusive showroom located at 65A, Guru nanak Pura, Viukas Marg, Laxmi Nagar Delhi-110092. As per Company norms laptop should have reached my Shipping Address within 7-10 working days. On 8/02/2010 I had a talk with customer care and was told that my lappy would reach by 16/02/2010. A foolish thing told to me was that process of my order began only on 4/02/10 and time limit for delivery will start after that date only . He also told me that everything is right on Company's part also that making a transaction with Dell is not such purchasing anything from any shop. As a result, I am facing huge problems with my office work.

                      So please look into my matter and do the needful. Also let me know what else I should do against the Company so that such misbehaviour is not repeated by the Company with any other Customer in future.

                      THEY RECEIVED THE PAYMENT THROUGH CREDIT CARD PROCESS.

                        I bought the dell streak in march 2012.Within a month i had some dead pixels on the screen.I did not drop the fone even once.There is no physical damage on the fone(or tablet whatever).On the top left side of the screen black mark appeared out of nowhere.I decided to go to the service center but had a very hard time to locate the address as the service center was located in a very remote location.When i reached there i found that the service center had been shifted somewhere else.Nobody seemed to know where it was shifted.I tried to contact the customer care a lot of times but the cal would be on waiting and ultimately it would get disconnected.It took me about a month to locate and spare time to go to the place where the service center was shifted.By that time the black mark spread to the lower portion of the screen.Around 30%of the screen had become black.After talking to the 'only' guy at the service center he said that the fluid inside the lcd display has spread and i will have to pay 10.5thousand bucks to get the phone replaced as they cannot solve the problem.He said that when you keep the fone in your jeans's pocket because of the pressure on the screen the lcd panel inside bursts because of it and the liquid spreads over the screen which appears like a black mark on the screen.And he said it is considered as a physical damage to the fone so warranty would not be considered.I tried to explain to him that i did not drop the fone even once and how could i be held responsible for the damage.Also the manual did not warn about the fact that the fone should not be kept in ur pocket.Besides where should i keep the fone if not in my pocket?I own a dell xps laptop and i love dell and thats the reason i bought the fone.However this unreasonable demand for 10.5 and the indifferent attitude of your service has left me stunned.These things really affect a companys brand image.Customer should be the priority.I request you to look into the matter as soon as possible.Kindly reply on sanjay.[protected]@gmail.com.

                          My Laptop Screen was broken. Currenlty It is under warranty so I called up Dell service support and
                          requested them to look into the matter. I furnish them with all necessary details on 20 June, 2012. But till
                          now no action has been taken every time I call they keep on changing dates of service.

                          They even didnt notify me when they make any necessary changes I myself had to call and get details
                          about it. Any laptop in warranty is ensured to be serviced in 24 hours but my all complaints are falling on
                          deaf ears.Kindly look into the same.

                              I purchased this on December 2011 from Guwahati Dell Showroom (Assam). I am quite an impulsive buyer and when I entered the showroom and saw an android at just 8500, i couldn't just control myself. I have a 3 years old Dell Laptop and though it harassed me earlier a lot but as I built a hidden fascination for the brand DELL, I never looked back & purchased Dell XCD 35 (Later I found, it is manufactured by a Chinese company.
                              Gradually I developed a good amount of insight over researching about Androids, their specifications details and value for money. Many of my friends has bought Androids later after consulting me but I found no other phone with this much RICH of Specification like my Dell XCD35. But, but, but, I have never recommended this phone to anybody else and the sole reason is - This phone RESTARTED without any notice in any time, any moment, any where. It will not give you time to take any precaution and surprisingly, this RESTARTING habit sometimes happens to be more than 3 times a day. There is not a single day I passed with having this SUDDEN RESTARTING of this phone. I love my phone so much or you can say I am a Lazy Assamese guy, that is why I never turned up to any Dell shop for replacement or maintenance though I have a One year of Warranty.
                              Sometimes I feel like, Its just a Bad marriage where both party don't want any divorce but want to stay with as far happiness as possible.

