Hi,

I hold a valid Airtel number - [protected] since May 2010 in Noida on my behalf only. Lately I have found that on account of "Hello tunes" or other fraud services, Airtel is deducting money from my prepaid balance. Most astonishingly the deduction comes automatically without even asking me whether I want it or not. They always keep sending unwanted messages which I don't even check at all. In one of such messages it is written that "Rs 30 have been deducted from your account on activation of hello tunes" which I never subscribed at all. In the recent incident I recharged my mobile on 3rd Dec, 2010 with Rs 50/= top-up (i.e., a prepaid balance of Rs 42) and despite not making even a single call or any other usage of phone, my balance today is zero on 13th December. I had several messages in my INBOX, in which one of the messages read as above "Rs 30 + Rs 10" have been deducted for "hello tunes" which I never subscribed at all. This is complete fraud service run by AIRTEL and I'm very sure that many innocent users are being charged falsely in a similar way. To top this situation, the most disgusting of all this service is the fact that I can't even talk to the "Customer care"in this case because it says that have insufficient balance to talk to the customer care. Imagine a situation when I had trusted of my balance and I needed to make an urgent call to customer care for some help,I would be left with no choice but to suffer at Airtel's cheating service.

Please address this issue at the earliest and I wish that a govt. law should enforce strict measures against these service providers for doing any unauthorized deduction from the account of a user. Hope to get the justice at the earliest.

Airtel — Unauthorized deduction of talk time

चोर है सब every thing is possible For Airtel, They are making money by cheating and worst ever customer care who have nothing to do with customers satisfaction, Me too was airtel user but now i wont back to them.

Airtel Connection — deduction of money from my account

On 7th March I received a message on my mobile that VAS package is activated on my mobile and Rs 99/- has been deducted from my account. But I did not subscribed for that. Moreover I do not even know what for this package is. When I talked to customer care executive Ms Pooja, she said this because of some technical mistake and will rectify this within 24 hr. Now, when I try to talk to customer care executive everytime they disconnect my call. I sent so many e-mails at [protected]@airtelindia.com but everytime I get recorded messaage taht within 72 hrs we will rectify it but nothing happens till now.

Airtel Prepaid with Airtel Live — Deduction of money without download

Quite often, I get Airtel service messages though I do not subsribe for those. Sometimes I click on the gmae related messages to retrieve and to my horror, money gets deducted from my prepaid account with an SMS saying "thanks for downloading java games and you have been deducted Rs. 50-/- " (at times Rs. 99). The worst part is that I have not downloaded anything at all and a call to customer care never helps.

Don't know how to resolve this.
These buggers steal, give our numbers to other advertisers and send loads of junk messages. !

Airtel Prepaid Connection — Money Deducted automatically

I went to Airtel Customer Care with an issue pertaining to prepaid connection that is when I make a call to unused mobile number automatically my amount gets deducted. The customer care response was not satisfied then I talked to Manager but she gave me a reference number which could not help me. I did phone call to nodal officer and appellate officer but they even did not lift there cell phones. Kindly take necessary action and acknowledge me, so that I can be great for your kindness

AirTel — unauthorized deduction from my account

Iam a new coustomer of Airtel (PH NO [protected]) I got a SMS today that to deduct an amount for the subscription of Airtel WAP service.I want to know how you activate that that service with out any requiest from me??????????

Airtel Prepaid Connection — unauthorized deduction of talktime

I am a septugenarian having one Airtel lifetime connection that I continue to utilize as and when required.

I gather that every month an amount of Rs.30/-(Thirty only) is being deducted from my account.I fail to understand why this amount is being deducted as because I have never ventured to avail any kind of facilities that calls for charges other than talktime.

Kindly help me get rid of this unnecessary deduction.

Dear Sir,

This is to inform you that I have a prepaid mobile connection from Airtel No. [protected]. Lately from 26th August 2009 I am having a problem with the balance on my account. My account is debited continuously on account of downloading songs and Subscribing to Hello Tunes without my knowledge or consent. I have never ever subscribed to Hello Tunes or downloaded any song on my number but these are getting activated on my number continuously. The sequence of events is as follows:

1. On 26th August 09 Bal on my mobile was Rs 114.79. At around 09.15 pm I received two sms stating that my acct has been debited Rs 15/- and Rs 30/- on for subscription to Hello Tunes and downloading song which I had never subscribed for. This brought my balance down to Rs 69.79. I spoke to Mr. Rahul at your Customer Service Dept at around 09.30 pm and he informed that this was happening due to technical error at your end; He also agreed to refund the debited amount back. The transaction Id for this was [protected]. He also deactivated the services of hello tunes after I tols him that this was activated without my consent or knowledge and I do not require these services.

2. On 27th August 09 my account was again debited for Rs 62/- for subscription to Hello tunes and downloading songs again without my knowledge and consent. This brought my balance down to Rs 7.79. I spoke to Mr. Ankit at your customer service dept at approx 11.00 am and he refunded back Rs 47/- online. Ref Id for this is [protected]. The balance was 54.79 now. I received a call from your airtel assuring that the balance amount of Rs 60/- will also be refunded approx around 12.35 am. Ankit confirmed he is deactivating the services of hello tunes from his end and I would not face any problems later.

3. Again on 27th August 09 my account got further debited for Rs 25/- at around approx 2.45 pm for subscription to Hello tunes and downloading songs again without my knowledge and consent bringing my balance down to 29.79. I spoke to Ms Bhavna at your customer service dept from your GK II Outlet and she refunded back Rs 30/- approx around 3.45 pm. bringing the balance upto 59.79.

