AS OFFERED BY M/S LIVING MEDIA INDIA LTD, NEW DELHI I HAVE PURHCASED 4 BOOKS AND WHEN I TRIED TO CLAIM MY FREE GIFTS, UNABLE TO LOG ON TO THEIR SITE

PLEASE ARRANGE MY FREE GIFTS AT THE EARLIEST AND ADVISE WHAT I HAVE TO DO NOW?

Dear All

I am an another such victim of India Today Book club which has send mails for sweeptings and with loads of promises of delivering merchandise with highly discounted Price.

I have placed an order on 29th sep based on the Mail for Reebook Shoe + Holiday package for Rs 2599/ . Deducted the money on 29th sep and promised to delivr in 2-3 weeks in writing. But after 5 weeks send a CD package for Rs 2599/. After my repeated mails/ phones, got the reebook shoe after 9 weeks with out holiday package .
It looks like absolutely a cheating club. we warn the customers beware of such mails from the india Today book club.

I am also another victim of the India Today Book Club. I also got the free offer of Return Air Ticket and Adidas Bag. I have called three times and Today I managed to obtain a complaint number from them. I also have taken the Customer Representative's name. Unfortunately he keeps crowing the line "Please wait for 48 hours before you claim your gifts" and says he can't transfer the call to any superior nor to any other complaints department etc. I am thinking that this should be highlighted in all the newspapers and if possible we all should form a group to fight indiatodaybookclub's unfair practices through consumer courts. Please let me know if any of you are willing to join me.

Living Media India Limited / India Today Book Club — CHEATING

I ordered a pack of 20 cd's for Rs2000/- + Rs. 249/- handling charges. The order was delivered through VPP but the cd's are faulty. Also, the above company had promised the following:
a) Assured Free Holiday package worth Rs. 5000/- and
b) Assured diamond jewellery voucher worth Rs. 5000/-
c) Air Travel Voucher of Rs. 7000/-
d) A pair of Reebok shoes - for which even the size was taken on phone on 19/12/2008,
but till toady nothing has been recieved by me. Inspite of several phone calls on[protected], which 90% of the time is not attended and the balance 10% times lies are farted out. How come such a fraud company is thriving in the national capital?

Recd CD's Oredered but what about free gift?
On phone they sat to send e'mail as metioned.
The site says "sorry the offer is closed"

I ORDERED PACK OF 20 CD'S in response to their mail to me .I ordered only because the offer was with a holiday package for two persons. CD's were delivered by VPP on paying Rs.2599 plus postal charges. To claim free holiday package I sent all documents as required by courier ( charges Rs.60 ) which has come back to me after one month . No one picks up the telephone nos given .

Hi, My complaint has not been resolved even though India Today Book club Claims it has.

It is surprising to see that all the complaints here have been resolved on02/03/2009. Myabe a special day for them.

I am now going to the consumer court to teach these guys a lesson. They are not going to go scot free after cheating so many people.

Try calling their call centre on[protected] and you will get all crap from the unfriendly executives.

Dear Team

I recieved the call from the number[protected] here Mr deepak offered me the deal for (3 encyclopedia CD's pack with 12 books and holiday package with return tickets) but now i have made my mind not to go with the same deal the amount Rs.3198 has already been debited from my account but now i am not interested in the offer any more as i concerned with my family for the same deal and there is no use of this deal in my home and i would like to cancel the deal that i made on 29th sept 2009.
I request you to kindly refund the money to the same account from where the amount has been debited.
Please do the processing fast as i am not interested in making the payment to the credit card team for the same.

hye!i have ordered a samsung mobile for around RS.9, 498/- on[protected] .REFERANCE NUMBER:75176379286020248003551.I HAVE NO RESPONSE FROM YOUR SIDE SINCE THEN.you people agreed for a home delivery and told that the mobile will be sent within 5 days or before diwali...there is no response when i have tried reaching the customer care number[protected]...except loosing a currency of 43 rupees...i want you people to get back to me immediately within two days...orelse i will have to cancel the order...