                                My Dell Laptop Inspiron N5010 Service Tag # BVZY5BS,I lodged the complain for loose battery or play in battery on 9th June 2012.Dell CC had send me bottom base in order to rectify the problem.
                                The dispatch number of the complain was[protected].
                                On Wednesday,Technician Mr. Pankaj Nagpal visited my place.on replacing bottom base,the problem remained the same.
                                Then,technician called Dell Customer Support & let me talked to Mr. Kabeer with whom i had normal discussion.
                                On not satisfying,he transferred my call to Floor Supervisor Mr. Vivek Singh( he called him as floor Supervisor) was really rude and awful in his conversation.

                                With the initiation of the call , he was awful,rude,impolite,unprofessional & to conclude rubbish & no right to be in Dell if he communicate to a customer like the way i mention here.
                                He told me that they cant satisfy me,we cant manufacture the special parts for you from Dell.if your problem is not rectified then they cant help me on this,Blah-Blah.
                                He was interupting my conversation and not allowing me to speak.
                                I asked me neither I abused you or said anything wrong then why you were speaking to me so badly.Does Dell taught you to speak to the customer in this manner. I mentioned that I will complain against him.
                                He bravefully said that I can do that & also sarcastically asked me to follow xyz statements.
                                He mentioned case id as[protected] & his name as Vivek Singh,Floor Supervisor.

                                This is awful & gruesome,I was not so dismayed with my technical problem not resolved but the experience talking with Mr Vivek Singh landed me in great dilemme and distrust for dell service.

                                I feel that there are still responsible people in Dell who can take care of such activities of defamation conducted by people like Vivek Singh.
                                For reference,I request to kindly listen to conversation happened between me & Vivek Singh.

                                Looking forward to hear from Dell Official who can take care of such matter & penalize people like Vivek Singh.

                                  I had ordered a ultrabook vide Customer No:[protected] Booking Date: 25/05/2012.I have a written confirmation from the Dell sales executive at the store that delivery will happen in 7 working days.Suddenly after a lot of impressive looking mails I am verbally informed that the product is not available and my money finally returned on 9th June.I think it is a great revenue model to keep the customers money for a few weeks without any obligationor apology and then return the money and pocket the interest.I will defintely share my experience with friends/associates without fail.

                                    I bought this mobile one year back and used for less than 5 months and started facing issues in the internal speaker. As usual I took it to the Dell Service center and they promised to replace this mobile in 7 days and they did. Again after 4 months I started facing issues with the external speaker and again got a replacement. After 3 months (3 days after the warranty expiry date) I started facing issues again with the external speaker. When contacted to technical support they said it was an manufacturing issue from Dell but this time they are asking me to pay some amount for the replacement. Why should I pay for manufacture issues? If they mobile gone faulty because of my usage I would be paying for replacement. For manufacturing issue why I should pay and they should have replaced my old piece with a better one instead they replaced it with a faulty one. I don’t say that Dell Service is not good. It’s very good. But there is a problem with DELL itself. There is no Reliability & Durability in any Dell product.

                                    I have asked them to replace it with any other model and I am ready to pay the difference amount if any. But they said they cannot replace with any other model.

                                    1 year - 3 mobiles - 2 replacements...

                                    Dell sucks... I hate this mobile... Do not use or buy this mobile.

                                    Even Dell XCD 35 is not good. Do not buy this mobile too....

                                      I had booked a laptop vide customer order no:[protected] on 23rd May'2012.I was committed delivery in writing in seven working days.However soon I started getting calls from customer care informing me that it will take four weeks.Finally without any correpondence I was informed the laptop is not available and I was given a refund on 11th June'2012.So for all practical purposes Dell keeps the customer's money for weeks and then returns the same without an apology.If they do this with 1000 customers all India every week,that is a neat package in interest that they get.A great idea to make a few extra bucks without any hassle.