4. Again at around 4.30 pm on 27th August 09 there was a further deduction of Rs 45/- for subscription to Hello tunes and downloading songs again without my knowledge and consent bringing my balance down to 14.79. I spoke to Mr Vinod at Customer Service Dept at around 6.50 pm the ref id for this is[protected].He also promised that he is deactivating the services of hello tunes.

5. In the morning of 28th Aug 09 I spoke to Mr. Akshan at customer service at around 10.15 am regarding deductions due to Hello Tune Preview Manager. He transferred the call to Mr. Tauseef who once again confirmed that Rs 60/- will be refunded on 28th August 09 and ref id for this is [protected]. He also agreed to refund Rs 45/- online. I told him there is no point since it will again get debited within 20 - 30 minutes automatically for this hello tune service and downloading songs again without my knowledge and consent. He assured it would not happen since he is deactivating the services. He also confirmed refunds will be done on 28th August 09 and ref id for this is [protected].

6. On 28th August refund of Rs 60/- was done by Airtel and I received a call at 01.20 pm for the same. I spoke to Mr. Rajesh Chauhan at your Customer Service at around 8.30 pm and got a refund of Rs 40/- . Ref Id for the same is [protected].



7. On 29th August 09 there was deductions once again on my account due to activation of News Pack once again without my knowledge or consent. I spoke to Mr. Mumtaz and Mr. Naren regarding this at around 9.45 am. They registered me once again for DO NOT DISTURB SERVICE although I had previously registered for it. I spoke to Mr. Sameer who is a Floor Incharge at your Customer Service and he refunded back the amount debited. The ref id for this is[protected]. This refunded brought my account balance to the correct amount.

8. But unfortunately again on the morning of 06th Sept 09 I found money deducted from account for subscribing to Pre Listen options once again without my knowledge and consent. I spoke to Mr. Shahbaz regarding this. The complaint id for this is[protected]. Again in the afternoon at around 2.00 pm there were further deductions and that is when I decided to visit your Gurgaon Sahara Mall Customer Service to sort this inspite of being very busy. I visited your Office at Sahara Mall and by then I found out there had been further continuous deductions on my acct when I checked my balance bringing my acct balance to Rs 9.79. In fact my balance got deducted while I was in your office in front of your personnel and I showed it to them. They could not give me any satisfactory solution to why this was happening automatically. I met Mr. Mohnish there and he refunded back Rs 100/- on my account saying that Airtel Live is getting activated in my acct. he also confirmed that he is deactivating the Services which were active and also showed me message regarding
that. There were no further deductions on 06th Aug 09 or 7th August Morning and Afternoon. I MUST POINT OUT HERE THAT THROUGHOUT THIS DURATION THE MOBILE WAS CONSTANTLY WITH ME AND SWITCHED OFF IN THE NIGHT OF 06TH AUG AND 07TH AUG. Again on 08th Aug morning I get a sms saying that Rs 15/- has been further deducted for downloading some song which I am not aware of without my knowledge and consent. I spoke to Mr Mohnish who had given me his mobile number [protected] and works at your Sahara Mall Outlet. He told me to contact Customer Service to speak regarding this. I called Customer Service at 10.10 am on 08th September 09 and spoke to Mr. Abhijit who confirmed that Airtel Live Services were still active on my acct inspite of Mr. Mohnish deactivating them on 06th Sep. And I had not subscribed for any AIRTEL ADDITIONAL SERVICES AND NEITHER DO I WISH TO SUBSCRIBE FOR THESE. Mr. Abhijit confirmed that this is happening due to technical fault at your end and agreed to refund the money that had got debited. The ref id for this is 08119275. I also spoke to Mr. Mohnish once again regarding this who insisted that this was happening due to my fault.

I am requesting you to kindly look into this matter and solve this once and for all because I am sick and tired of calling your Customer Service every second day regarding this and not getting any permanent solution about this. There is no point you refunding me the money and it again getting debited automatically. Hence I request you to kindly investigate my case with your Technical Department and give me a solution to this. I have been unable to contact your Technical Department inspite of trying numerous times. If you are unable to offer me a solution to this then I will be left with no other option but to cancel and discontinue my all other AIRTEL connections eg. Other mobile, landlines and Broadband.

I hope you will look into this matter and offer me a solution.

Airtel Prepaid — deduction from my account

Since July 2009 I have found that some amount is deducted regularly from my prepaid balance. My mobile no. is [protected]. On complaining to 121 I get the reply that some service is started on my mobile . I have never requested for any service any time. This has happened 4 times in last four months. The Airtel supervisor from cusomer service manages to refund the deducted money but the problem of deduction continued . Kindly do the needful so that the unnecessary deduction stops for ever.

I feel very harrasment by Airtel Hello Tune. Many times hello tune charges has been deducted from my account. Now on 07.10.2010 Rs.5/- has been deucted from my account for hello tune. I never tell for this. I am a 60 years old person I do not need any hellow tune. Kindly given hard instruction to your employee do not disturb me by offering any hello tune offer and never deduct any hello tune charges from my account. AirTel — Unauthorized deduction of Money

Hi,

Wanted to repost some serious Matter regarding the Unauthorized deduction of money from my Prepaid account. The deduction which does not even get recorded in their Bill


This is a Problem I have been facing for the last 3 Months.

I had switched from postpaid to prepaid connection 3 months (October 2nd) back and had availed Rs. 399 Plan Blackberry with unlimited Internet. The switching itself was a Very Painful incident which had to be sorted out with the intervention of the Nodal Officer, however this issue is not pertaining to it.

