[Resolved]  HP Laptops — Reg: Hp Redemption Cell , gift offer

we want to know that i had brought a laptop compaq CQ40-108TU on 25th january 2009. wheather it has the free gifts(promotions) or not.

I have also purchased Compaq PresarioCQ40-108TU on 13th January 2009 from Impact computer Jaipur. and at that time they were offering Kodak Digital camera on it.for which customer need to send CHEAQUE payable at PAR of Rs 1299 to HP redemption cell, and according to HP redemption cell, they would take 6 weeks to process any request, but still i haven't recieved my Kodak Digital camera or any acknowledgment message from their side and it has been almost 23 days since i have send all the mentioned document and PAR CHEAQUE of Rs 1299 to them, and i have tried HP redemtion cell phone no.[protected] several times but no one has picked up the the phone.

I have the HP 520 laptop. This laptop was provided to me by my institute (ICRI) in the month of August, 2008. The laptop worked fine initially, but then in the month of November i faced this problem - my laptop wouldn't start. I went with the laptop to Simtech Computronics, Saki Naka, Mumbai (authorized HP centre), there they told me that there was a problem in the laptop's motherboard and they replaced it.
However, in the month of January I faced the same problem again, this time too the motherboard of the laptop was replaced, (how can a brand new motherboard become defective? not once, but twice).
I collected my laptop after it was repaired, it was working fine, but just after 3 days I faced an issue with the battery. Now the system doesn't detect the battery. When I try to start the laptop on battery, it doesn't start, but it starts when I connect the power-cable to it. the battery is of no use now.
I have faced these issues over a short period of 3 months.
My laptop is still under warrenty.
Each time I face a problem with the laptop, I have to take it all the way from Mira Road (Mumbai), to Andheri (Mumbai). It is quite hectic for me.
I am seeking a long-term solution with regards to this laptop, or better if i get a replacement for this laptop.
What reliability does HP offer to its consumers?
I would like to know what are the steps you plan to take with regard to this case.

i have purchase hp dv6907tx laptop from 103, mudhuban 55, nehru place, new delhi.At that time hp was offering kodak digicam with it.It was told that customers will get their digicam within 6 weeks for this we have to send DD of 990 along with all the document, which i send.I have called many time on[protected] but no one pick up hte phone.I have purchase this laptop on 23 sep 2008, but i haven't recieve my digicam yet.I m really very disappointed with hp.
i hope that i will soon recieve my digicam...

I purchaged two laptops during digicam offer & registered my laptop

I am also sailling in the same boat. I have also purchased a laptop on 31/12/08. Sent a cheque of Rs 1299/- with other document on 03 jan 08.Also registered on net to hp redemption cell vide code no. of this promos No.SKQ4JQG1BO. but no reply came till date. Atleast company should give the acknowledgement by post/email.

ya i m totally not satisfied with the response of hp towards its customers. it had been about 100days when i had sent my dd of 990 for the offer of digital camera of kodak.actually i have purchased my laptop dv 2910tx from life computers, durgakund, varanasi on 25th of october but till now i have not got my camera my redemption code is F2TXXEP5N3 . so it will be kind to get quick response from on this subject my phone no is [protected].
