[Resolved]  Hul - Pureit — PUREIT OR IMPUREIT??

I have been with this product, ever since it was launched, in Chennai probably and have been regularly and timely replacing the battery as per the indications I get in the battery gadget.I am getting impure water at times, settling down , at the bottom of the filtered water compartment. Since the Tap is kept at a few inches high these sediments do not come out, since the unit is not getting disturbed ever.I made a similar hue and cry last your through your site and Indian consumer complaints.com and I got a call from a senior man from HLL chennai looking after Pureit and sent his senior technician to attend the problem. At that time he cleaned the unit and said some dust is bound to be collected as some construction work was going on. Like a fool , I believed to be true and proceeded by putting a cover over the top unit of the filter. Despite all these careful handling, I find the above dust sediments, not suggesting a pure water, as the brand name goes. I already told Pureit to stop their Ad throwing a Rs.1 Crore Challenge.Let them get their Pureit perform well, in terms of quality of water, than standing a competitor to other sophisticated gadget manufacturers , in the market.I am sending a request simultaneously to Pureit to have the defect removed.Moral of the story: Don’t be carried away by Ad. Unless you use the product yourself, you will never come to know of the truth.
