[Resolved]  HFCL CONNECT Ludhiana — internet connection for[protected]

I applied for the Connect internet connection in the month of July. And the same was issued in our favour. against a security of Rs 1600.00 and I was assured for the services prompt Services. As I reside overseas i badly needed internet connection at my home to be in touch with the family. When i left my home they installed the same at my home and it was not working. I from here and my family in india made lot of complaints to the afore said office. but due to poor and nontechnical staff my internet did not worked even for a single day. Their so called technical persons visited our home as they could not install the software in my laptop. and told that there is some problem in laptop. (pl. note that i have LG laptop (2008 model) at my home which contains original windows vista). and they told that there is some problem in laptop. so we got our laptop serviced from the service center which costed us Rs. 750.00. and there was no fault in the laptop. then their technical persons said that they cannot install it in vista and we should format the laptop and instead of latest original version of vista we should reload it with XP. which of course was not justified. So we requested them to install the same in the desktop which has XP. but again the same so called technician came and refused to install by saying that there is no CD drive. this confirmed that the person is non technical. if he would have been a technical he could have used any of the follwoing options.
1. He could have got CD ROM temporarily and rectified the problem.
2. He could have used pen drive for the same.
3. He could have used laptop CD driver as LAN as both desktop and laptop have LAN Drive.
4. He Could have used card reader as I have got both card and card reader at my home.

but instead of any of the among options he wanted us to by a new combo drive for the computer. As this was only incurring costs we simply requested them to cancel our connection and refund our money.

but to our utter surprise instead of mitigating our complaints, they everyday call for bill payment which stands more than thousand now. When we explained that the internet connection did not work for a single day. Their executive argued that as we have taken connection we need to pay the bill and are harassing my family.

Can now you please redress as you feel right as i donot want my family be called for payment.
