[Resolved]  ICICI Bank Salary Account — Icici bank salary account funds frozen

Dear Sir/ Madame;

Kindly note my complaint is against icici bank for unlawfuly action on my account no:[protected].

Kindly note this particular account has been marked with a negative balance of Rs 19, 600/- as on July 2009, with the reason that my Icici micro loan of loan no: LIMUM [protected], amount of Rs 19, 000 is duw on it.

Kindly note my Icici micro laon of the number as above had been taken on another Icic account not at all linked to this account & that particular loan stands settled with Full and final settlement of Rs 27, 000/- in Feb 2009, of the settlement referancce no: DSMG/ MBL/ 0209/ 2179, settlement letter issued by icici bank dated 27th Feb 2009, with cash payment of the agreed settlement of Rs 27, 000/- by Icici receipt no: L[protected], wherein Rs 27, 000/- was paid in cash in Feb 2009 as agreed in the settlement.

Now Icici bank has frozen my account with a negative balance of Rs 19, 600, which I am hereby disputing and presenting to you to investigate and compensate me from the bank for the inconvenience casued to me on the following grounds:

1stly I have not authorised Icici bank to link my salary account and laon account, and they stand as seperate entities in my operations so on whose authority has this action been done, clearly I have not authorised such action.

2ndly my micro loan stands settled as on Feb 2009, which can be cross verified by the bank as per the documenst in my custody and payment receipts, so what is the facts behind such untoward incident which has caused me great inconvenience as clearly as per the Indian judicial law, despite settling a laon account, without prior checking and intimating it customer Icici bank, who happens to be a leading banking authority is India, indulges in unlwfuly and unjudicial actions such as above.

3rdly shouldn't the customers be intimated on any such action, as per the RBI diercetives?

4thly can a bank such as Icici be trusted with our hard earned money, as the fact reamins Icici bank has indulged in unlwaful practices that it is notorious for.

I rely on the fair assesment and evaluation of this matter in the hands of Indian judicial system and I wish to bring this matter to consumers attention so that no banking authority indulges in such unlawful actions as Icici bank has indulged in.

I have full trust on the indian consumer board to take my complaint further.

My name is shadab hasan khan, this account of mine was open in 2006 as a salary account. Just after one month i left that company. i was sent a mailer that this account will be converted to a savings account so i kept the minimum balance . the account was dormant for a while and few days ago when i went to close my account i was told the account has been frozen, and i will have to contact the branch where the account was opened. the branch told me in order to make this account active i have to resubmit my details, identity, address proof, fill in form and give an application regarding that. i have already done that on 30th august 2008 .Nothing has happened till date even after submitting my complaint my mail i received their confirmation that it will be done... within 4 days its the fifth day since their last mail...

ICICI Bank — Account Frozen

My account was frozen few months ago, I wanted to unfreeze it so i can close it . Even after submitting all the information on 30 august 2008 i was told that my account will be active within 5 working days. After 2 weeks from inquiring here and there... i found out my request was not given for processing before 15 September (because may be the girl i gave it to forgot and went on a leave). even after my request was given for processing and i was told that my account will be active within 4 days it didn't happen. i wrote them a mail again then i found out it will be done on 22 September 2008. today is 23 September 2008, its still frozen and i cant close this account until it comes out of the frozen state ... next month may be they will deduct some hefty amount for not keeping the minimum balance in the account.
This is the height of bad service. you cant complaint on customer care about any branch. you cant complaint to a branch about another branch . the only thing they revert back is for mail.

ICICI Bank — Bank has frozen my account without proper verification

Sir,

Few days back ICICI bank has freezed my bank account[protected] without prior intimation.
There reason they stated that the PAN number provided by me is invalid.
After that i confirmed that my PAN number(AKWPG7936K) is updated properly in ICICI database. I have also given a copy of my PAN card, but still my account is locked.

Its a simple harassment of customer since i even cannot withdraw my own money from the account.