Few Days after this transition was done from Postpaid to Prepaid, mysteriously 30ps every half hour, Started getting deducted from my account. I called the Call center and as usual they were useless, then I mailed the Nodal officer, they replied stating I had used airtel live, I replied stating that I never subscribed for airtel live and moreover I pay Rs. 399 every month for BB internet.

They acknowledged their mistake and credited back some Rs. 23 (I am not sure if I received that also), and promised that I will not be charged henceforth and also asked me to deactivate by sending SMS to 121. I did that and also got a reply that it’s been successfully deactivated.

However the problem persisted and I started losing cash again (Post deactivating) and this time even faster (till today close to Rs. 500), I mailed the Nodal officer and have not got any reply for the last 2 weeks. However I am continuing to lose cash even now, and it has already put me in a lot of inconvenience.

Finally i had mailed the Applet officer and i got a reply that nothing is getting deducted and also they said that nothing is there in the Bill, That made me even more suspicious, So i asked them to send me the bill and then came a reply that i need to pat Rs. 50 for every month's Bill. i got furious, Why should i pay money to Airtel to point out their mistake, Finally after a lot of fighting they agreed to credit Rs.150 to get the 3 months Bill.

I got the Bill and then made my own analysis and Guess what i found, Airtel has deducted Rs. 568 till Dec 31st.

I mailed this workings to the Applet officer and they have NOT BOTHERED TO GET BACK TO ME.

I am left without any option but to take the legal recourse!!

Could you Help.

I never download anything from the stupid airtel website or use any sms services, then why am i charged rs20 and rs15 today and last month? I just get messages about weekly sub, tadkalive and java game download and the balance is gone. I don't even visit the airtel website.This is unbearable now, either you people correct this, that is stop deducting money unnecessarily or else i'll see to it that none my friends or relatives uses airtel ever again. Airtel did not ask to give me World Cup updates and start deducting money from my account and very bad customer service, because they call 25 times a day to their advertisements, but they take money to listen to their customer's problems. Very dis satisfied with the service.

Airtel has a tendency to deduct the money without asking consumer whether he asked for service or not. I am KS Shukla mobile No. [protected] Recharged my account with Rs. 444/- , by seeing the money in my account this airtel started its business and deducted RS. 15 for blog amitabh as it has done earlier also. My mobile No. is [protected]. This has taken place with regard to me also. On 11 May 11, airtel deducted Rs. 15/- towards Amitabh blog whereas I did not opt for the same. When I took this matter with airtel, incompetent people sitting in call centres raised their hands. They told me that I should talk to nodal officer and money will be charged towards this. For Rs. 15/-, at least Rs. 10/- will be charges while talking to him. What a rationale ?
My mobile No is [protected].Even after number of compliant to customer care.I have been charged 10 rupees for unwanted services like romance pack etc.On 18.4.2011 i was charged 10 rupee for romance pack, Again On 28.4.2011 i was charged and On 8.5.2011 I had conversation with nathan (customer care representative) regarding this.Again on 18.5.2011 i have charged Rs 10 for tis service.I never subcribed any pack even once so if these continues i like to withdraw from airtel and chosse any other operator.

Airtel — UNAUTHORIZED DEDUCTION OF MONEY BY AIRTEL

I have been repeatedly charged rs30/Month for "hello tunes" service and "airtel friendz

chat" for the past one month(about 3 times in my mobile number [protected] and many times in

my father's mobile number [protected]).The service gets automatically activated without our

consent.Some of the ways include :

1)an automated call from airtel advertising about hello tunes.Even if we cut the call the

service gets activated and rs30 is charged.
2)an sms from airtel informing us of airtel friendz chat activation and that we have been

charged for the service.

This is an outrageous behaviour and I demand that my money be refunded and further

compensation paid for the frustation and agitation caused by this.

Airtel — unauthorized money deduction

Airtel activated 2 services on my mobile, without my concern, when I ask them they said that it was activated from automated tele call . I haven't activated any service and they are deducting money from my balance and charging me for service which I have not activated and used.

    Dear sir,

    I have asked to charge my cell no. [protected] by paying Rs. 225/- under the scheme Rs. 225/- which balance for Rs. 204/- and the same got charged with Rs. 1 only vide Transation id no.[protected].

    The transation i have made from SP, Hoshangabad road, bhopal ([protected] shop keeper no.) on[protected]:41 hrs.

    I have requested the shopkeeper to talk to the customer care unit and i have received reply that i have been charged with Rs. 204 (which is wrong).

    Sir, kindly help me in the above matter and my cell can be charged with balance for Rs. 203 to my subject cell no. immediately for which i have paid the amount.

      Sir,

      I am Sajith kumar,I had purchased an airtel new SIM card for premium 1500 rs From Thrissur and the EMI number is:[protected] with Mobile number:[protected], I tried to activate the number but was getting error message the mobile number is not a valid prepaid number , after two days some one activated the number in Postpaid, How come is this possible. The grace period of the Prepaid sim is not yet over and somebody activated that number in postpaid, this is cheating, i called to the [protected] guy, and he is asking me 5000 rupees, how come this is possible the prepaid SIM is with me and it is activated in pospaid, I am hoping this problem get solved and to get the number any how

        There is a financial fraud group called gclub.in. Whenever you browse in your mobile, or play games you may see a advertisement scroll text saying for Rs.99 games gclub. Dont even try to click it ! If you click, you will be subscribed automatically with X amount and they will send you an sms saying Rs.99 deducted for downloading the games. Thats not at all. Without doing anything, you will again receive sms saying you have downloaded some stupid games and again charged Rs.99.

        Airtel seems to be supporting this Fraud. I expect 30-40 crore rupees of money is being looted by Airtel and Gclub.

