[Resolved]  FLY B430 — Vodafone invalid sim

I have bought the same mobile Fly B430 (IMEI number [protected] & [protected]) from Paragon Thane, Maharastra.
I bought it on 01/02/2010, after 05/02/2010 evening my service provider Vodafone blocked my sim on this handset stating invalid sim.
I would like to tell you its breach of trust from all Vodafone, Fly and Dealers.
I have some serious questions.
Why are these mobiles allowed to be sold in first place?
Why is it not advertised that such mobiles are not to be bought?
Why is the governing authority silent on this matter?
why is the consumer left to suffer for no mistake of his?
If the manufacturer advertises his instrument through media, without a valid IMEI number, why is it not made mandatory to confirm validation and authenticity of IMEI numers attached to the instruments ?
How is a consumer expected to know this?
There is a need to spread awareness about the same people spend their hard earned money on buying hand sets..
However, My cell contains a IMEI number ([protected] & [protected]) and it is a valid IMEI number issued by Mobile standards alliance of India. If this is true, why has my mobile gone dead?
If anyone can help please, help us.
We have bought this handset by spending our hard earned money.

Vodafone — Vodafone blocks my fly handset

Hi

I bought a new fly handset (Model no. E111 DS) last month which is dual sim handset. I have two sims vodafone and reliance and i was using both from last month in this handset.

On Feb 5, 2010 evening, my handset shows Invalid SIM for vodafone and Reliance sim is still working. I called vodafone customer care and they said they dont know anything regarding this.

I visited Vodafone store and they said vodafone blocks handsets having unregstered IMEI number.

My question is how vodafone blocks without intimating us. I bought the set from Hotspot. Why they didnt give me warning about this?

The official from vodafone store said that you have two options: 1. Buy a new handset and use vodafone sim card in the new one. 2. Just disconnect your vodafone number.

How can vodafone do this with their customers? I bought the handset for Rs 5000. Is it waste?

Thanks
Mohnish

Since Feb 5th Vodafone has blocked my sim "invalid sim". With the dual sim facility available in my phone i had set Vodafone as my primary number rather Cellone. Now i am really suffering for this loss. While checking with the Fly support Center I was told that this problem will be revoked by evening of Feb-8, but in vain.

Contacting Vodafone tollfree number i was told that my sim card is in a really "healthy condition" viz. the signal strenght received 32Hz. I was not given the true fact about the dispute between Fly and Vodafone by the Vodafone Customer Care Executive.

For being owned the phone for almost 2 months the act between Vodafone and Fly is agonizing.
nice try "vodafone customer care" ur fish tasts bad
I am also facing the same issue from 05/02/2010 evening. But when i contact the dealer where i bought the mobile phone, i am informed that it can be corrected in an another 2 days. But still i have the same issue. Kindly let me know what can i do to handle this issue legally.

Thanks in advance.
My God these people are taking you guys for a ride. Iam an advocate and i advice guys to please approach the consumer forum immediately. Its not a lengthy procedure, you will get the decision within 45 days.

Vodafone — Vodafone SIM is invalid

I Purchased a Postpaid connection from store of vodaphone from Rajnagar Ghaziabad, I got verification calls and they said that it will be activated in 24 hours, nut surprisingly from second day onwards it starts showing invalid sim. No support from customer care and nodal officers, they all are killing my time.
There should be heavy panilty on Vodaphone for troubling there customers like this, never never, use vodaphone they have worst care for there customer