                                        Hi,
                                        I bought ta laptop which is purchased in US by my brother and he gave as a gift it to me. He purchased it and sent it through his friend to me. I got it in February. I had a Lanport(Internet port) & LCD screen issues from the day I received the laptop.
                                        I called Indian dell support so that they can do something for the laptop in order to fix it.
                                        I had an international warranty.
                                        Here are the details of my laptop:
                                        Laptop Model: Inspiron 14Z (N411z) and the warranty started from February.
                                        Issues: Lanport Issue and LCD screen issue (White spots on some areas of the screen.)

                                        I called Indian Dell technical support at [protected] and talked to one of the technician and he lodged a complaint on the Laptop and said that an Engineer will be visiting my place with the parts. ( This happened not on the fist day when I called. It happened after 50 to 60 times I called them and after speaking to managers).

                                        After one moth dell Engineer came to my place with parts.
                                        Here are the parts that he bought:
                                        # Instead of bringing a lanport he bought a card reader port.
                                        # bought a defective LCD screen for which brightness is too low so I refused to accpet the that LCD screen because of it's defective. So, I asked him not to change.
                                        and in addition the engineer gave me additional complaints.

                                        He handled my laptop very roughly and I lost my camera( Unable to use the camera, he messed up some cables and
                                        they got damaged).
                                        The body of the laptop has become loose.

                                        and again I called them for 100-110 time now, it took around 45 days in order to visit the engineer to my place.
                                        This time same thing happened.
                                        He brought
                                        # Lanport
                                        # MotherBoard
                                        # LCD screen
                                        #LCD screen cable which connects to mother board.
                                        This time he tried to change the screen and same thing happened, LCD brightness is too low. I rejected it. Engineer asked me to accept it and then complaint again to Dell.
                                        He change the mother board and lanport and the laptop didn't turn on.
                                        Finally, he removed the laptop for 40 times and he kept the my old mother board and new lanport in my laptop.
                                        So, Finally he changed LCD screen and lanport.
                                        But, LCD is defective again and Lanport is not even working now.
                                        Even this engineer bought me additional problems.
                                        Don't know what happened he completely made the system such that the operating system is corrupted and it is not able to turn it on. He formatted my laptop and I lost all of my files and setups.

                                        I formatted the system and I called the dell laptop support and this time I asked to rep;lace my laptop as it was already repaired twice from the day I brought it and I am unable to use it.
                                        They told me that it is not possible and they escalated this case to
                                        Sujan J (Senior Support Resolver),CSMB - India Customer Support,Dell | Consumer, Small and Medium Business

                                        His way of talking on the phone is like as if I had done a crime. I explained the entire story to him and he simply said
                                        " If you explain the same, I will keep your phone on speaker and you can shout, I will just listen, once you are done, I will explain the same thing".

                                        I just told him to replace my laptop and asked him if in additional if I want to pay anything for a new laptop I am ready to pay.
                                        He said it is not possible.
                                        Finally he told me that he is going to send an other Engineer.
                                        after few days, today ( 9th june, 2012) another engineer came to my lace with a LCD screen.
                                        He changed the screen and even it is defective(brightness problem).

                                        So, this time I finally rejected. The engineer tried to call the dell support team to inform the same. They didn't responded.
                                        He left for the day with the LCD screen he bought.

                                        So, I don't know what to do now.

                                        Here are the current problems of my laptop:

                                        ## LCD screen issue
                                        ## Lanport issue
                                        ## laptop body (outside ) has become loose as it was opened many times.
                                        ## scratches while removing the laptop such that it lost the color at some places.

                                        Here are my details which are registered with Dell support:

                                        Coming to dell support, when I call them they keep the call on hold and they will end the call. I need to explain the entire story to everyone.

                                        I am not able to use my laptop from the day I bought it. This escalation in Dell keeps on going and it is already 4 months I am not using my laptop.

                                        My laptop is not usable any i don't want to use this defective one anymore as this is opened this many of times and they messed up everything. I just want the laptop to be replaced.

                                        I wasted almost 4 months with the Dell support, I don't want to spend even a second discussing about the issue. So, I decide to go legally and file a complaint against the Company.
                                        I want some legal advice in this case what to do next. I hop[e best can be done from your end.
