[Resolved]  IDBI Deep Discount Bond - 96 — Redemption of Deep Discount Bond-96

I am in possession of a Deep Discount Bond [Folio No. FDDB 1431762, Certificate No. 01488943] for a face value of Rs. 5300/-. How much amount I will get after surrendering the Bond.

Dear Sir/Madam,
This is the complain referring to IDBI Deep Discount Bond 96 bearing Folio No-FDDB 1020120, Certificate No[protected], Distinctive No[protected] procured by my deceased husband Surya Kumar Nayak, At-Thana Road, Bhadrak, Odisha.
I Basantilata Nayak, the spouse of late Surya Kumar Nayak the nominee of the aforesaid Bond tried to contact at IDBI Bank, Bhadrak regarding its claim, But M/s IDBI Bank neither helped me to sort out my query nor provided me the valuable guideline.Then having come to know from my well-wishers, I tried to ring Karvy Computer Share Pvt. Ltd, Hyderabad on [protected] & Toll free no:-[protected], but the from the first one contact no, I did never get response . Moreover, I asked for the concern mail ID for which I want to have written communication prior to send the original Bond.But they denied to provide any official mail ID.

But, now the question is prior to have any written response, how can I send my original bond to the aforesaid document, lest they might plea that they have not received . Kindly look in to this matter and advise me what to do for the claim amount of the aforesaid Bond.

Dear Sir,
I had made the investment in the IDBI bank in deep discount bond. The policy was that after the investment of 5’300 in 1996
I would get a matured sum of Rs 10’000/- in the year 2000 on 1st of august., Sum of Rs :- 25’000/- in the year 2006 on 1st December., Sum of Rs:- 50’000/- in the year 2011 on 1st September., Sum of Rs :- 1’00’000/- in the year 2016 on 1st june., sum of Rs :-- 2’00’000/- in the year 2021 on 1st april.
However the company scrapped the policy on 1st August 2000 & they did not send any intimation at my address. A friend on 12th May 2008
informed me that this bond had been discontinued. On checking with the bank on 16th May 2017 they have sent me a cheque of Rs 10, 000/-only on 5th June 2008
Request you to advise the bank to at least give me the interest on my money which was with them till May 2017
They should at least pay the interest on the money which was with the bank till 2008 ie. 8 years.
The bank did not intimate me so they should at least pay the interest at the bank rate. I have written to the bank on 16 May 2016 also,
enclosing the photo copy of the letter.
