[Resolved]  MCD (Municipal Corp Of Delhi) — Illegal encroachment by fruit vendors in Shalimar Bagh,Delhi

Previously vendors & dhelas had encroahed public land just next to AD Block bus stop,Shalimar Bagh,Delhi . Initially after ( 6-8 months back ) MCD broadened the entry road of Shalimar Bagh, may be due to opening of Fortis Hospital, these fruit vendors were taken off from next to AD Block bus stand.
But affter few days these vendors have encroached the footpath & road just opposite AC Block market & just next to road median.

Now, as on date, with no action from MCD side entire stretch from road opposite AC Block Market to AD block market has become fruit & dhela bazaar
Now the vendors are so fearless that earlier they use to put their carts on footpath but now they have put their carts on the left lane of road and they themself stand on the parking bay made of cement on the road.
So in a way these fruit & dhela vendors have taken up footpath + Parking bay made by cement on extreme left of the road + one lane of tarcoal road.
For busy traffic only one extreme right lane is left where all vehicles viz buses,rickshaws,scooters, cars etc ply & for a stretch of 100 meters it, sometime it takes more than 15 minutes to cross
Expect that, if MCD cann't do anything at their own but at least can take action on written complaint

Now all illegal venfors are so fearless, that previously the omellete vendor who used to sit just next to AC Block bus stand and just opposite the Delhi police barrier, was displaced to some other place
But since last few months he has also return back & in evening u will find the car queues for his omellete & cars being parked on the road
This has not only resulted in encroaching the public land by these vendors but also a major hurdle in free movement of traffic.
MCD turned blind eye to such encroahments.
