[Resolved]  Nokia 5610d - 1 — Faulty sets of Nokia 5610d-1

Dear Sir,

I purchased a Nokia Cell phone model No.5610d-1vide IMEI No.[protected] from The Mobile Stores Ltd. from its G2, G7, R.K. Plaza Building, Railway Road, Hapur, Dist. Ghaziabad (U.P.) vide bill No.UP/02394/00001/0563 dtd 06.09.08 at a cost of Rs.12339/-. From the day-one the same started giving problems like calls auto-disconnection, repeated auto-restart etc. etc. I immediately brought the matter to the supplier, The Mobile Stores Ltd. However, they straight away refused to attend my complaints and asked me to approach Nokia Service Centres. Since my hardearned money was blocked I approached Nokia's Service Centre at Hapur and raised a complaint along with handset and they have replaced the same with a new one after more than a month time (Jobsheet No.DL1339661 dtd 18.10.08 of Brightpoint India Pvt Ltd.76, Okhla Indl Estate, New Delhi and new handset IMEI No.[protected]).

The newly replaced handset (IMEI No.[protected]) started creating problems within a week time of same type as was in the first handset. I disturbed in mind and work and again approached Nokia Care (Nextel, 182, Abu Lane, Meerut) and vide Job sheet No.[protected]/081203/27 dtd 03.12.08 the 2nd handset handed over to them. They agreed the problems raised by me and arranged a replacement with a new one vide No.001E3A77A1FA and instrument code No.0564905 & IMEI No.[protected]) again after lapsing of one month time.

Sir, I am sorry to say that the 3rd handset I received also started giving problems of repeated hanging up, auto-restart problems and call disconnecting problem etc from the day one. Now, I don't know what to I do with this 3rd handset I received. I really loosing my temper because of wasting of my hard-earned money as well as my precious time, repeated distubances in my work etc.

Please advise and do needful to get a new model of Nokia handset instead of said 5610d-1 of the cost involved immediately. Otherwise, I will move to the Court for Justice and file a petition for returning of my money alongwith penalty.

Nokia 5610-d — faulty handset.

I purchased handset on 25th of may 2008 & from the same day i m facing a problem as below:

the call is geting cut automatically while incomig as well as outgoing & at the same time some noise comes from the speaker. the handset will restart with white screen... this happend with brand new handset.. i complaned to shopkeeper regarding this matter, he suggested me to visit nokia care & refused to exchange.i submited it in nokia care on 27th may 2008 but nothing seems good.., again after 10-15 days i submitted it back to them.., . and i got swap(replace) of handset after 1 month period., but the replace handset is someones used, which has a more problems of hanging and its not a brand new.., so i dont know what to do?
its just disgusting and unfare to me. i really got frustated and my Rs12000/- simply gone waste.
i hope you will help me on this matter.

my cell phone has been replaced 5 times for the same issue and everytime its the same i have the imei no for all the 5 phones.i am not at all satisfid with this phone but nokia is still not ready to give me a replacement model i dont want this model any more my cell is in repairs for the 4th time i really need help can someone plz help me out
i also buyed Nokia 5610-d 1 yr ago.i m facing the problem of hanging.sum of the nokia apps got vanished or got deleted.None of the apps are working


Plz find some solution on it as early as possible !!!
my mobile 5610 also same problem..i got it last year april 14th...it got repaired succesfull 5 times ...i have been asking for replacement but each time they skiped the chance and kept me waited for next time...now my cell is out of warranty...wat if i face same problem now?? i want to replace my mobile..can u help me in this?? i want to lodge a complaint regarding this, , , bcoz...its not all above happend with my mobile..apart from many tortures..bad mobile handling ...no proper response from noikia care online..please help me...for further info, , below is the latest mail i maild to nokia customer care, ,

You people have done an excellent job!!! Because after receiving your mail I expected that there would be good news, but again it proved how one can suffer after purchasing nokia . On April 8th I spoke to ROCKY AGENCIES to find out my cell status, they replied that cell was returned in same condition from head office.

I had been to rocky agencies personally to find out the reason why my cell was not repaired, the reply was “DUE TO OUT OF WARRANTY” but my mobile is still in warranty period, as per documents my warranty expires on April 14th and it’s been mentioned in job sheet clearly that it’s with-in warranty. You have wasted my valuable 10days of warranty.

Can’t you check the status of mobile warranty in job sheet if not at least in Nokia online warranty status before sending back to customer? This shows how well your engineers are! Are you going to give back my 10 days warranty period? It’s totally your mistake that sending back my mobile without repaired mentioning that it’s out of warranty.nut I am the victim!

In the other hand, when I submitted my mobile in nokia care scroll bar in the mobile was existing. But when I got my back telling that it’s out of warranty, it was missing? I questioned regarding this to concern person his reply was “I don’t know!” Any way you can’t replace or repair the mobile (which is within warranty) can’t you give back the mobile without any damage? This shows how well you handle the mobiles

I had a long conversation with the manager in Rocky Agencies regarding this issue. At last he said that he can repair my mobile within half an hour by changing keys, scroll bar and MMC holder and he assured that if any problem occurs in next 60 days he can do free service and claim for replacement. I compromised with his statement and finally I got my cell. And regarding 10 days warranty he said that he can’t do nothing

So the10 days time was totally waste, in next very moment I had a conversation with one of your online customer executive, her answer was too silly, that to collect the mobile and if any problem occurs I should submit again in nokia care, so I should keep on running behind you nokia care center and follow ups to nokia care online.? How long should I do this? Does it never ends? From 15th April 2009 my mobile will be out of warranty, if any problem occurs should I spend my time and money for the mistakes done by you? I need replacement of mobile though now it’s in good condition I don’t want to use no more this mobile, which got too many problems.the same I mentioned many times but no result

I think you can understand my situation since you have been following my mails and conversation, I expect a positive answer from your side. Please reply me where can I get justice, get rid of all this problems & how to replace? Still if you say the same answer that to wait for next time if problem occurs and again to submit in your nokia centre, all I need to do is compromise myself again realize that “ I HAVE BEEN CHEATED AGAIN BY NOKIA”.

i cant put on my phone, the power botton and navigation botton is not responding

Nokia — 10 submitted my brand new handset for same issue

this is gurpreet singh sehgal. on march 07, 2010 i purchase n97 mini from nokia shop (fone shop lokhandwala). since then i m suffering because of a manfacturing defect in handset qwerty keypad frame fitting lose. today i got it back after 9 th times of repairing the qwerty keypad but the problem still persists this time instead of left side problem of lose fitting is at right side. so i again submitted the handset to nokia care under the old jobsheet no as they told me to do. isnt 10 times of repairing my handset not enough how many times more should i complain about it. this is a mental harrasment. i didnt get a replacement or a standy handset. your guys at nokia care were rude & told me to get out with the defective handset. please take some actions. this is 4 time i have submitted it for 15 days & 6 times i repaired before in which i got the handset back saying the fitting is defective but they dont know how to fix it as they dont have any n97 mini to compare it with. end this torture.
