[Resolved]  Airtel — non performance of DTH & WORST CUSTOMER CARE

I have purchased AIRTEL DTH on 27.01.2009 since then its not working fine. According to the installation Technician's/Engineer's purview there is some problem in SET TOP BOX & OR DISH and needs to be changed. It has not ever worked fine for 5 days continuously. The Customer care for AIRTEL DTH is WORSE OF THE WORSTS, They have just one point to say "WE ARE VERY SORRY and will rectify with in 2 hrs which will never happen and again if you give the complaint the customer care has to say"WE ARE VERY SORRY and will rectify within another 2 hrs" and niether this process ends nor the AIRTEL DTH gets rectified. i strongly recomned never to buy AIRTEL DTH

Airtel — Cheating n NON-FULFILLMENT of promises

respected sir,
My self vicky .V. patel, using yur airtel number [protected] from past 12 months have faced several problems. I activated my SMS11 pack in the month of APRIL'08... N for some reason i wanted to deactivate.. So on 11th MAY'08, as per your customer care executives direction i typed DSMS11 from my handset n sent it to 511, after which i immediately received the SMS from 121 stating that your request is in the process n it will b done shortly, , , but i continued doing it on 15th MAY'08, 22nd MAy'08. 27th MAY'08, n on 22nd JUNE'08... till then it did not get deactivated... After which i personally visited VEGA CENTER, PUNE on 25th JULY'08.. where i was told that your scheme will b deactivated immediately, but after which it was not de activated.. Finally again your USELESS customer care executives promised me 24 HRS till 16 SEP, after which i again spend 1500 RS n went to VEGA CENTER, PUNE which is 300KMS from my place... U shiuld please take all this matter seriously...There my scheme got de activated n i was old that u will b getting your refund till evening... but till date i have not got ANY REFUND...n on 18th SEP'08 when i called your USELESS customer care executive, he told me that no complaint has been made... so again i called your USELESS cust exe on 19th MORNING after which he said that your request is in the process n yopu willreceive your refund within 24 HRS... but i dont understand y u AIRTEL USELESS people keep on cheating me.. Till date 22nd SEP i have not received any refund... IS THSI THE WAY YOU FOOL N CHEAT YOUR CUSTOMER.. I HAVE ALL THE PHONE RECORDING WHOCH I MADE TO YOUR useless CUSTOMER CARE EXE... I think i should get the +ve reply as soon as possible..Or i have to file a complaint after talking to my advocate... Please dont cheat people n make money... when we activate your services, u do it within 5 minutes.. n when we have to de activate, u take 5 months, , This is the worst ever CELLULAR SERVICE that u r providing... Give service n earn money...Dont fool n make money... you cheaters

Another issue with Airtel DTH now.
My topups were migrated to a new package that was offered to me by your rep on calling me in July mid.
That include
Music top up
Hindi Cine Plus
Colors channel.
Suddenly on 1st August i find MTV is not coming.
I call up customer care and register a complaint on 1st August.
My issue still persists and i still can't watch MTV which was promised to me by your guy when he was migrating my package.


Now on 20 Aug my A/C balance was 15.63 and today its 0.63.
Where have my 15 Rupees gone?
I recharge my account with 200 Rupees and i get a validity till 15th Sept.
With a monthly usage of Rs204, my validity should not have been till 15th Sept.
I call up Customer care and give your guy his piece and he says he can't hear anything so he is disconnecting the call.
This month i have paid the money and next month i am getting your sick connection disconnected.
You guys are not honest and you guys loot the customer.
I shall be posting a detailed user experience on my blog, and other sites of which i am a member.
I shall make sure none else has to go thru' this pain.

You shall not loose just one Airtel DTH connection but the following Airtel services too.
In my view, i have never experienced such a bad service. I thought being AIRTEL there would be some customer service atleast but sorry to say there is no service at all.my id is-[protected]

REGARDING THIS I HAVE ALREADY CONTACTED YOUR CUSTOMER CARE THREE TO FOUR TIMES. BUT ALL IN VEIN . YOUR CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVES ARE NOT AT PAR TO SOLVE MY PROBLEM AS WELL AS THEY ARE THEY ARE UNABLE TO SATISFY A CUSTOMER, AS MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE SAYS.

LASTLY TWO DAYS BEFORE IE 30.09.2009 I TALKED AGAIN YOUR TWO EXECUTIVES MR KAMLESH AND MS. ROSHNI BIJAN THEY TOLD ME THAT THESE FACILITIES WILL BE ACTIVATED WITH IN 48 HOURS. BUT WHEN I ASKED FOR THE COMPLAIN NUMBER FOR MY FUTURE REFERENCE THEY DID NOT DO THE SAME AND REPLIED ME THAT "WE DONT HAVE SUCH FACILITY".

I AM FED UP WITH YOUR SUCH REPLY. SO I AM MAILING YOU.

AGAIN I AM REQUESTING YOU TO KINDLY SOLVE MY PROBLEM OTHERWISE I WILL BE FORCED TO COMPALIN ABOUT YOUR PRODUCT TO THE DESIGNATED AUTHORITY.

