[Resolved]  Homeshop18 — sending wrong goods and now undue delay in refund of amount

non refunding of amount against order company failed to supply

i had done online booking for onida mobile (product code-G480) costing Rs3699/- in Nov-Dec08, by online booking the product and paying the cash on delivery of parcel by courier TNT ( DO[protected] ww )on 18/12/08.
but on opening the parcel i was shocked that Homeshop18 sent me inferior mobile model G-460 costing Rs 500 less and still charging me for the ordered product. With great difficulty they agreed to collect the parcel without me having to pay the courier, as it was mistake on their part, subsiquently i again approached customer care in FEB2009 on their toll free nos to inquire why they are not sending the correct product, every time they apologised for the delay but did nothing to solve the issue. After multiple follow up they agreed that the correct product is not available and that i will receive the refund cheque of icici bank made on 4th april 09 within 7 days, and that the said cheque will be delivered by registered letter of indian post. However till date 06 may 09 i have yet to receive the refund letter, in spite of phoning them again and again.
my advice never SHOP WITH HOMESHOP18, or be prepared to pull them in consumer court to claim the refund money with interest + various phone expenses if you have the bills + legal expenses and for the mental torture thus suffered, since that is the only option the company has left for me to exercise

addendum
the various complaints registered by homeshop18 customer care are 777478 then 1020963 on 4/2/09 then 1458105 on dt 4/05/09 and may be many more to go...

Samsung star G Mobile Phone — Non receipt of mobile phone in parcel.

I had ordered samsung Star G mobile Phone ON 26/9/09 thru card payment. After enquiry I was informed that my order has been dispatched by courier on 01/10/2009. I received the parcel on 12/10/09 in the afternoon. On opening I found that one side of the box is torn out and the seal on the edges was broken. The box was completely empty. There was no mobile, no cables, no manuals etc.
For a payment of Rs. 9,498/- I received empty box.

I don't get my product still now.My address is correct but still courier company saying that my adress is false. I am so upset with that.

I have purchased a aptech Camcorder two month before.For a while it worked well.But after some times it creating problem.When the camcorder get started. it works smoothly, but while i m inserting SD Memory card in it, it indicate that the Card is Protact.Kindly solve my problem to avoid further query or give me details of any service centre at Varanasi.

Nokia 3110c Complaints - Phone Switch Off after 15 Min Talks

This is in reference to order No.[protected] dated 03/01/10, sub-order No. 72447927, account No. 74099 towards purchase of SpyCam Pen with AV recorder SPYPEN 16GB (Code SPYPEN-16GB-MAR).
The above-mentioned item was delivered against cash payment on 07/01/2010. Unfortunately, this item has gone out of order on nex day 08/01/2010 I made complained on 11/01/2010 for non-functioning of the SpyCam on phone number [protected] and I got reply that the concerned engineer will attend the problem with in 2-3 days. But, no response was there. On 11/01/2010 again I contacted on the same number; they gave me another contact phone number s,[protected] [protected] [protected]. there are no response As per discussion on this phone number, (11/01/2010), I was asked to send back the SPYCAM for replacement to HS 18.
On 11/01/10, I again made a contact to HS 18, they asked me to send back this item for replacement margo enterprises room no2-d 3rd floor karanjia beulding no 374/378/380 nobelty cenima grant road (east) Mumbai, ”. They also gave me courier Phone No. 60009999 to collect this item from Aurangabad But, this courier company (TNT) bears no office in Aurangabad. Again I made a contact to HS 18, they peoples asked me to send the SPYCAM by any courier from the Aurangabad and to mail the courier receipt for getting the payment.
As per advice, I am dispatching the SpyCam to above-mentioned address and the receipt will be sent to you for claim purpose. I here by request to replace the item at an earliest.

I had purchased a whirlpool microwave through homeshop18 in July'2009 but starter kit and booklet which were part of package, yet to be recieved. I had made several complaints ( as much as 25 ) to customer care cell of homeshop18 but everytime they come up with steriotype reply that your complaint has been forwarded to authorities and kit will be delivered in a week time. But after 08 months status is same. I have recently changed my house & my new address is as follows

shri ganpati electronics — parcel not delivered

i have sedn a parce(it has hearing aid programmer) to my customer in baharin. he has still not received it . send on 3-4-10. the tracking on ems shows no whereabouts of the parcel.my client is very disturbed. he cannot attend his meetings or anything. he needs to programe his hearing aid so as to enable him to listen.