        I am planning to sue them. Be aware of this guys. This is in the name of TadkaLive Service.

        My name is Aravind, I am using a postpaid connection with Airtel TN-Chennai region, One or twice in a month i m getting a message from TadkaLive. I dont know how is he or why is he sending message to me. I have never downloaded any games or played any games.

        I called Airtel customer care for the details after receiving the message. He mentioned I have not activated any service with the name TadkaLive, So i will not be charged.

        This is ridiculous! I was shocked on seeing my postpaid bill. That they have charged me 40 rp (+ 10% tax + 3% on the tax amount). And this has happened for 2-3 months continually. Airtel along with TadkaLive is Making Fraud. They are looting my money, without any usage. I m definitely would sue them, Make them pay for it in court.

This is second time its happening to me. i had also sent stop subscription sms. Inspite of that i have been subscribed to this site and lost money both for my sms and for the subscription. please stop this.

            AIR TEL HAVE CHANGED THEIR LOGO BUT THEIR POOR SERVICE REMAINS THE SAME.

            WE ARE GREETED EVERYWHERE WUTH HUGE NEWSPAPER ADS AND HOARDINGS AND WHEN WE CALL THE AIR TEL NUMBER WE ARE GREETED WITH A NICE MELODY TOO.

            BUT THERE ENDS THE MATTER AND THE NIGHTMARE FOR THE CONSUMER BEGINS.

            WE HAVE A 2 MBPS BROADBAND CONNECTION, HOWEVER THE NET CONNECTION IS SLOWER THAN A SNAIL.

            WHEN WE CALL 121 WE ARE TOLD TO CALL 198 AND WHEN WE CALL 198 WE ARE TOLD TO CALL 121. THIS IS PERHAPS THE DIRTIEST TRICK THAT ANYONE CAN PLAY ON A CUSTOMER.

            I AM CERTAIN THAT MY COMPLAINT WILL NOT BE ATTENDED TO IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS
            OR EVEN MONTHS BUT WHEN IT COMES TO BILLING AIRTEL IS THE FIRST TO MAKE REMINDER
            CALLS !!!

            CAN ANYONE HELP ME TO TAKE THIS MATTER UP WITH THE RELEVANT AUTHORITIES ?

            CAN ANYONE FORWARD THIS COMPALINT OF MINE TO SOMEONE RESPONSIBLE IN AIRTEL ?

              We M/s. Oscar Chemicals have a landline connection from Bharti Airtel vide our A/c. No. 12353389 with multiple Lines[protected]/98/99/100

              we had received wrong late fee charges from airtel last 05 Months, we are in constant follow up with their customer cair executive but nobady take this matter seriously n evertime they said we take your complaint and give waiver of late payment charges, but the said late payment charges charge in next month again. daily we waist our time 02-03 hours for airtel complaint and charges.

              we had talk with their executive named Mr. Abdul, Mr. Sandip, Mr. Bharat, Mr. Pradip, Mr. Praveen, Ms. Jasbeer Kaur, Ms. Savita, Ms. Safia, Ms. Ranjita, Mr. Chhabinath and they all have same answer that we take your complanit and giving you waiver of late fee charges. but they don't and the
              charges carry forward in next month bills.

              we hereby inform you that everymonth we pay our bills before due date by cheque and the payment shows in our monthly bank statment.

              we have suffring for this charges last 05 Months, so we hereby request you to help us.

                I have received SMS on 12/112/2010 night that " Thanks for Downloading McPack and i was charge for Rs 50-/ I have not requseted anything through internet or Sending SMS for this service and even i dont know what is the use of this Mcpack.
                Please revert my money back as soon as possible.I used to get these type o[censored]nwanted messages and that is also to be stopped from the AIRTEL

                I received sms from Airtel i.e. AD-54321 on 02/12/2010 at 6:05 pm. " Thanks for Downloading McPack form Airtel. You have been charged Rs. 50. You have been charged.Join games club at http://gclub.in".

                Actually I have not down loaded any such thing. If such thing was downloaded then it should show in my mobile. I have already sent sms for do not disturb and my reference no. is CPPWC[protected]. I have had very bad experience of such deduction from airtel before in near past. I will now have to approach Grahak Suraksha in Ahmedabad if I do not get this Rs. 50 credited to my balance till 12.00 on[protected].

                Awaiting your quick response or bear the consequences. I am also attaching herewith another person's suffering as your wrong doings are avaliable world wide on google.

                Today I received games club subscription message from AD 54321 just I accepted that one, within few seconds I got one more message like
                “Thanks for downloading MCPACK from Airtel. You have been charged Rs 99 ”.
                1. what is MCPACK ?
                2. what is this hidden charges
                please any one can tell me and I request to service provider (AIRTEL) please don’t do day time robbery from the customers

                  Pathetic Service by Airtel Digital TV

                  Recently I shifted to Mira Road (Happy Home heights – Poonam Garden), I called the Airtel executive (Pravin -[protected]) from Kaushik Enterprise (Andheri) and gave him 1590 Rs in one condition i.e. the connection will be done on the same day within 3 hrs. Pravin called his office and talked to Kavita [protected] ….Kavita assured me it will be done today in any condition.

                  As soon as Pravin left my place both pravin & kavita were not picking my calls, I called them 34 times yesterday. The Reason I was very irritated that Kavita/Pravin were not picking my Calls……….. I am aware Airtel takes 24hrs to provide the connection but my deal was done with a prior commitment of 3 hrs, Either the false commitment should not have been made or the connection should have been done. Atleast Kavita should have told me that it cannot be done today – Not picking the call is not right…Also they told me I would be given 18meters of wire , however today morning when a Airtel engineer called me & told me that I would be given only 15 meters as I come under Tier 1…whom should I believe Kavita or the engineer ???

