Dear Sir/Ma'am,
[DTDC] I just received a courier on today from a friend. He had told me that he'll be sending a pendant with a chain for me, while he will be sending a bracelet for his another friend. He seem to have bought it from a gold jewelry store, though he says that it wasn't pricey.
He sent it on the day before yesterday afternoon, like what I know. He sent it from Agra.
But when I received it on today afternoon in Shantinagar, Bangalore I found the pendant and the bracelet missing.
The cover looks untouched. But my friend says there was no misplacing it even by mistake...
I tried checking every nook and corner of the stuff that he sent me but I could not find the pendant or the bracelet...
[Professional Couriers] This made me remind of another incident. Though trivial, I thought I'd better mention it here. A few months ago, my mom wanted to send me some food material like some fried chips (something like that) and lots of chocolate). It was during December. I told her not to, but she insisted on sending it and sent it to Bangalore. When i opened it, I found only the fried stuff but not the chocolates. The chocolates were missing. Yet the parcel thingy looked well packed. My parents said that they had sent the chocolate, but it was missing.
What I'm trying to say is that it's not safe to even send the most unimportant thing through courier these days. It's understandable that in today's world there's lots of suspicion going on about bombs and stuff. I can understand that. (I even warned my friend not to send pricey material through courier. It was his first time sending stuff through courier.) But then when it's not bombs and stuff and when the items are safe and totally harmless, why not safely deliver it? Where have we reached in today's world? When innocent people trust someone to do something, why not try and keep their trust?
Thank you!
Sincerely,

I heard that it's normal for the handlers to take out banned items. I checked the official DTDC website. I should've never lodged this complaint. But still my friend told me they weren't precious. Precious or nor precious- it'd have been better if it was sent back or was not accepted at all to be sent/couriered instead of taking it and keeping it. I am really sorry about what I said. *bows* sorry
Thank you!
Sincerely,
Sangeetha Delampady
