Indane Gas — new connection

Dear sir,

This is Jambulingam from chennai, Tambaram.I try new connection with our Ration card. I enquiry in agency in tambaram (stella Agency). That people told, You fill the form and pay 1300(for deposit one cylinder and load), Next day they are asking around three thousand for total package. We are alredy having stove and we used cylinder from our uncle because of we get ration card after two years. Taht people told only who are purchase stove then only get new connetion. What are this cheat(they are do businees with stove not in gas), Please reply and provide new connection.

Really this is very bad.

I agree.. this is happening everywhere & is wrong.

New Gas connection has nothing to do with new burner purchase. I was told by the agency that a gas has to be accompanied by a burner, but If it would have been so, new burners available in market should be banned !!!

Its all a cheating & forceful selling !

This should be stopped.

I request the gas companies to look fwd on this & help

i am looking for a new connection in sector 5 gurgaon ,and as i visited your agency m/s sheetla gas on delhi road gurgaon ,mr arvind told me that new connections are closed for now and will start after 20th march 2008 and after applying after 20 march we will get the cylinder after 4 to 5 months off applying as previous orders of novenmber are still pending ,so can u help me out

I m staying in lado sarai.since two month i am trying for new connection in indane gas.last time i had gone there they are demanding for rent agreement for address proof. as soon i arrange it. today i had gone there they are saying that they are not providing gas connection on the behalf of rent agreement. Arrange other address proof like ration card, bank account & others

what is this?

please look in the matter and take necessary action

i have been visiting the SANGANER GAS AGENCY, 31/89A PRATAP NAGAR, SECTOR-3, JAIPUR for a new lpg connection inlast 3-4 months but eaach time there is no satisfactorily response...The agency is poor in customer caring...They refused me each time for availability of newngas connection...But more they did not give me any registration form...I dont think that GAS Company has asked distributor to accept any application...Tell me the right solution

So many times i request for gas connection but every time they gave me answer that there is no stock for new connection at there end .

I am also facing same problem with same agency Yadu Gas, Shahibabad. I had applied for new gas connection (without stove) on 13/07/2008 and still I have not recieve any information from them, everytime they are saying "we will send you a letter then only you will get a connection".

Pls do needful or let me know the procedure to file a case in consumer court against them.

I BOOKED FOR NEW CONNECTION WITH INDANE GAS AGENT 'PIMANS GAS AGENCY' AT ADIPUR, GUJARAT ON 02/11/2006. MY REGISTRATION SLIP NUMBER IS 16103. TILL DATE, I HAVE NOT BEEN GIVEN THE SUPPLY. 'PIMANS GAS AGENCY' IS TELLING ME SINCE LAST ONE YEAR THAT INDANE HAS STOPPED NEW SUPPLY. THEY TELL ME THAT I MAY GET SUPPLY ONLY AFTER ANOTHER ONE MONTH ONE MONTH ONE MONTH

I am working in Cognizant Technology solutions, Chennai, I approached a dealer in selaiyur ( near Tambaram East) for new gas connection by producing the bonafide certification received from my office for the address proof. Our company has the procedure of supplying the bonafide letter as a printed copy and mentioned clearly at the bottom as the certificate is the valid one once taken print out. But the dealer was refusing to accept the proof and saying that i should get the bonafide letter from the company signed in ink and with rubber seal. But when i approached my office, they informed that they issue the certificates in printed form and its acceptable at all the locations. Since we are newly married couple and living in a rental house, we are not able to produce other evidences for address proof. But the dealer is rudely refusing to accept the address proof and asking to produce other proofs or else shouting us not to register. We don't know what to do next? Please help on us whether the bonafide certificate received from the company in a printed form with clear acceptance from the company as the valid document will be accepted for the address proof or not?? I want to take new gas connection in new dlehi.Before here i have been in kolkata and had gas connection but while leaving i surrender the gas cylinder but i have gas pipe, regulator and oven. When i asked about new connection indane people told me that it is mandatory to take all these things while takeing new connection.I want to know IS IT NECESSARY TO TAKE AGAIN WHILE I HAVE ALL THINGS ALREADY?
If NO... then please let me know how much money i have to deposit apart from security i.e. 1400/= INR.
