I had purchased LG window AC MODEL NO.LWN1865BC on 22-4-2002 . Last year in around June the Gas got leaked & we got it repaired from LG service center which took around Rs.1700/- .Now this year also again the Gas leaked on 20-5-2012. I booked complaint via Job NO. RNA 120522049569 and the company's engineer (Mr. Waseem Akram )came .On checking the AC he said that the Gas leakage is their & it needs to be sent to service center ,no other problem ,as he checked the AC 2-3 times. The same day AC was taken to service center. Next day I get call from the service center & being told that coil is also damaged & charges for that is around Rs. 2000/- apart from refilling of Gas which is around Rs.1900/-. .that is total around 4000/-. (with a guarantee of three months for leakage only).
When a comp. charges too much for refilling of gas & every year we had to get it refilled that it shows very poor service of the Brand.
An engineer checks AC , finds a fault ,updates customer & after sending the same set to the service center ,new problems / defects are told & being asked to pay more .It shows that their is Comp's system fault , as the different persons are giving different defects for the same set.
The customer is having no other option but to get it repaired from the center.
