Orange Woods — Wrong cot size delivered
I am among the hundreds of people who were cheated by orange woods lucrative offer of buy furniture worth 29k and get furniture worth 50k. Paid full money and booked it. But dint get on time inspite of many number of calls to their mannerless, less informative, misguiding customer care centre. Finally after more than 2 months got a call saying go to our factory and get ur furniture... the situation at their factory was shocking and heartbreaking... we had to pick the furniture(dint get the one we ordered) and the quality was so cheap... just for support some low quality wooden logs were tied a and neatly wrapped with nice cover( now also whenever i sit on the sofa i feel tat it will collapse)!!! but still compramised and bought it. Next came the cot.. I had ordered for a queen size but they delivered me a king size cot. it is still with me. I called the customer care so many times to plz exchange it but now they tell they dont have queen size cots. they cant give me a queen size... what do i do to get right size cot?cot — wrong cot delivered
i had purchsed a six by six size qtr. size cot from big bazar t, nagar in chennai,on 24/1/09, they not only delivered the wrong cot but it was also deffective, ( the ply wood was over size and would not stay on the cot )
whern i contacted the sales men ( balaji) he said there was amistake and put me on to the department head ( hari krishnan ) hari krishnan promised that the cot is awalible elware and would deliver to me within 15 dayes untilt then i could use this cot, thers been no information since then and when ever i call these people dont pick up the mobile seeing my number.
then finally i got to some onbe whos the manager for tn / kerala ( thats what they told me )his name was rajesh kumar, whenh i gave him the story he said he would call me back immidiatly. but he was smart enough to save my mobile mumber, and ever since wouldnt picj up my call or call me, i finally called him from afriends mobile he then picked up and told me that thers no other cot and that they have miss informed you, and cant do any thing .( lets see )
shame on the company and the group,
i am still running around, i know for sure none in the organisation is going tom be bothered about this but i would like people to see this and not buy anything from big bazar any more .

Orange Woods — Faulty delivery
I ordered a sofa set/bedroom set (1 sofa, 1 wardrobe, 1 dressing table, 1 cot, 1 side table) from "Orange Woods" vide order no 21 dated 8/6/2008. It was not delivered for 2 months, even though they had promised to deliver it after one month. The sofa set was delivered on 5/8/2008 along with the bed room set (pieces of wood) was delivered with out the pieces for the dressing table/ mirror. When the carpenter came to assemble the furnitures he could assemble the cot pieces saying that wrong pieces have been delivered. Till date the cot is not assembled and the dressing table mirror is not delivered. I have visited the showroom/corporate office and called them umpteen times but to no avail.