                  Not answering to customers after taking the money is not good; this is one of my worst experiences with Airtlel Digital.
                  Making wrong commitments is not good service, indirectly these executives are spoiling the company’s brand name
                  Which information is correct, 18meter wire or 15meter?

                    Dear Sir,
                    I, NEMANI SATYA SRINIVAS, Mobile No.[protected] purchased at SANGEETHA -Amalapuram one month back and submitted my id proof, ad proof & Photograph. In the 1st week of December, my incoming and outgoing calls have been stopped and advised by the Airtel Customer Care to submit the proof docs again.
                    On 5th December, 2010, I have submitted the documents at Sangeetha Mobile Office, Amalapuram again as the Airtel Office people have rejected to take the proof documents since the Sangeetha People are purchasing the SIMs from your Airtel Office, Himayatnagar, Hyderabad.
                    Afterwards, I am regularly following up with your customer care people to activate my mobile by wasting my money, time etc., but in vain.
                    I hope you do not harass the customer and will do the needful immediately as I am suffering a lot by facing the communication problem.

                      I hv a complaint about Airtel services. I had changed my card many times. because each time they deduced some amount (unnecessarily) from my main balance. and if you called a customer care, then they keep telling dat "madam u must have activated some sevices dats y its happening" . and if you agreed(even if its not yur mistake ) and if you ask them to deactivate they will never do so.finally we need to quit all mater by throwing the Sim card in dustbin. it happened with my frnds also.

                      AirTel — Un necessary charges deducted

                      Dear Team,

                      I am again and again calling to your customer care for asking the un nesessary deduction happaning in my prepaid connection. But no solution has been provided. My number is [protected]

                      The customer care is not giving any satisfactory answer's. I am fad up with the charges. I have not activated any new service and same has been accepted from your call center and they have return back 20 rs in my account but still daily they are deducting 20 rs.

                      I want a quick solution for it. As i am unable to visit your customer care center many times. I am physically chellenged person. Working in MNC.

                        Sir, i am using prepaid airtel servive having no. [protected]. My outgoing call was 1 paise per second from airtel to airtel and 1.2 paise per second from airtel to any other provider. Suddenly my outgoing call charges gone high by 1 rupees and 1.5 rupees per minute wef 10 Dec 10. On 11 Dec 10 at 16:41:15 i received a message from airtel that your validity of airtel freedom plan has been extended by 90 days at no additional coast. I made a outgoing call having duration 09 minutes but the cost for the said duration was 15 rupees. I made a local call from airtel to aircel for 10 second and the charge was 01 rupees. I tryied so many times to talk with customer care executive but their service is so poor that i am not able to talk with them. On the whole i want my money back.

                          I opted for an Airtel Broadband connection and so i contacted the Airtel Marketing personal for connection. I paid him the amount as required by the plan for which i opted but somehow it couldn't get installed at my place and so i decided to cancel the registration and wanted my money to be refunded. But till date the money has not been refunded. I lodged a complain to the customer care executive and he told me that my cancellation request was submitted on[protected] and that my money will be refunded within 15 days from than. But now its almost a month and money has not been refunded.
                          I am very upset with their service and i just want to know how long will it take for my money to come to me.
                          sir i had internet connection in septenber 2007 but due to airtel service i cancelled tha connection and then customer care told that u got a check of 500 but i never get it .they always said come on tuesday, thursday etc .please take a action against them...

                          I have done deposit of 7500rs to facilitate the Roaming service from Airtel. For which am waiting for refund from past 9 month.. But no proper resolution provided by Airtel. Irrespective of their this behaviors I have been making the proper airtel monthly postpaid payment. But there is a limit and finally I lost my patient and stop paying the bill from the month of July cos of irresponsible behaviour from Airtel. And now they have deactivated my Airtel number. Now am totally frustrated. Am not ready to pay bill until i don’t get refund (Deposited amount is more than my outstanding.. I dont know what fear made them deactivalte my card). Anyone can help me?                           Airtel were not able to install their DTH as line of path was not available on 28-Apr-2010. They confirmed that refund would be given within 15 days into my account. I have followed up again and again and till today they have not given my refund.

                          I had booked airtel digital tv via telephone and had later made the full payment through credit card.Later on I found out that in my building we are not allowed to install any dth dish.When I contacted airtel they told me that as the digital tv was not installed I wouldd get the full money back.I provided them with various information about my connection then I was informed via phone and email that my money would be credited to my account in 7 days.2 weeks passed nothing happened.So I again complained and I had to go through the whole procedure again.Again on sunday 26/11/10 I was informed that my money would be credited in 1 week,but till date nothing has happened.So last night i mailed them that I am going to the consumer court regarding the same,but got no response.Their customer care executives just kept on saying that they are forwarding my complaint.I am tired of this drama,so I contacted my lawyer who told me to put up my complaint over here.He told me if they dont reply in 1 day I should go ahead with suing airtel.I a surprised to see such careless attitude of airtel.I warn every1 never book airtel digital tv I am also considering cancelling my airtel broadband after all this is over.

