Internet — Internet Service Menace in Locality

Dear Sir,

I, the undersigned, just want some information regarding what are the standard tariffs followed for broadband network.
In my locality a broadband provider(i don't know the definition of broadband) is being charging 500 rs per month for 40 kbps o[censored]nlimited internet.
He is charging the same from the past 3 years and has neither increased the rates nor the download speed.
Personally i feel 500 Rs is not suitable for just 40 kbps of browsing speed.
so just wanted to know if there is any information available anywhere and if the provider doesn't meet the TRAI requirements what can be done to curb his monopoly.
I live at Dombivli East (Thane) in MIDC area.
Also there are rumors around that this particular provider doesn't allow other providers to come in his locality.
It would be very grateful of you if you tell me what action (if any) can be taken against him so that we have enjoy internet at its standard rate.

Internet — speed is very slow(between 25kbps to 29kbps)

my internet speed is very slow(between 25kbps to 29kbps). i want my internet speed above 200kbps. i just connect mtnl internet connection in new ports in my pc. Here our area many my friends have internet speed above 200kbps with plan 256kbps. i also have 256kbps plan. my phone No. 27619758. plz dont ignore my request to u. solve my problem.

my number has been changed from 25392461 to 28526461. In the meantime I have noted that the internet is working. In this connection I have made complaint at 1504 ( c no. 6400067 dt 9-3-2010 & 40200252 dt[protected] but till date internet is not working.

sir,
mera internet ka plane change kiya gaya bina kise information ke jiski baje se internet ka bill bahut jayada aa gaya hai airtel company ne pata nahi kis ke kahene per mera internet plane change kar diya jiski muje information bhi nahi di gayi mere internet plane ka bill humesa 650rs ka asspass aata hai
aur aaj tak na to bill dar se pay nahi kiya hai na koi complaint ki hai phir kisi ke bhi kahne per ye internet plane kaise change ho sakta hai

kabel is baar ye aug ka bill 1068rs ka aaya hai jise main pay nahi kar sakta
isliye main us bill ka payment karne main asmarth huuu..

haa main har baar ki tarah 650.rs tak pay karne ka liye tayar huu.. aur main isse jayada pay nahi kar sakta.....

sir maine airtel broad band connection liya hai and usme muje telephone b mila hai speed hai 256kb and plan hai699 ka and ab main same rate of cost pr speed double krwana chahta hun telephone remove krwate huye so plz as soon as possible ho ise hata den main isse pehle do bar iski complaint kr chauka hoon pr koi action nai liya gaya hai abi tak...

Internet — regarding the plan

on this no. outgoing calls have been deactivated and showing me some outstanding balance i don't know why???
even i had applied for 1 mbps plan of 499 but it shows me of 449 of 500 kbps..

please airtel solve this issue as earliest as possible..

Internet — not working

The internet is not working every 10 days for 5 days the technician would only come and rectify it this is only temporary again have to call many times and it woould be restored which is takeing a long time and keepng us wait for it and pay full amount at the end of the month