I ordered for a intex DVD player 20 days back, Either I got a call from the coruier service or from Homeshop 18, My money is gone and If I call the customer care they say I need to check with the courier service. Now where is the order that I placed. Please dont shop with home shop.
If you spend 1000 rupess extra its ok, But never go for this homeshop.
Never purchase any electronics goods from Homeshope 18. They are promoting non-branded items and earning a very good commission. I had purchased one mobile, which was shown on their TV channel. In that programm they are saying that the product is not China stock. But after receiveing the same, I came to know that it was China set. And after purchasing they are not ready to tke it back or change the same with branded one. The warranty period of the same is 6 months and after 8 months it was totally damaged. The detailed communication with me and homeshope 18 is follows:

The mobile I purchased got damaged only after the completion of 6 months. The guarantee period was 6 months.

No need to switch off my mobiles. Mobile will automatically turns off when it desires (normally within 30-45 minutes)

Touch screen not working properly. If the screen is locked by mistake, then we have to remove the battery and then turn on.

Reliance and Aircel people denied to give the internet facility in my mobile because they are saying in 'China mobile' internet setting cannot be done.



You are requested not to send me any type of your news and promotional things.

Because.. I never want to buy or shop any product from you...

In your mail you have not mentioned anything about what will you do
after returning my mobile. So talked to your exeucutive today and she
says Home Shope 18 will only repair the set and will send back to me.

But I clearly telling one thing, I don't need non-branded mobile like
this. Because after 6 months this type of sets will show probelms and
Home Shope 18 will not responsible for that. More over spare parts for
this mobile is not available in markets, and what ever is available

facing such problems (i.e. no bluetooth, bad sound, no PC connect, SIM
detecting problem, low quqlity cable and everything). He also
purchased the set from a chiniese mobile shope for Rs.3200/- three
months ago.

Sir I am totally fed up with your set. Because of my ignorance I
purchased your set. At the time of purchase I thought only about you,
trusted you. But you have mis guided me through your TV program.

So I request you not to repair this set or replace it with a
non-branded one. It will be appreciated if you replace the same with a
branded one. Hope you will understand the situation and will do the
needful.

You have sent me the worst mobile in the world. I was ignorant that you sell Chinese mobile in the market. The set I received is a last quality one.
The charger cable of the set is such a low quality product, we have to care it like an infant. Because on the first day when I removed the cable from set it became two parts. Then I checked the inner part of cable and found that wires used in it are low and cheap type. After that I decided to purchase one from market I could not find in any mobile shop. Then I was told by somebody, there is shop where Chinese mobiles and its parts are sold. I reached there and purchased a new one costing Rs.175/- (Note that Nokia charger is available in the Market @ Rs.90/-). And I had to purchase 3 extra cable from this shop because they also sell the same quality.
More over, this set cannot be connected with PC. When we connect the same to PC USB the set will only get charged. We cannot store any file into it. And till date Bluetooth is not activated. When ever we ‘power on’ blue tooth, it always shows ‘Bluetooth is initializing, please wait’ and after 10 sec it will disappear to the front screen.

When we dial ‘*#06#’ it will shows the IMI no. But often I cannot make a call and when we check the sim status it shows ‘Invalid SIM’. Then what does this IMI No. mean. Now I have to remove the SIM and put the same in some other mobile, then put the SIM again into the set. Now it will work for 8-9 hours.
The sound clarity is so bad like some is scratching metals on the rock. At the time of talking we cannot use headset. If it is used neither we can speak nor listen. So no use of head set.

I totally fed up with your product. I request you not to sell this product in market or please mention in your ‘TV show’ that this is a ‘Chinese Mobile’.

Home Shop 18 — non receipt of dvd sent for repairs

I purchased DVD player thru. Home shop 18 & when it suddenly stopped functioning , I sent it for repairs to Delhi as per the instructions of their customer care division. Surprisingly till date , I have neither received my DVD player back nor any feedback.I hv evenwarned them about consumer court but till date nothing hv been done frm their side. If I knw that Home shop 18 is not so reliable company, I would hv never purchased anything frm them. Regards. PRASHANT