                          i had recharged my assam's prepaid sim with rs100 on 23rd of june wen i was in sikkim but i didn't get any talktime....though i received the message that my account had been recharged...
                          our airtel complaint no. 1875866/application no. 263224

                          We have applied for airtel broadband on 7th july 2011 to one of the airtel executive and paid Rs. 500/- on the same day. He told that some new server upgradation is going on, so you will be getting the connection on 11/7/2011 and out going calls will be activated from 15/07/2011. On 11th we called that executive Mr. Shivakumar regarding this and we were informed that still the process is going on, please wait for 2 days. Again after 2 days we called him, he told still it will take 2 more days and he will come and do the installation after 2 days. We waited then made a call again to him, he said some its over, our engineer will come today evening by 4 to 5 pm and do the installation. He didnt come. Next day we called and enquired about this, he said I am outside the office, after reaching I will check with the engineer and will give you a call. We waited. But no call. Then we called on the same day evening by 4 pm, he told he is on the way, he will be there by 6 pm. He didnt come. We called Mr. Shivakumar but he didnt pick his phone. Next day again we called, for 2 to 3 days he didnt attend our call. Then I think he forgot our number, so he attended the call on the fourth day by mistake. Then we asked him, why you are fooling us like this, he said no, defenitely tomorrow you will be getting it. Till 22nd this game was goi ng. Then we called airtel customer care and checked with the application no., and came to know that our application was rejected due to the reason that there is no feasibility in our area to connect airtel broadband (Mathikere, Bangalore) on 16/07/2011 and your amount will be refunded by way of cheque by courier within 10 working days from the date of rejection.
                          We waited upto 26/07/2011, we have not received the cheque. Then next day we called customer care and again gave all the details, they said the same details, and cheque will be sent to you.

                          After that on 28th July 2011, we called Mr. Shivakumar and asked about our application status. He said tomorrow the engineer will be coming and installing. We got frustrated with the airtel services and shouted him that yoiu are lying us, already we got the information from the customer care that it was rejected. Then he said no I have reapplied again for that connection with my own money, you can give me back after receiving your cheque from our company. Again we waited, but no use.

                          Then we called the customer care and spoken with Mr. Manjunath, manager, he said the same answer after half an hour discussing the big story as detailed above and with 8 to 10 working days you will be getting the cheque and disconnected the phone in the middle of the conversation. We waited till 16th August 2011, no response from the airtel, no cheque. 16th evening we called the customer care and gave the complaint no, they told please call after 2 hours as the server is down, we cant download your application. Then today i.e. 17th august we called one Ms. swetha attended the call and told that they could not trace the details of our application, we got angry and asked her to connect to the manager, but she said line is busy I will ask him to call you back, but we refused that and asked to connect her manager, but he connected to another executive Shiva, he again said that you will be getting a phone call from our manager within 2 hrs, i.e. now the time is 10.15 before 12.15 and if you didnt receive any call you can call to the direct no. [protected] to make a complaint. But we havent received any call from teh manager or even from the customer care. We called to the given no. to make a complaint buit no body was there to attend the call. We are verymuch disappointed with the airtel.

                          Is there any possibilty to get our refund amount back at any cost or it is waste of money, time and energy.

                          After making so many calls from mobile to airtel boradband customer care landline[protected], and wasting so much money only we are making the compliant.

                          When money is to be refunded it takes ages and can't part easily especially if it is others money. Been speaking to Airtel for a refund of Rs 955 for last 4 months. Each time they tell cheque sent by courier and addressee not found. Can't understand why only the Airtel courier does not get the addressee but every other snail mail gets delivered correctly without fail

                          I booked for airtel broadband connection in June 2011 and paid Rs.999. Without checking the possibility for broadband connection, the team got the amount. Then, the unit said that in the particular area, the connection could not been made and hence it was cancelled


                          I have received the cheque for the refund of amount Rs.999 for cancellation of broadband just 10 days back (During the 1st week of October), in which the name is printed as R. Govindanayagi instead of P. Govindanayagi. I made again a complaint immediately to solve the problem and resend the cheque for amount Rs. 999 with correct name. I have not received any response from the airtel still now.
                          I have port out of Airtel number [protected] to Vodafone. As per their bill after port out indicates refund of Rs.268. As per Airtel it will take 60 days.

                          I fail to under stand that if my bill is pending after port out, it has to be paid immediately while refund they say 60 days. Please explain.

                          on 24th of Jan 13, we had requested for Landline + broadband connection with Airtel and filled the form & gave 2 cheques for Rs. 2600/- & 3500/-. But after 3 days we got a call from Airtel, saying no feasibility, hence no connection can be given they said and we lost the form in the process of shifting the office. But for our surprise the cheque bearing number 431692 issued in favor of Bharti Airtel Ltd for rs. 2600/- got cleared from our account on 14.02.13. When we approached customer care for refund they said without form refund cannot be done. Now our concern is without being able to provide services, how can a company like Airtel can withdraw amount and how can they say without form they cannot refund?                           Before 2 months I have recharged 256 on my airtel number via netbanking before the transactions had failed and it told that it will refund my money in 1 week and no any refund till today airtel company have stolen my money I called many times to the executives they stupid told call after some time...i also complained in airtel forum they gave reference number [PR[protected]] and will contact in 2 hours...but till they didn't call me ...
                          my no is [protected] i am changed this no postpaid to prepaid, at that time i am paid additional amount to this number, your representatives tell me that it will refunded after 6 months, but till now i can t get, please check the details and inform me.if i am not satisfied i will cancel your connection
                          On 13/06/2015, i tried to recharge Rs60 by using sms banking..Rs 60 had been deducted from my account but the recharge was not done...the details are given below.

                            Got a call from [protected] that my mobile number has been selected/won a cash pize for a for an amount of 10.5 Lacs and person was speaking in Hindi and congratulated 3-4 times and asked what's the account number the money can be transferred.