Request you to do the needful.

i have sent mail 2 times but i didnt get any responce so want to know where i can get responce other
wise i have to approch any where else becuase i am suffering from financial problem because they are not activating my salalry account and they asking every time 4 working day .when i called to agent who has collected docs from me he said its in process at RPC so cant comitt any thing its realy bad experiance with this type of bank...

I have been an icici customer for over 3 years, I have 2 savings accounts, 1 salary account, 2 loans and one credit card with a cash in select advance on it.

I was unable to pay 3 consecutive emi’s of my cash in select account no.[protected] due to some financial problems however I still continued to pay my credit cards and my other loans on time without any default, I understand that I was supposed to pay my cash in select emi’s also because of which the bank leaned the following of my accounts

1.salary account no.[protected]

2.savings account no.[protected]

First of all the bank leaned my account without any prior info I did not receive any letter nor any phone calls so I called the call center no. and they said that if I pay my due emi’s along with the late payment and finance charges the lean from my account will be removed so as per their commitment I paid rs.4000 cash and I gave a debit note of rs.11474 to clear of the pending emi’s and get my account back in order, I was promised by the call center staff that after I pay all the pending dues and get my account back in order my accounts will be released in 3 working days but its been a month now and I am unable to use my accounts and now the bank is forcing me to preclose the cash in select loan which I m financially incapable of right now however I have paid all the pending emi’s and I m looking to pay all the remaining emi’s on time but no one is helping me.



If you check your database I have two loan accounts with icici bank which are as follows

1.LPDEL[protected] – 48 EMIS out of which 44 are timely paid 4 remaining

2.LPDEL[protected] – 36 EMIS out of which 26 are timely paid 10 remaining



Even with customer’s who pay their due’s in time the bank is behaving in this way does not seem like no.1 bank which you guys claim to be



Kindly get back to me as soon as possible so I can discuss my grievance and agree on a solution with mutual understanding

ICICI Bank — not resolving my problem, freeze account without any prior intimation

i have been saying that i have never taken loan or any type of due relation with ICICI. Even my PAN card is registered in DTI. if you find any type of dues relation then please disclose . everytime i am going to ICICI they ask for te due relation which i never had with icici. put yourself in my shoe in feel the harrasment and tension i am feeling due to this . yesterday when i talked to my HR she told me settle it down as soon as possible . i dont undersatnd what to settle and what to clarify , i have told ICICI to show me the document which points me about the guilty . if i find myself guilty i will pay any amount . but if there is nothing why a common man is getting so trouble. I have my account in india's biggest bank SBI and PNB where i have submitted the same PAN card , i have Airtel and rellaince broadband connection which i have got by submitting the same PAN card . then it indictes that there is no significance that my PAN card or my birth date or anything mentioned in my identity proff is wrong . As per the 2nd reason that i may would have any dues with ICICI. i can say that i have never involve myself in such antisocial work. if ICICI bank really feels that i am guilty then i have right to get the information about the particular dues which your bank is pointing and which has lead to debit freeze. puting alligation is simple but proving is hard . i am in dilema i need to have salary account of ICICI for salary transaction. Being a private bank if you treat your customer in such a way that then are you sure i will allow any of my coleague , family member or myself to have any finacial or bank relation wit ICICI .word of mouth is the fastest mode of communciation, i am a masters in business administration . i undersatnd the basic of banking and wealth management , i undersatnd the KYC . but today i am really feeling why your reputation is not as such HDFC , SBI or HSBC. you need to have tyranspirancy in your system and provide satisfaction to your customer and allow them to experince your service . this will help you to be the top bank in india , otherwise i dont think i would ever allow myself to with ICICI , if my problem is not resolved as soon as possible. this is the fourth time i am sending you all the mail . and see you are still not able to find the reason why my account has got freezed up. this is directly a question on your quality srvice, qulaity means less complaint more positive feeedback from cutomer . i have never threted you all or made any scene in your bank beacuse i always give my client to serve me well and satisfies me with their service which i do same in my company ,
