Non receiving of newspaper
DNA newspaper has launched a scheme of Yearly subscription in 299. Their representative came to my home and gave the details. He promised me that he will send the hawcker to receive the coupens but nobody came for that. regular hawker is not ready to give the paper without giving the payment coupen for atleat six months in advance. Then another representative came from DNA he sent one hawker to receive the commencement coupen He came and collected the commencement coupen but still we have not received even a single copy of news paper after 3 months also. Many times we launch a complaint on DNA site also but there is no response. DNA services are too bad I don't know how is the paper contents. I 'll suggest to all to not to take DNA in the yearly subscription. They don't fulfill the promises.

| DNA comes from the Zee and the Dainik haskar group. How can anyone doubt the credibility of these big media groups. They have promised and delivered DNA in Mumbai, Surat, Pune and Ahmedabad and would definitely deliver it with a big bang in Bangalore. They may have got delayed beacuse launching a newspaper is no kid's stuff, it must be a huge mountain to climb and we as readers should support them rather than discourage them. Even i have paid subscription for DNA and i am willing to ait instead of cribbing as i have seen the way they have captured the Mumbai market, i know that they are a damn good newspaper. |

I don't understand why the whole fuss about DNA getting delayed. It is a newspaper that is going to bring in a new perspective in Bangalore. So if we are patient for another month or so i think we the readers will be the ones who will benefit. I have read it in Mumbai and it is fabulous and i am sure they will bring out a better product here in Bangalore. Also, they already have Bangalore news being uploaded in a section specifically developed for Bangalore on their website. The link for which is

i think it is a case of communication taking some time perhaps due to a wide range of subscribers. i am saying this because i got a mail from their id, replying to my mail, informing about the postponement of the launch to December apparently due to a change in design. in fact i callled the no. also and was informed that they are in process of informing all the subscribers. they informed that subscriber details are with them and the money paid would be enable us for subscription for one year from date of launch and we can also use the loyalty coupon. we should not get too critical since they have invested so much money. i hope we will get some communication shortly. |

why are we gettting so critical about DNA not coming in at Oct. sometimes there can be delay. ZEE and Dainik Bhaskar are very big names in media and they would not let their brand credibilty get affected and they have so much experience in this business. DNA is coming to Bangalore after 5 sucessful launches in past. today, they are read and respected in all the 5 cities. my friend from Bombay speak about DNA's quality in news reporting. In fact also, i called their no (45738888) and was told that the launch is postponed to Dec and our details are with them and the subscription will start from date of launch for next one year, due to some design upgradation. so, we should stop getting worried. they are informing the subscribers. let us have some patience to get a high quality newspaper. I, for one, am eagerly waiting for the newspaper in Dec. |

I am really concerned that what influenced your news would be if the agency cheats its customers for mere 300 rs .
I Paid for this newspaper starting from April (Approx) this year, and I have paid for cash in advance
But somehow or other reason I did not get any newspaper delivered at home for first 2 months, later
after checking the delivery man he started giving newspaper but on irregular basis (17 days in month)
but he came on August 1st and ask for the coupon for May/June/July which I resisted since he did not deliver
He abused me and shouted at my door to pay all coupon as this is DNA trick to cheat people not his fault as newspaper did not come from DNA.
later he came in my absence and took all booklet of coupon from my aged mother.
I have few concerns
1> Why do they have a promotion scheme which they cant handle
2> Why do we pay for the service which we did not get (if i have paid in advance against Coupon then its my wish not to give coupons against service)
3> why do i have to give all booklet in advance fo coming month since i am already not satisfy with the services (2 Months 17 days without Newspaper)
4> How can they send goons people to customer doorstep( or they deliberately hire these people as u know ur service)
5> if they wish to earn 300 rs from everyone they should beg for it (i can pay 600 also)
but DO NOT CHEAT people or or ABUSE MY RIGHTS as a Customer |
absolutely irresponsible and taking people for a ride . they know we cant complain about the 8 free days of paper they had promised adn no court/ authority can do anything that is free. so we'll settle down for the Rs 300 worth fo newpaper adn hope it comes.
by the way their behaviour and lack of interest of the local paper fellows go- it seems very6 likely that we are in trouble adn are better off being resigned to the truth- "Rs 300 was not OURS" |

I am from Bangalore, I have made my one year subscription fees, and as per words i was supposed to receive the Newspaper from 1st September. But till now i haven't received any Newspaper. I haven’t received any confirmation till today nor receiving a single news paper from your end. No any phone call i received.
Can you mail me back, and confirm me whether are you published the paper not. |
The hackers who came near my home for subscription of DNA news paper told me like u can use privilege card in big bazaar's and also as mentioned in the form given by them... But when i went to big bazaar and asked them to give me the discount by the card they said its not been activated and now they are telling it cannot be used at all...
What a cheating they have done to us... |

I think I did the mistake by taking annual subscription of this so called DNA newspaper.
How silly these people are!!!
They are unable to manage the launch and distribution of this DNA!!!Really I stoped copy of time of India and now from past many days I am waiting to get a copy of DNA.Even two days before only I came to know that they started its distribution before two weeks.
I hope I will get a copy soonnn !!!

I have been trying to reach DNA (080-65738888), I am getting switched off or busy with another line.
I have paid the amount 18th of August.
Nobody has come to pick coupon and I am not receiving the paper.
This is too bad, after taking money and people are not giving the paper.
This send the bad image on the DNA, if this is the case they have to shutdown their news paper production. |

i am also subscibed for one year news paper but no body came and delivered the news paper and i was no getting any contact number to check the status, then i called to Mumbai head office and got the bangalore contact details as bellow:

Hi,
I would like to introduce myself as Manikandan Nambiar, a resident of Bangalore who had subscribed for the DNA newspaper few months back.
An executive came and had told the various details regarding the DNA newspaper and the subscription will start in the month of November or December.
I had made the advance payment of Rs 299/- to him and also had received the booklet (DNA SUBSCRIPTION BOOKLET NUMBER IS 038428) and the receipts for the 12 month subscription period along with some coupon and all.
I did not receive the newspaper in the month of November I called the customer care mentioned in the booklet and I was told that the subscription will start in the month of December. In December when I did not get the newspaper I called up and after trying for more than three days in the customer care number for Bangalore (080-65738888) I got a response saying that I should contact the agent and they gave the phone number and when contacted the agent told that I will be getting the newspaper next day onwards but till this date I have never received a single newspaper or else a mail or call from the newspaper agency/ concerned department in this regard.
I had also messaged the following as per the booklet information but the reply was wrong keynote and all.

I am still trying to get the customer care number but its always busy and I have been trying for past more than 12 hrs.
Anyway I have decided not to sms or call the DNA or I don’t want even the newspaper.
CAN ANYONE HELP ME IN GETTING BACK MY Rs 299/- AT THE EARLIEST.
An early reply is most welcome.
