[Resolved]  Indian Railways — Non refund of E-ticket cancellation amount

Respected sir,

A e- ticket of (booking code FMN031ODCUK) return journey from Lucknow to Howrah on 09/06/2009 by 3006/ASR HWH MAIL had been booked cancelled through my authorised travell agents BENGAL TRAVEL SERVICES from Kolkata due to delay of more than 11 hrs. of its schedule time. The PNR No: [protected] (transaction ID:[protected]) but more than six months have gone, its refund amount still not credited to my travel agent and naturally I can't collect my money . I have repeatatively argue with my travel agent but how they can refund me without realizing from your end ??????
My hmble request is to please look after about refund of my aforesaid ticket amount ( which is Rs.507/-) and do the needful as your earliest convenience.

Important Instruction
1. One of the passenger booked on an E-ticket is required to present any of the five identity cards noted below in original during the train journey and same will be accepted as a proof of identity failing which all the passengers will be treated as travelling without ticket and shall be dealt as per extant Railway Rules. Valid Ids:- Voter Identity Card / Passport / PAN Card / Driving License / Photo ID card issued by Central / State Govt. for their employees.
2. The accommodation booked is not transferable and is valid only if one of the ID card noted above is presented during the journey. The passenger should carry with him the Electronic Reservation Slip print out. In case the passenger does not carry the electronic reservation slip, a charge of Rs.50/- per ticket shall be recovered by the ticket checking staff and an excess fare ticket will be issued in lieu of that.
3. E-ticket cancellations are permitted through Via portal by the Via franchise before preparation of chart.
4. Just dial 139 from your landline, Mobile and CDMA phones for railway enquiries.

Additional Instruction
1. E-ticket passenger is permitted in the train against a berth/seat only when his name appears in the reservation chart failing which he can be treated as a passenger traveling without ticket.
2. E-ticket cannot be cancelled after chart preparation through internet.You are requested to contact the VIA franchise who can create a refund request at IRCTC, which will processed within 90 days.
3. If train is cancelled, E-ticket can be cancelled by VIA franchise upto 3 days from the date of departure of the train.
4. The compartment/cabin/coupe numbers for first ACC and first class will be allotted at the time of chart preparation.
5. For Train No. 2901 / 2902 (Gujarat Mail), Coach No. S2 to S6 will be attached / detached at Dadar
6. In case of 1-AC booking, Coach / Seat No. will be given at the time of charting.

i shivakumar, 34 age, booked e-ticket on 16 th april.
journey from H NIZAMUDDIN TO HYDERABAD
journey DATE 21/4/2009
STATUS = WL 1
CLASS 2A, AMOUNT 1720=00, PNR NO [protected],
TRANSACTION ID = [protected]
CHEQUE/REF NO=[protected]
When checked on 21 st still it was IN SAME STATUS= WL 1,
Then i cancelled my e-ticket on internet even that time chart was not prepared, but till now money was not refunded to my account.even cancellaion history confirms cancellation of e-ticket.
PLEASE CLARIFY, THEN WHAT NEXT.

e-ticket of Indian Railway — NON-REFUND OF AMOUNT DUE AFTER TICKET CANCELLATION

I cancelled one of my Railway e-ticket on 10 May 09 but no refund is given in the Bank account which I used for booking the on-line ticket. The amount is Rs.10, 000 plus. As per instruction for e-ticket cancellation the refund will be credited in the account which has been used for booking the ticket.

I had cancelled my e-ticket PNR No: [protected] for reservation in 2901 BDTS Garib Rath Express for the date 04/01/09; due to more than 6 hrs of delay in train departure time.

I was supposed to receive my refund within 90 days but have not received it till date.

Indian Railways — NON REFUND OF TICKET AMOUNT

Dear sir,
I have filed TDR on 3/12/2010 with ref. no-ekt[protected] about not travelled in train no-2872 Ispat express from Jharsuguda to Tatanagar .The PNR no. was [protected],eticket type having transaction id-[protected].But after 13 months the amount has not been refunded.After several reminders no fruitful result comeout.This shows the efficiency and justice for the service of rail towards there passenger.
This is for your information and necessary action at the earliest please.
