[Resolved]  Indiatimes Shopping — complaint against product purchased

i purchased e-phone through telli-calling.Reference no is-[protected]. after one and half month charger of mobile became non-operational & touch screen property of mobile starts malfunctioning.wen i contacted customercare they gave me a nonresponsive telephone no[protected] of dealer from where indiatimes ordered product.
my question is, indiatimes takes money from customer, so company should be responsible.this mobile is hardly of worth 5000 for which company charges 10, 000.even then, such a unproffestional & mean response ? if indiatimes continue to market such type o[censored]nbranded product credential of the comany would soon be lost.
we customer hope better service at least from big name.

A pathetic service has been provided by India times to me the packet was only a cartoon & no batteries were inside, I think some one of the courier company has taken it when the same was raised to him the courier guy went away .

I have raised a complain on this the no is 1112636. I am not sure when I will received my Sony batteries in good condition, that how India times is cheating their customers.
I think you might have clicked the submitt button twice at the time, when you entered the credit card details. It happens to lot of people. But after the complaint you should get the refund of the excess amt. I don't think this is the major problem. If you draw the attention of the authorities, then will be glad to assist you. Thank you.
I also have the same type of experience of INDIATIME's reluctant behaviour. I bought 5 items from Indiatimes shopping. And One of them delivered completely broken - it was an emergency light, "INALSA Emergency Light-Sunny" and the seller is Vishal Retail Ltd(102418). After repeated complaint Indiatimes Shopping Team just sent me an email stated that they cant do anything about it and I have to talk to the seller directly, and they provided 4 telephone number with.
But one of the number is Fax number, one of them does not exist - and the other two never attained.
I think everybody should stop buying things from Indiatimes immediately.
Whenever they call me it seems they are not ready to listen my problem - and whenever I try to tell them about it they tell me it is not their job but it is a job for customer care.
This shopping site is completely worthless and all the guys related with it are completely worthless and reluctant.
I had purchased one Videocon AC from India times Shopping portal but I am Extreamly un-satisfied by the product and the response which i had get from indiatimes shopping representatives.
The product which i had received is Wrong Product and even by complaining thrice no one had contact me regarding the same issue.
This is the 1st time when i am dealing with indiatimes and had been received such a Juvenal response.

This is my last Dealing with indiatimes shopping.

But this type of response is really not expected from well known name, INDIATIMES SHOPPING.

Indiatimes Shopping — Payment made / Wrong consignment received.

India Times Shopping delivered me a wrong consignment on C.O.D basis thro' their order no : 11738437 . My order was for Watches, total value of Rs, 749/- as per TOI Reader's offer, I received a parcel of different set of watches is valued at total Rs.599/-.I opened the parcel and found some of the items were even defective . Seeing the poor quality of their products and gross deficiency of customer service I have requested for full refund of Rs.749/- and arrange to collect their wrong consignment . To my surprise India Times is not even apologetic for the mistake . I PAID FOR THE PRODUCT I DID NOT WANT . Still no action is forthcoming - sad state of affairs, indeed .
IndiaTimes Customer Care do not respond properly w.r.t. my posting dated 14/08/09 wherein I requested for full refund of Rs.749/- for not delivering my order .They don't seem to read / understand / care about my complaints . Even my last order details are not posted in their website to avoid scrutiny . I request some high ranking authority to settle my complaint and take suitable action on the mistake committed and harassing a regular Bennett Coleman & Co. admirer . My order is pending for more than a MONTH and CASH ON DELIVERY has been made for the WRONG consignment .
India Times Shopping is not responding to any of my complaints about my order not yet executed . They have collected the cash on demand for the wrong order . At this rate I have to stop my subscriptions for quite a few Bennett Coleman & Co. publications - ALL THE READERS KINDLY NOTE . You wont get any reddressal from TIMES GROUP, specifically INDIATIMES SHOPPING .