                            These guys are in a way tarnishng the Image of Airtel by using there name. Hope Airtel makes right move to stop these spurious calls or may be track and ban calls originating from these numbers.

                              I have two prepaid mobiles bearing no [protected] and [protected] since @ 10 years back. I have submitted all necessary documents for both the numbers as required for verification by Airetl services on 4th Dec 2010 at my nearest airtel outlet M/s S S Telesolutions Pvt Limited Khamla Square Khamla Nagpur 25.
                              I was relieved with tension that no calls for further verification shall be received but in fact I am receiving the calls to submit the documents again and again since last two days. I have personally visited again to my nearest airtel outlet and received a reply that we shall resend your documents again!
                              Please see that I am not given a ring to submit the documents again when I have promptly submitted the same.

                                I am Rambabu Kondala having airtel prepaid mobile number [protected].
                                I tried recharging for Rs 333 on airtel mcheck on 22-Nov-2010,
                                they have deducted the amount but balance not credited.
                                I got a message even regd the transaction successful from Airtel.
                                Even after talking to customer support team, they are not returning the amount yet.
                                Request for your help to get my amount back and stop this fraud.

                                I had recharged my Mobile No. [protected] at Rs. 324 and Rs. 100 on 24th of August 2008. But it is not recharged. But in my citibank Credit card amount already deducted.

                                Kindly let us know what is the problem.

                                    I got my Airtel Landline No.[protected] disconnect in 1st week of Feb 2010. I approached their then office in DLF Galleria, DLF IV, Gurgaon and interacted with their executive named Govind.

                                    When I asked him to get this number disconnected, he told me to give a written letter stating the request for discconection, which I did there and there itself. The next step, as directed by Govind, was to wait for 48 hours, to get a callback from Airtel and they will follow up on this.

                                    I got a call from their Udyog Vihar Airtel Office the very next day, and the guy tried to pursue me not to connect the number, rather he would migrate me to a low rental plan, low tariff plan, etc. After several failed attempts by the executive persuade me, he asked me to deposit the THE THEN FULL AND FINAL PAYMENT OF RS. 1282 at the nearest Airtel Office.

                                    I went back to the same Galleria office, and made a cash payment of Rs. 1282 (Cash), and again confirmed the whole process with Govind, present at the office.

                                    He then made a note of this, and called someone at the other office, and notified the executive about the disconnection request for my number.

                                    Till that point, I was satisfied that the process has been done. But after around a month, I started getting calls from the Airtel office stating the outstanding payments for the following months, which made me furious. I was literally running from pillar to post, and had to again go back to the same Galleria office. Luckily, Govind was still there and he could recall me and my request for disconnection. When I briefed about the ongoing calls, he apologized for the inconvenience and he called up one of his managers and asked him to kindly disconnect the account.

                                    Govind reassured me, and told me that it has been registered and the issued was already resolved before, but was surprised why the Airtel people were calling me. He forwarded a note, and told me, that everything was in order, and I have completed all the formalities, and have nothing to worry.

                                    Now, after 10 months, suddenly, out of the blue, I have started getting rude calls from Airtel office in Okhla and Noida, stating that I have Rs. 2010 due for last so many months, as the number was never disconnected, and it has been billed for all these months.

                                    When I narrated the same story to these tele-callers, I was told, that either make the payment or face legal actions. These pathetic and rude executives are the testimony of how Airtel can cheat people on their face.

                                    After a lot of confrontation with this telecaller, I was told by him to return to the same office, with the last payment receipt and ask them for the NOC.

                                    When yesterday, I went to Galleria, the Airtel office has been shifted, and the new office in the same market, told me that though we are Airtel office, but we only address mobile accounts, and not landline accounts. Instead he gave me a number [protected] to call (Udyog Vihar) or visit that office.

                                    I called that number and got Naved on phone. After listening to my side of the story, he gave me a reference number[protected], and thats it.

                                    I think Airtel needs to be look into these kinds of matter with more concern, because sooner or later, increasing customer grievances would bring this brand down.

                                    Now that that telecaller has challenged me to impose a legal case on me, I would perhaps see what you people do, as from my side, I have done everything the right way, as stated to me from your executives.

                                    I understand the consumer rights, and you people simply cannot start giving accusations on phone. if you have the guts, correct your processes and your people first.

                                    I got a call from some Amit from Airtel[protected] and he just told me that the waiver I'm looking for, cannot be offered to me.

                                    Excuse me, but firstly, I am NOT ASKING for an waivers. I DO NOT OWE a SINGLE PENNY ANYMORE to Airtel, ever since I got my number disconnected in Feb '10.

                                    The biggest fake of Airtel came out today. While on the call, Amit told me taht my number was never disconnect in Feb '10, and it was only disconnected after 4 months, and that do due to non payments.

                                    This is the truth of Airtel inefficiencies. He did not had any answers to my questions, and could not answer me back on why my number was never disconnected inspite of my giving a written request in Jan '10, and clearing all the outstanding payments as of that date, that was 1282 as the full and final payments.

                                    Mr. Rakesh Ranga, no need to write copied texts here. If you are seriously concerned, solve this error and let me live in peace.

                                    Got couple of calls from Airtel (Details mentioned herewith).

                                    Seemed just a solidarity call, and the executives wanted me to narrate the whole damn story again, and then said, "We're sorry for the Inconvenience Sir, we'll check it and call you back"... That was it... no callbacks, no reverts... I'm a very meticulous individual and I do not leave any of my work incomplete, and did not left any undone work even during the time of getting the number disconnected in Feb 2010. Please mind that.

                                    Mr. Ranga, I'll be waiting for the next communication.
                                    I dont know when this curse will end. Airtel, if you're listening, why don't you stop practicing your irresponsible acts and behaviours.

