Micromax — Mobile handset stopped working within month of purchase | |||
We bought a mobile Micromax Full Touch Dual Sim Phone - X331 - White Colour through Homeshop18.com vide order no.[protected] dt.17oct,2012 for Rs1999.The product has one year warranty.but phone's touch screen stopped working within a month of receiving the product.we wrote the complaint to Homeshop18 customer care on 29th November,2012 vide submit ticket no. 76830565.On their advice we gave the phone in manufacturer's service center at Panchkula for repair on 5th Dec,2012.After many visits,on 9th Jan,2013 the service center people said they cannot repair the phone and we are free to take the product as it is. We phoned the Homeshop18 customer care centre, they told us to wait till 31st Jan,2013.But nothing has been done till date that is 6th Feb,2013.Now we cannot put up more with the harassment,we want our money back. We made three written complaints to Homeshop18.com vide ticket no 76830565,29Nov,2012;76980485,4thDec,2012;78118637,10Jan,2013 and numerous phone calls Was this information helpful? | |||

It seems the company wants us to take the defective mobile as they called us to deliver the phone on 7th Feb, 2013 but we asked them to deliver at our home as had been promised by them.We wanted to check the mobile with sim.They promised to deliver it at home but never turned up.
