Nilgiris — Rotten Nilgiris Toned Milk before the expiry date

Purchased Toned Milk from Nilgiris store from Medavakkam, Chennai on 06-April-2012.
The printed date was 05-April-2012 and it was written on the packet
BEST BEFORE TWO DAYS FROM THE DATE OF PACKAGING WHEN STORED UNDER REFRIGERATION BELOW 4 *C.

It was quite shocking to see totally rotten milk in the packet when we opened it after reaching home. This is the second time I have faced this issue from this store. Quality of products at Nilgiris, Medavakkam store is totally worse. And when we go back and tell it to them, they say they keep milk in proper refrigeration only and it's due to our mistake it would have got spoiled. But this time it couldn't even be such a problem because rotten milk smell came as soon as we opened the pack.

I am taking vow not to visit Nilgiris, Medavakkam store again and request all the others too to not buy anything from this store.

I have been buying Nilgiri milk for 3 years now. Constantly, every now and then the mil is sour and turns bad. I won't say that it is alarmingly high percent but it happens . Now this I can give to heat /transport issues which are not very sophisticated in our country. But the bigger concern is this - In a half litre pack, you get 2/3rd quantity of half litre. When I empty 2 packs, I get 750 ml milk. This has been VERY CONSISTENT and I can bet that this is intentional on Nilgiri's part to supply lesser than promised milk in the packs. This is cheap business and someone should look into it.

If you look at the picture attached, I emptied the 2 packs half lt each in 2 half litre cans. The second can is more than half empty.
