non receipt of passport

I have applied for passport along with my wife in the year 8th sept 2010. The police verification is over on 7th dec 2010. On looking for status of my application in the passport india website. It shows the status as police verification is over on 07/02/2011. Even after one year is passed I have not received my passport. I have not received any firm answer from the official. I dont understand the delay please help me to get the passport at the earliest.

I have applied for passport . The police verification is over . On looking for status of my application in the passport india website. It shows the status as post police verification report is reqired.file is under process . Even after eight month is passed I have not received my passport. I have not received any firm answer from the official. I dont understand the delay please help me to get the passport at the earliest.
