[Resolved]  Voter Identity Card — Incorrect address on voter cards

Sub: Printing of incorrect residential address in the Voter Identify Cards issued on 25.12.2008.

Ref: 1. Voter Identity card no RGB0029850 – Imam Khan - Self
2. Voter Identity card no RGB0029876 – Shubnam Sheikh- Wife
3. Voter Identity card no RGB0029892 – Sheikh Shadab- Son

Sirs,

I received the above referred three nos Voter Identity Cards on 17th Jan 2009 for self, my wife & son respectively. While submitting the application forms & subsequently corrected slip on 05.12.2008 at Sundernagar, I had mentioned the following address in the form/slip as per instructions given, at which presently I am living along with my family since 01.12.2002.

House no 92, Ward no 5, Chatrolkhari, Tehsil- Sundernagar, Distt- Mandi (HP).

In place of the above address the following address has been printed on the voter cards: - 112A, Haripur, Tehsil -Sundernagar, Distt- Mandi (HP), at which I am not residing.

In this regard I contacted on 24.01.2009 in the election office Sundernagar (behind SDM office). The concern official intimated me that this is as per available computer program & it can not be changed. In this regard I should contact Tehsildar (Election), D.C. Office, Mandi, Distt- Mandi (HP) office.

I therefore request concern officer to please look into the matter and arrange to correct my residential as highlighted above which is also mentioned in my family ration card.

Should any other enquiry for correction in the above address or any other formalities, I may please be intimated any time at given address/phone.
