[Resolved]  Mahindra Flyte — VERY WORST VEHICLE FLYTE

My hubby gifted me Mahindra Flyte on this Dashera. I was the happiest lady on this earth on that day. We had gone through many reviews available on net. Finally decided to buy Mahindra Flyte as we thought Mahindra quality and services are good.

We purchased my vehicle on 28-Oct-09, but the problem started within 4 days.

Day 4: First horn stopped working within 4 days and I complained to dealer and took the vehicle. To my surprise the dealer said he is out of stock of horn switch. He re-fixed the switch with feviquick for temporary solution.

Day 6: I realized that handle shakes a lot and for that dealer said it might be due to air. I checked the air and got it fixed as per manual, which is 24 for front and 28 for back (for single riding). Still this problem is not solved till date.

Day 10: Self start stopped working, I thought it is due to cold weather and it will work if I run my vehicle.

Day 11: Self start was not working again and I have to do kick start, being a lady it is very difficult to do kick start. Kick is very hard. I complained this to dealer and as usual he said I have to bring the vehicle to service station (which is 20 kms from my house – Bangalore North). Mahindra service stations are very few in Bangalore. For entire north Bangalore have to travel to city for service. I would have thought this before buying the vehicle. I STRONGLY ADVICE EVERYONE TO BUY VEHICLE WHOS SERVICE CENTRE IS NEAR TO YOUR HOUSE.

Day 12: I complained to Mahindra Helpline number[protected]Toll Free) stating dealer is not cooperating and not would like to bring this your notice. They promised me that they will send this compliant to dealer and he will call back within 24 hours and my complaint will be resolved within 48 hours.

Day 16: No call received from dealer / company. I did repeated complaints to Mahindra Customer care / Dealer, but no hopes 

Day 25: My kick start also stopped working. I had complained this to dealer again and he again said he will send a mechanic to my house.

Day 26: Dealer gave excuse stating that his service centre is closed for 2 days and he will send mechanic after 3 days. I argued him stating how can one can close the service centre for 2 days without being any national/festival holidays.

Day 30: My vehicle is lying in the parking lot in my house. I cannot start the vehicle or run.

I thought I made a big mistake by buying MAHINDRA FLYTE. Their service is very poor. Before selling they will come to your house to give test drive of vehicle and do rigorous follow-up but after sales, NIL service. You will not find any service centre near your house as well. I being even the parts are not available with the service centre you may have to do 2-3 visits for same complaint leaving all your busy schedule.

I am working lady and I cannot take holiday only to get my vehicle repaired. After investing 45 K in this vehicle and vehicle started giving problem within 1 week is horrible.

I SUGGEST NEVER BUY MAHINDRA VEHICLES. My dealer is CVS Motors, Guttahalli, Bangalore. Never buy vehicles from them worst service.

the similar is the case with Eswari Motors Chennai too.
I M Also Using Mahindra Flyte, N I M Agree wid all the complaints menioned above

Withn A Week Only the glass of the mirror fall down, Accessories are worth Rs.1800/- but the buzzer of indicator was not working dealer simply said "Wo To Gir Gaya Tha"

Within Three Months I Have Paid Rs.700/- for varoius parts of vehicle Apart form the vehical Amount i.e Rs.45, 570/- According to d dealer they are only reponsible for Vehicle Engine "Baki Kya Hume Free Me Mila Hai" So, agar apke gadi ke head light do dinme bhi band hota hai to galti apki hai fuel indicator band hogaya, buzzer nhi shuru hai, self start nhi ho rhi unki responsibility nhi.
My mahindra flyte is give the showroom in parmar automobiles for servicing and pay the Rs. 9500 but the two months is not servicing because your spare parts not available. Your service is not satisfied.

i have purchased a mahendra flyte dated 22/09/09 from standard automobiles 90-a mahanagar lko.after my sixth paid servicing dated on 17/01/11 and 16/04/11 from standard automobiles, the horn problem continously arises and fuel consumption is typically high at 30 kmph.standard automobiles 90-a mahanagar lucknow is not having skilled engineers to attend my above faults and behaviour is not good.

if above 2 problem is not sort out within 1 month.i will go to consumer forum.

Please don’t go for Mahindra 2Wheeler Me and many of other people are facing too many issues with mahindra 2 wheeler. Please review customer feedback on consumercomplaint.in better to go for proven 2 wheeler like honda, hero, tvs. Its a very customer insensitive company. Please review comment on above site before dealing with this company. Many people faced the battery and mileage issue within one month of purchase and their customer/workshop service is really harassing. Better to unite against this fraud company.

HAPPY with FLYTE, EVEN AFTER FOUR YEARS. If some units have problems it does't mean vehicle and its technology is bad. I know how much my sister suffering with HONDA ELEPHANT (ACTIVA). Petrol addict, no luggage space and everyday self start trouble (I urged her not to buy, same time I bought Flyte after weeks of search).
My Flyte (Kinetic when I bought) seldom has self start problem EVEN in chilled winters. Even when I come back after 15 days tours It starts with some minutes warming.
Zipping... You cant believe but I leave behind powerful bikes like Pulser riders when I cross traffic lights and railway crossing (125 CC engine). Even at top speed of 80 KMs its controll gives me full satisfaction (tested it many times on BALM BEACH ROAD, Navi Mumbai).
TURNING radius... superb. I put my leg on ground and turn it around my leg... people can just say. WOW!
Its speed, control, riding everything is absolutely perfect.
KASAB is a terrorist it doesn't mean all Muslims are terrorists YAAAR.
=> VERY IMPORTANT: First read manual of vehicle, how to start, how to park, how to ride and how to maintain...! I feel almost all vehicles are good but some units may have some problems and more than that is the user's knowledge about vehicle and riding/driving.
I M Also Using Mahindra Flyte, N I M Agree wid all the complaints menioned above...
