[Resolved]  E-ticket — Refund against cancelled ticket

Dear Sir,

I had booked 2 tickets (confirmed) from New Delhi to Phagwara on 23 May' 09 and 2 tickets from New Delhi to Phagwara on 25.May,.2009. I had filed TDRs for claiming the refund of all the four tickets on 26th May 2009 and 27th May' 09 vide PNR no. [protected] and [protected] and the transaction IDs are [protected] and [protected] respectively. The payment for booking of above 4 tickets was made through Credit Card.

There is lack of communication and follow up from IRCTC to CCM/Northern Railway. This has created lot of hardship and I had to follow up with IRCTC, Delhi. I have incured huge telephone bills and and have suffered mental agony. I would like to be compensated not only for the tickets refund but also for the cost towards follow up and mental agony from the Railways.

For your ready reference, I am giving below under 'QUOTE - UNQUOTE' some of the mails sent to IRCTC in follow up for refund of above tickets and you will also find their replies which are not at all satisfaftory.

In view of above, you are requested to kindly advise the concerned CCM/Refund, Northern Railway, New Delhi to refund the amount immediately and also compensate me for the mental agoney I have suffered in following up for refund.

Looking forward for justice.

Thanks and regards

You wuill appreciate that I am writing to you for refund of my two TDRs for the last several months and every time I am receiving a similar message that my refund case has been forwarded to the concerned official or CCN/NR but no concrete solution has been done i.e. I am not able to get my TDR amount which is amounting to Rs. 231.00 x 2 - 462.00 Approx. Dear Sirs,

This has reference to the two TDRs mentioned in the below mails which were duly admin approved on 26th and 27th of May 2009 respectively.

IS THERE ANYBODY AT IRCTC WHO CAN CONFIRM AS TO WHEN I WILL GET REFUND OF THE TDRs IN QUESTION BECAUSE IT IS NOW AROUND 150 DAYS OF TDR BOOKING AND ADMIN APPROVAL ?

PLEASE ALSO GIVE ME THE CONTACT DETAILS (EMAIL AS WELL AS PHONE NUMBERS) OF THE CONCERNED OFFICER/DEALING HAND SO THAT I AM ALSO ABLE TO CONTACT AND ASK AS TO WHY THIS HAS BEEN KEPT ON HOLD FOR SO MANY DAYS BECAUSE AS PER TDR RULES, REFUNDS ARE MADE WITHIN 90 DAYS THEN WHY IT HAS NOT BEEN CLEARED SO FAR.

Kindly treat this as urgent and revert with solution because it has already been inordinately delayed and I am being harassed for no fault of me by delaying the refund of said TDRs which is becoming intolerable now.

Looking forward to your quick response on the subject.