Indiatimes Shopping — non-responsive attitude towards customer and non delivery of product

Very Pathetic attitude of Indiatimes shopping.

one should never go for shopping from them

Order a product costing about rs.18000 for marriage of my cousin as i was asured deliver within 5-7 days but till date not delivered and 10 days passed also when marriage took place

Customer care persons are very very non responsive always ask to wait never provide any reasons nor solving the problem. Off late started rejecting the phone calls.

Based on the advt. by indiatimes i placd an order on Indiatimes for GSM Spy Phone Device on 22nd Sept. 09 and paid the same online. Payment also confirmed by indiatimes.

There after almost a week i could not receiv a feedback from Indiatimes so logged in and checked so found that they shipped the material by blow mentioned details..

I checked with TNT courier and confirmed that there is no such docket numeber and and shipping details given are fake.

I spoke repetdly with indiatimes customer care but they were absolutely blank on this and were saying they will give me shpping detials.

I had put them several mails but i had not received a single reply to any of my mails form indiatimes shopping.

so i feel they took the money and cheating us giving no reposnce so would request to kindly take this mater and guide me so that i can at least avoid other shoppers of indiatimes from such kind of cheating.

Please note that I had purchased a product from indiatimes, the Order number being[protected] . On receiving the product on 06th Aug 2009, I found out thet it was of inferior quality and it also did not support MMC cards which the advertisement stated . Hence I called back and returned the product on 02nd Sept 2009, the AWB no is DO[protected]WW .Then I called back indiatimes and gave them the AWB n o and another request no was given to me 1224231 and i was promised that the cheque will be delivered within 11 working days . Today is 09th Oct 2009, till date I have not received the product also it is impossible to get through to a representative over phone as they keep on disconnecting the call after staying in the queue for 10 mins every time . Indiatimes is a hopeless company . I will recomment this to at least 100 friends of mine for sure, the reason for doing this is I have given several oppurtunities to solve my query but till date nothing has happened .
I booked a order through Indiatimes with order id[protected]. I am a regular customer & I am shocked to see the product delivered is not what I requested for. Please also refer the screenprint attached in this mail for getting an overview of the order booked. The order delivered is not upto the mark. The product that I booked has a good royal look whereas the oder shipped seems to be a local one. My question is - if you dont have the exact product that is ordered, why dont you refund the amount ?

Indiatimes Shopping — sony cyber shot camera not received

I have ordered a sony cybershot digital camera + 8GB spy pen 0n 15th sep 2009 the money from my account has been debited 0n 26th sep 2009 but product is not been received. 7104rupees has been already reached customer care no is not responding .
i recieved defective piece of spy pen .i talked to customer care of india times they promised to me that compny rep will contact me in 5 days nothing happen for one month. again i contacted customee care they informed me that co has send e mail to me infact i had not recieved any mail now whenever i try to contact them on phone wating endless hearing only that my call is valuable for them and executive will contact them shortly which never happen

I purchased a alfatel slider phone from india times shopping but with in 2 months this is not working properly. The india times shopping claiming the warranty or six months but done so many complaints they are not give me any response.

Indiatimes Shopping — For Cancelled order no refund provided

Dear Sir,

I had made a online purchase of Airtel Digital TV - DTH for Rs.940 through my Credit Card on Sept 7, 2009. Order number[protected]. However later they sent me a email, stating that the order was cancelled and you will get a refund in the way of gift certificate. After that till date I have not received a single Email from Indiatimes. I have sent them so many emails, but not a single reply. When I try to contact them through the customer care number, I get a fax tone. Please help me.
I totally agree with you. Not only are they unprofessional, they cheat people also. First they make you buy a product which attractively priced at a low price. Then they tell that the order is cancelled and you will be refunded with a gift certificate for which you have to buy something. Sometimes they dont send the gift certificate. The customer service phone gives a fax tone and your emails are not replied. INDIATIMES SHOPPING IS CHEATING PEOPLE.
