[Resolved] MARUTI 800 AC — Loose Accelerator assembly, & Faulty tyre | |
Dear Sir, Sub: Loose Accelerator assembly, & Faulty tyre I have purchased Maruti car Model : 800 MPI BS III AC, bearing Chassis No.2675544 & Engine No.3845677 on[protected] at RNS MOTORS LIMITED, HUBLI, KARNATAKA. After that I have got 1st Free service on[protected] Kms.) at Kaiga township, Mallapur. From[protected] to[protected] I have been to a tour of around 600 Kms. On National highway No.17. Unfortunately on last leg of tour ie on[protected] my car Accelerator cable got detached from the peddle and I was stuck on the middle of the road (my speed was at that time was 60kms.) By the grace of the god I was escaped through the severe accident. After doing some temporary arrangement to the accelerator I have continued my journey. But my bad luck was not ended there because once again my car left side front tyre got punctured. After replacing the stepni, With all this problems I reached my destination in vain. Before the start of my journey & last leg of my journey I have fueled my car at Goa & also got checked the wheel blow in reputed Digital petrol bunk. Now I wanted to know why this problem occurred even though I have taken utmost care. It is unbelievable that company like Maruti suzuki’s products are coming out without proper inspection (which may leads to death also). Even just after running about 1600kms your car tyre got punctured because of the cracked tyre just 5mm below the button and because of that the tube also got punctured.(which I came to know through the well-known tyre retrader). As I am working in a Government of India organization & every year many employees are coming forward to purchase cars. If you are giving good products & service it will be highly appreciable. So, finally I request you to do me the needful by replacing the faulty items without delay. Yours faithfully K. SURYAKANTHA. Can anyone tell us how to fix it temporarily, as Mr Kamath could, so that one is not stranded. We will appreciate if someone could put us wise on how to go about.
