[Resolved]  DNA — DNA-DEFINITELY NOT AVAILABLE NEWSPAPER

01. First I pay in advance for annual subscriptions, I get 12 coupons and 1 privilege card with a promise that I start getting my subscriptions from October 1, 2008.
02. Toadys is October 3, 2008 - NO SUBSCRIPTIONS HAVE ARRIVED
03. So I call up the enquiry number[protected] guess what I am greeted with a message "NUMBER IS SWITCHED OFF"
04. Following which I send a mail to [protected]@dnaindia.net - NO REPLY TILL NOW
05. I then go to THE COMPANY website and get the contact details of 2 sections [protected]@dnaindia.net & [protected]@dnaindia.net - MY MAIL TO EDITORONLINE BOUNCES BACK
05. WHAT NEXT????

A disappointed customer with A DNA privilege card in Bangalore & 12 coupons to certify that I have paid in advance for one full year subscription of a newspaper or whatever called DNA (DEFINITELY NOT AVAILABLE NEWSPAPER)

Im staying in bangalore.I have opted for DNA newspaper daily by august last week.And they say that the newspaper delivery will be commencing by october first week.But it has not yet commenced and i send a mail to the customer complaint of DNA and I havnt received any reply yet.
I too applied for DNA news paper, but till to date i have not received any coupons/newspaper/info. But money got deducted from my a/c. This sort o[censored]nfareness is very bad & people lose confidence.

I am subscriber of DNA news and privilege card. The news paper started coming properly but I dint got the list of shops where I can use the privilege card. when I contacted the DNA area incharge he gave me call center no but after calling it replies as it is switched off.

I have subscribed for DNA for 1 Year and the term ends in June2009. Yesterday the Vendor -S Murugan had come to house to collect the coupon of HT for the period Apr 2009 -March 2010 which my wife refused to. Today he stopped delivering the HT & DNA.When I called on his cell he said he will deliver the same which he has not done till now. Thereafter he has switched off his cell. I request to find some solutions fo the same.

DNA — No Newspaper Delivery.

Dear DNA,
It’s a disgrace that we have opted to take your subscription, and I am sorry I am sending you a last mail before I drag you to consumer court.
For we have received you coupons ages Ago, yet not a single news paper has been supplied. The Person who got in touch with us is Mr. Mehul – [protected] is the contact detail for Mr.Mehul where as
Mr. Anil B Pawaskar for Charkop, Sector – 9 Plot No – 941, Kandiwali West is supposed to be our news paper vendor, none of the mentioned gentlemen have been in touch, I have been regularly following up with this and have not received a single response from either person, on the contrary I have even tried to get in touch via telephone with the complaint department in Kamla Mills and also on the number that is given on the coupons however in vain, there has again been no response.
Well if this is the way you have decided to respond, please clarify if you would be able to resolve this situation, In no response is received before E.O.D tomorrow –[protected], I will be forced to take legal action against DNA brand.

This is the mail i have sent to DNA out of the long wait for them to resolve the situation, however i know they will fail to respond once again.

DNA — COMPLAINT FOR NON-DELIVERY

Dear DNA,

We have booked for 2-year subscription for delivery at Malad in the name of my Father Shri R. R. Kothari.

The subscription was to start from 1st Feb 2011. The coupon booklet also has a coupon to start from 1st Feb 2011.

We were excited to take the 2-year subscription and we were actually very excited to the day when we would start reading DNA everyday for the next 2 year atleast.

We know that DNA is a good newspaper equally important as Times of India and Hindustan Times. It always carries all important and impacting news vis-a-vis TOI and HT.

We also want to read as it is a JV between Dainik Bhaskar and Zee Group and we expect good, intelligent News Gathering, Reporting and Journalism from DNA !

However, it was surprising to know that no DNA was delivered today i.e. 1st Feb 2011.

On calling the Vendor, he replied that he would not deliver the newspaper for today and also that he would deliver the paper for today from tomorrow. which is not only surprising and
illogical but also unheard of.

What is the use and benefit of reading an old newspaper?

Is this how DNA proposes to manage the subscription for next 2 years ????

I am shocked !

We had also called the land-line number of DNA which gave the mobile number of Hemant Goud - Executive responsible for the Vendor but he is not taking the calls.

Kindly understand that it is a loss for us as though the delivery should have started from 1st Feb 2011 but it has not started and also I do not want delivery of an old newspaper.

So, kindly check the whole matter and inform us in writing and also telephonically so as we can decide if we want to continue or not and to cancel the 2-year subscription.

We feel cheated and taken for a ride by such bad management and handling of the subscribers.

Hope that the officers will take a serious view and correct the gaps in the system so as other subscribers will at least not feel cheated at the hands of DNA.

DNA — Arrogant behaviour of Area Manager- NOT RECEIVING paper COPY

Dear Concerned,

Inspite of regular calling up at your pune office and your Manager Mr. Pravin Jadav my complains are not heard.

I have Yearly subscription of your paper but i dont get the paper regularly, hardly get 3 days in a week and the other 4 days i don't get it especially on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

I complained for the same at your pune office but no response.

I also contacted your manager Mr. Pravin Jadav ([protected]) but his arrogant behaviour is very disappointing, his attitude seems as if he is working with a government organisation.

My vendor is Sunil ( Vicky newspaper- [protected]) which was set by your previous manager Mr. Anil ([protected])

Request you to kindly intervene and regularise it either by changing the vendor or by any other means.

This is joyce abraham working in central railway and my no. is [protected] and e-mail id I've taken DNA Subscription for 2 years by paying Rs. 199/- starting from 01-Jan-2011. But till date i'm not getting the newspaper at my home. I've spoken to the executive of DNA but no proper response from him till date. Even i called the customer service center at DNA to launch a complaint but every time i called they told that the concern person is not available and they will call me back. But the result is same no solution for the problem. Hence writing to you seeking for immediate action and solution.