                                    To update Airtel, I got a call today from some Sunil ([protected]) and he offered me a waiver of some 1600 or so, and my response to him was that I am NOT seeking any waiver. The bottom line is that I paid my full and final payment on the date of disconnection, and if Airtel executives have not disconnect my number after that, I AM NOT GOING TO PAY FOR THEIR IDIOTIC ACTS. So, I am not seeking a waiver Sir, I need the justice.

                                    After 90 mins, another call from Rishi ([protected]) comes to me, and he saks me to pay the outstanding amount of Rs. 2010, and then I when refused to do it, and asked him to escalate and read the logs, he just ended the call.

                                    I am warning you, if you people do not take this seriously and resolve this issue, I would be forced to escalate this issue.

                                    I am a respectable professional and a responsible social individual. I would never ever get into these petty things, and therefore it is a humble request to you to get the records straight.

                                    To add, remember, today the customer is damn knowledgeable and people like me, would never fall in trap like these, and surrender to your erratic and rudy behaviours. Get a life, Airtel, and let me live in PEACE!

                                    Airtel Landline — Harassment despite clearing all payments

                                    I recently (couple of months back) disconnected my Airtel Landline.[protected] At the time of disconnection I had personally handed over the handset at their Koramangala official store. I was told I will get the final bill via email as I had CLEARLY specified that I was changing address.

                                    A month later I got no bill via email, but got an SMS on my registered phone that the due was Rs 1254. Despite not getting the bill, I went to the same Koramangala showroom on May 3rd and made the FULL PAYMENT in cash against receipt number 05708769. I was also told that the account was closed and the full and FINAL payment received.

                                    I get a call today saying that COURT NOTICE has been sent to the old address regarding non payment. On giving the telecaller the details of the receipt number etc, she could not confirm the same. This is complete act of DEFAMATION. How can a payment made more than a week back not reflect in the same. Would like a full and final closure confirmation from Airtel in WRITING. Or I will have to make a defamation court notice and send it to Airtel in a week's time with Penal Damages.
                                    My no [protected] has wiring issue..I complained to airtel online, call centre and without resolving the issue has been closed..

(S.Sangameswaran)The cable was working for the past 4 months without fail. From 1.10.2010 till date it gives an error (according to AIR TEL DTH ERROR CODE: 2.The message appear in my TV Screen is:" INSERTED VIEW CARD IS NOT AN AIR TEL VIEW CARD. PL INSERT VALID VIEW CARD CORRECTLY AGAIN". Due to this error, we were losing nearly 10 to 12 hours in a day. Many of the program we missed due to this error. For past two months we lost nearly 250 Hrs due to this. After spending several minutes and days , the Customer Centre in tel No. [protected] - ad dh gave service No. 4475237 for vc issues, code 180R on 15.11.2010. Till today no person has come to set right the error and when contacted one Mr. Vinay of customer service centre told me that it is broadcasting problem. Not connected with Air Dth. On enquiry with my neighbour who is having the same AIR TEL DTH connection informed me there is no broadcasting problem. I am fed up by contacting the useless and irresponsible AIR TEL DTH Customer Services. I am at a loss not only 12 months I paid in advance and got no service for the past two months. I would be very thankful and grateful if you do to attend my complaint and get the refund from AIR TEL DTH.

                                        The DTH connection was installed on 18.5.2010 by AIR TEL ONLY.

                                        I am find this problem for the past 5 months. Till now nobody come for service the Air Tel Dth. My Tv set is getting spoiled because of duplicate part fixex by Air Tel. I could not view any program due to error No. 2 . This is a deficient service by Air Tel. I would like to cancel Air Tel Dth and ask for the refund of amount paid by me in full and compensation for fixing duplicate part.                                         Air Tel had closed my complaint on its own without giving any respect to this honourable consumer forum. It should be severely dealt with. They should not think that the hon'ble consumer form will not take any action against them. Please take action on AIR TEL DTH towards contempt of this hon'ble forum.

                                        Airtel Dth is cheated me by fixing a fake/duplicate/ingenuine view card and thereby i could not view any of the program.

                                        Action should be taken by hon'ble forum towards contempt of forum and under IPC 420 - cheating the customer.
                                        MY CUSTOMER ID [protected] AND CONNECTION WAS GIVEN ON 18.05.2010. FOR FOUR MONTHS THE PICTURE WAS OKAY AND THERE WAS NO PROBLEM. AFTERWARD THERE WAS A MESSAGE APPEARING VIEW CARD IS NOT GENUINE SUPPLIED BY AIR TEL. DUE TO AT REGULAR INTERVEL THE PICTURE GOES AND THE MESSAGE ONLY APPEAR ON THE SCREEN OF TV. I MADE A COMPLAINT TO THIS HON'BLE FORUM ON 24.11.2010 AND THERE WAS NO RESPONSE FROM THE FORUM AT ALL. THE STATUS QUO IS MAINTAINED TILL TODAY AND I AM THE SUFFERER DUE TO THE NEGLIGENCE OF AIR TEL AS WELL AS THE CONSUMER FORUM. HOPE U WILL DO SOMETHING TO RECTIFY ATLEAST AFTERA PERIOD 4 MONTHS.

                                        I have done number of complaint against error no Code 14 while uses of Air tell DTH cable network due to replaced set top box & old view card not paired, till last 7 Days I am complaining to Air tell customer care against this but nobody looking after as well as attending the issue. Latest complaint no to Air Tel is 11943788 & my customer ID is [protected].Please look into this & resolve issue asap.
