Harassment By Airtel — Blockage of service on a prepaid account | |||
On 29 August 2011 I had lodged a complaint against Airtel for debiting my prepaid account No. [protected] with Rs.30 for Airtel Friendz Chat. Yesterday I received a call from Airtel Customer Service mentioning this complaint. I confirmed with them that I did not require this service. I asked them to immediately credit my account with the amount that was deducted, to which the person agreed and said it would be done in half an hour. From that moment, my phone has become totally inoperational - I am not able to receive nor make calls, I am not able to see the balance in the account, etc. I request that suitable action be taken against Airtel who are harassing customers in any way possible. They are a lot of irresponsible, spiteful and negligent people who have no care for the customer's privileges for which we have paid in advance. This is the secondime I am being put through such an experience, and I would like a permanent end to be made to this unreasonable torture. Hoping for an immediate action on your part. Thank you.