Most Bad CustomerCare and Service in Indian DTH service providers: Airtel DTH

Bought a south top up plan with airtel, after 2 months of working...it stopped and says that the card is not authorized even after a pay back...when u call the great customer care ...one out of 100 calls to the center gets through their...great IVR...if you are lucky or the combination of the key press is timely..you might get into ...then comes our great customer service personnals...saying sorry all the time and never tires of the sayinng..(Airtel pays incentives on number of sorry they say)...then they raise a ticket and says the problem wil be solved in 3 days ...and you have to wait...even if you call up the second day of frustration they say "sir the third day has not occured and once you reach the 3 rd day 5:00 pm you will be lucky ...the waiting continues...the fateful day arrives and the 5:00 pm goes by...ur DTH wil still say ...u are not authorized and my money in their account says ... u are authorized...the waiting still continues..."My fatefull 3 rd day 5:00 pm has not arrived"...

AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — not receiving after sales services

I am using airtel digital tv from last 6 months and i have not received any after sales satisfaction form there part,
]From 8th of nov. morning 9 oclock i am not able to enjoy my tv channels and i have register compaint in customer care again and again they give me the diffrent compaint no. but no person come to solve it.

AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — Worse after sales service

Dear all,

I purchased Airtel digital TV a month back on 12/10/09. Firstly it took 3 days for installation after subscribing and then worked well for about a month. But since 12/11/09 it stopped receiving signal. I complained to customer care for 6 times(complaint no.1469015) but it is still unsolved on 17/11/09.
So if you are planning to buy a DTH service please do not go for Airtel. It is tha worst of all.
my ID is [protected]. Your services are horrible your people are not responding properly. i had a conversation with Mr. Ravi Biola who had given me irresponsible answers. Further i had a word with Mr. Girish floor supervisor in mumbai who keeps on repeating the same thing again and again without understanding my problem and when i asked him to reply me in yes or no he put me on hold. and i am listening your tune since last 5 mts right now as of me typing this message.

I have requested for a disconnection. and further i had told that last time also i had to wait for 3 days. Mr. girish is repeating the same story again and again witohut understanding my problem and giving me the status as usual.

I REGRET TAKING AIRTEL. I WANT TO KNOW MY REIMBURSEMENT AMOUNT FOR DISCONNECTION. WHCI MR GIRISH IN YOUR CUSTOMER CARE CANNOT EVEN ANSWER AND TO TOP IT YOUR Mr. RAVI BILOA MISBEHAVED.

Airtel DTH — Quick View

This is Bring to know You that I am using your DTH service now.

My complaint is Since long time You are not allowed us to watch the QUICK VIEW In Your STB. Which is show me Six channal at the same time. All operator are allowed to use this service but I don't why u r not. When i go to check this service, that Pop-up shown in display that " we are upgrading the new system " Whatever. So, My concern is just try to update this service as soon as possible.

I hope my problem solve as soon as possible from your end.

Airtel is the worse company i have ever come across i will recommend all the users to make sure no one uses any of there services. the worse customer service and they don't really understand the issue and there engineers are not even aware about what the fault is and if they promise to come back they don't really kep there promise if you call them back they don't pick the phone but on the otherhand they will always charge you even though you have not used there service.
they are just like DHAKU's of todays.

I would request all of you don't to do any investment or don't go for any services provided by them.

Airtel — worst customer service ever seen

This is with reference to my airtel no.[protected].
I had called up on the toll free no. Regarding gprs issue as i was getting link not available try again later and the support executive was totally unaware of product knowledge as was unable to differentiate the difference between airtellive and mobile office which supports third-party application connectivity such as opera through which i was able to surf on internet and was not able to access through inbuilt browser but i cant access through airtel live which doesn't support opera etc. And according to support executive i m not mobile office user but as u can see i regularly recharge my cell through 98rs voucher so i insisted to talk to supervisor so executive told me that priti the team leader will cal me within 1 hrs but she dint and today i called for the same but got an answer that she is not available right now and any other will call me for the same as i denied for the same . So i will never prefer anyone for airtel connection and will personally beg them to deactivate them airtel card . I need you to take an action against priti as she thinks that this is a joke. Thirdly if this email has been send to same department so i will write another to higher authority . At last will most pathetic customer service in my life. kindly take a serious action against the agents and team-leader priti and against airtel as well and if you are unable to do this let me know i will visit consumer forum physically.
I asked GLOWFAST enterprises Salimar Garden Shibabad Ghaziabad to install a DTH connection at my place.Dealer asked me to deposit Rs1800/- as advance as per company policy what I did.

My premises was visited twice by Airtel people and confirmed that because of location of my flat the Signals will not be proper.Then I asked for the refund of my money as the same can’t be installed.

Now Airtel staff is saying that once sold wheather installed or not money would not be returned unless and until I get some form filled by Airtel people.With the reputed company like AIRTEL I don’t expect that this would be the policy.If this is the policy then it is the clear case of anti consumer and would be dealt accordingly.

The negative attitude towards after sales service and supports reflects very poor services rendered by your company, which is great irritation to the customers, those who are using your products and services. Try to improve your after sales services, thus satisfying the customers.
