[Resolved]  Idea Cellular Ltd — Cheating and Harassment by Idea

This Complaint is an eye opener for those who believe on brand name and accept the words and promises of their executive.
Yes Idea Cellular also does not care its image and go to any extent to cheat the innocent clients.

One Ms Monica Mob No. [protected]/[protected] called me few days back and offered to port my Mob Number to their network Idea Cellular.
She called several times on daily basis and let me waited for 5 days to see an executive to collect the paper and cheque.
By the time validity of my phone expired.
I asked Monica clearly if she can still help me or I should continue with my operator.
This time she asked another Rs. 50 cash to first activate the number and then port for which Rs 50 was the charge which was also refundable in first bill.
I paid the executive both the amount.
After that Monica is not responding.
I asked Idea Cellular to register a complaint. The executive felt I am cheated but they doesn't have system to register a complain.
I request you to give this message proper waitage to aware others of such cheating.
I feel cheated and so much harassed as my number is inactive now for last 7 days.
Please help me find a solution or otherwise I will file a Criminal Case for Cheating and Harassment.

Idea Cellular — cheating and harrasement

I recharged my phone (no. [protected]) using the ideacellular website and successfully paid the amount through my kotak account( bank transaction reference no is [protected]). But afte more that 40 hrs they have not credited my talk time in my account. I repeatedly complained about this to their customer care email id and even nodal officer but no one is even replying. none of their customer care no. viz. 2222, 4444, [protected] are giving you any way to contact to their CCE.
This is a cheating in terms of money and harrasement. Please tell me what the hardest of the actions i can take against them for such irresponsible working.

Hello Sir,



This mail is regarding the problem I am facing from IDEA cellular side and above that all your addressing mechanism(2222, 4444, [protected]) are not providing any link to customer care executive. I wrote 2 mails regarding this problem but no one is bothered to address the issue. Such a bad experience I am having with idea for the first time, I am a regular user of idea but now seeing such a pathetic approach of your organization I have to think otherwise. Below is the mail I sent today and I am also forwarding you the second mail which I sent yesterday. But till now no response no message whatsoever from your side.

None of your no is providing any link to CCE so how can one be able to complaint. This is my last mail after this mail I have to look for other options against the harassment caused by ideacellular services.

Idea Cellular Ltd. — Criminal harassment

Here with I would like to bring in your notice following complaint against a leading Mobile Service Provider of India namely Idea cellular limited

I lost my Idea SIM Card carrying Mob No. [protected] on 20th December 2009.
Though Idea acknowledge (Reference No. [protected] for SIM card lost against Idea Mobile Number [protected], I never received any duplicate SIM card from !dea.
Lastly I'd to personally visit Idea office to get one (On 21st January 2010). I used Idea Mobile Number for few more days till my new number from other service provider became functional, thereafter i did not used Idea number.

Then I was constantly being bugged by Idea's 3rd Party Collection Agency's Agents for payment, despite giving ‘em an explanation and assurance to pay up over due amount (deducting period of service suspension) at the earliest. They kept on flooding calls during Office Hours and even Weekends. They even started making unsolicited and offensive calls to each and every person with whom I spoke in last couple of months from my call list. Agency’s executives’re utterly impolite and used derogatory words during conversation.


I owe an explanation and apology from !dea cellular service company.

How could !dea pass on call details of a customer to 3rd Party Agency without his/her consent ?
How could !dea instruct 3 Party Agents to humiliate, offend and traumatize customer and customers family and friends for payment?

They even told one of my relative that "I passed out". This certainly created panic and trauma to people I'm related to,

I strongly oppose such nuisance from !dea and associated 3rd Party Agency calling on behalf of !dea cellualar service and sincerely request !dea to prohibit such unprofessional agencies from communicating with me or any person for call list in future.

Besides my image of Idea cellular service certainly got tarnished on the wake of above events and I wouldn't like to continue my association with Idea.

I've posted following grievence in consumer complaint forum to forbid such traumatic telecallers and unethical business flourishing around such menace.

Their unethical and criminal behaviour includes:-

1. They called up my relatives in my home town and told then that i have "expired"

2. They called up my office colleauge's and lie to them that they are calling from some credit card company/courier company and ask my friends to urge me to make payments, they never called my own cell number, they use to call my friends from following number:- [protected]

3. None of my email requests to Idea cellular delhi has been responded back till now

I strongly urge people not to buy Idea mobile services, this may lead to your pre-mature death in front of your family members and you do not have any privacy as they make calls to your friends from your call list.

Extracting call details without my knowledge is a criminal breat of trust, and is a criminal breach of my privacy.

Kindly advice me as how to move ahead against this dis-honest business group.

Last month i complian on reliance communication in consumer court but no one take action on reliance communication still i have facing same problem please take action on reliance communication as soon as possible

Idea Cellular Limited — Harrassment of their customers

Bill no. [protected] dated 10.3.2011 was paid through cheque no. 994629, but it unfortunately bounced. Therefore an immediate payment was done through credit card. For this this IDEA people immediately deactivated the servicea for a moanth or so without any information. On dialing them 5-6 times they respondedand told that we have to pay Rs. 200/ extra for bouncing of cheque. On our request that the services should be terminated they told us that we are NOT required to pay anything extra. But to our surprise in the next bill they sent us they had added 200/ extra. IN OTHER WORDS THEY DO NOT KEEP TO THEIR SPOKEN WORDS. On my requesting them that the extra payment should be adjusted in my forthcoming bill I have received no reply from them since 20th April 2011 exept that " Dear Idea Customer,

Idea Cellular — Harassment

Hi,

Idea cellular has been harassing me for the non payment of my sister's account and also harassing her friends and relatives.

They have been abusing on the phone and say that they are calling from the collections department.
