I have a ICICI credit card for the past 6 years and recently ICICI transferred the reward points to a unknown company called Imint without any notice.I redeemed all the points and the company has not delivered any thing promised till date.Repeated calls and mails go unanswered.The call center no. is always on pre recorded mode and no one responds.The company looks like a modern day fraud and people should be wary of dealing with such companies.ICICI bank conveniently washes off their hand saying Imint has all reward program details.
This is to inform that i had a bad experience with ICICI bank Cr card Division.
I always pay the amount before the due date. But last week the cheque which i paid was not reflected in my account details. I called the customer service and reported the problem. Also i gave the cheque number, date and the ATM where i dropped my cheque for credit card payment. My due date was 16/7/2008. but i dropped the cheque on 07/07/2008 and it was debited from my savings account on 10/07/2008. i was calling ICICI customer care service everyday on this nuy didn't get proper response. One day they said it happened due to technical problem. But the next day they have charged Rs. 280 as interest saying that i didnt paid the amount before the due date which i paid before the due date, also they have auto debited Rs.56 from my savings account. Luckily i have a saving account in which i can have zero balance. otherwise they would have fined me saying that i didn't maintain balance. Don't know whom to contact on this.
Who will take action against them for cheating the customers?
whenever we find them cheating they say technical problem. Decided to stop my relationship with this bank.
I agree with you Gridhar they are not at all responding to the calls that we make I have a suggestion when you call the customer care get your complaint registered and ask for the number and second time ask for Saha or Ali they are the floor managers get a hold of them and put pressure. One thing is for sure they are not at all responsive
ICICI cheating the customers by making false promises about refunds - ICICI Credit Card
Please be aware of ICICI credit cards, my cards was charged for late payment fee for the months of April, May, June and July and in all of these occasions I had called up the ICICI customer care to request the refund and in all of these occasions I was told was customer care that they have placed the request for refund and it will get reflected in the next statement.I have noticed in my credit card statement that NONE of these refunds have been actually made! When I called up the customer care again to check what happened they tell me that they didn't get any call from me for these refunds and refused to refund the late payment charged on my card.

I have not tried redeeming points at imint but i had a lot of issues getting them to send me the imint card etc. - took over 3 months. I too am amazed that a bank like ICICI has outsourced to a company like imint. Half the time, thier website does not work, their call center agents are extrememly unresponsive.
I have a I mint card given by Infosys BPO since last 1.5 years almost. Card Number is 9401 1508 0550 6606. Still not a single point is credited to my i mint account yet. when i raised this with HR team they advised me to send a screenshot of "0" points from the site.
Whenever i tried to open a site imintrewards.com( Same site on which i used to check my i mint point records since last 1 year) it is showing error and i am unable to send a screen shot also due to same.
I fully agree with Mr. Giridhars comments posted on the net. In my case also ICICI Bank transferred all my reward points to imint without any advise written or otherwise and in the process I lost about 1000 points. No amount of tel calls/messages to ICICI Bank and imint solicited any meaningful reply till I wrote to Mr KV Kamath, erstwhile CMD of ICICI Bank in January 2009. Only last week I have recd a sms from imint expressing regret for the mistake and advising me my current tally of reward points. Now I learn that imint do not even have a brochure of the gift items that are available against the reward points and one has to have internet facility to view and order the gifts. Fortunately I have it now but a lot many of the older generation are not computer-savvy or do not have net facility. What imint and ICICI propose to do about it?? In my case I have lost the original i mint card and have sent a email to imint to advise me the number and courier a duplicate card...let us see how long it takes for them to ACT. I ALSO STRONGLY FEEL THAT IT IS ICICI BANKS FAULT TO THROW US TO THE WOLVES, SO TO SPEAK AND BE AT THEIR MERCY IN THESE CUSTOMER-ORIENTED TIMES.
I completely agree with the complaints posted above, this sick customer service of I-mint points really get on my nerves and also they work on the limited hours and that too on a number which is not even toll free. They take really long hours to answer the query and infact they are not even aware what the customer is actually enquiring about. Secondly the website of Imint is one of the sickest website i've ever seen, whenever you try to login it says wrong password even the password received in the mail through imint when you choose forgot password option. Thirdly the products they show on the website, half of them are not available when you order for. Last time when i interacted with the customer service, they took more than an hour to address the query and why did i call them, i called them because of their mistake. The debited the points from my card without even notifying me and when i called them up, they are not even aware of the points being debited. Imint is the sickest company i have ever seen my life so far.

I ordered from imint, i got delivered within 4 days at my home, and the items what i ordered are really a original one and good. compare to other BANK cards ICICI bank doing good job for there customer to tied with IMINT . here i m very unhappy that all person commented wrong about ICICI Bank. if you have anyother Bank credit card then no one is giving this kind of 100% free branded gift against youy reward points.
