[Resolved] Orange Woods — Fraud!!!! | |
Hi, We bought a Sofa set worth Rs.23000 from Orange Woods - a unit of Orange Properties Banahe swadi outlet. This we did based on the Print Ad in Times of India wherein they promised a Site for purchases over and above Rs.20000. Now after constant follow-up's and innumerable visits to the Shop all we got is a very rude response from the staff. The latest is that police have seized the shop at Banaswadi. My question is..How are we going to be compensated for the running around ? How could they come ont with a print Ad in one of the biggest daily and cheat around people I would like to know what steps have the police taken towards all of them involved in the scam? I agree, have waited for 3 months and got the same threat that they won't give the money or furniture. There is clearly no accountability in their system and they dont know how to treat their customers...actually they dont deserve any. I have found people being grateful that they gave a refund after 2 mths of wait, how customers took the pain of going all the way to select a different set of furniture in Peenya, or how they finally got their furniture after months of waiting. Have we not paid them to deliver the goods in time? (15 days was what they promised) Have we not paid them to provide a good service and provide timely feedback to us in case of any delay? Then why should we accomodate their irresponsibility and negligence? I would like to take action against them. Please let me know how because i can't let this go past me.
Orange woods sucks. They are pathetic. After fighting for a long time these suckers have delivered a low quality product and that too its all in dismantle state. They didn't even bother to assemble the furniture and give false promises that their carpenter would come and fix it.
Till date they keep on promising and no carpenter has yet appeared.
There is no coordination between their department and every body keeps pushing you to some other department. If you want to see the height of arrogance, pay the bill and ask them for your product.
Can you please let me know the process. I want to send them a legal notice first.

Orange Woods — Beware of these cheats
I paid Rs35000/- on 7th of May'08 for a combi set of 5 items. Promised delivery time was within one month. Even after 4 months, i am still to get two items and the items i have been given is also very substandard to the ones displayed in the showroom. There is lots to be mentioned in this connection which i am not doing in this forum. In summary, there's just one thing to be said - Beware of these crooks/cheats/swindlers whose only aim is to make money. They are the most shameless high-profile company i have ever dealt with. hiThis company came with a scheme that buy a sofa set of cost 29K and get certain item free. I have booked the order in the first week of may and till today there is no delivery. They called us finally today and told us to take some thing else as your items are not ready to deliver. One lady said take your money. But strange one Guy name as Thomas said do you what ever you want to and go to hell we dont care you go to court or news papers we dont care.

Orange Woods — Fraud by Orange woods
Orange woods - I booked for furniture from Orange woods on 4 May 2008 paying Rs.33468. They delivered only sofa and dining chair after mukltiple calls. They are yet to deliver dining table, cot, wall unit as on 23 NOvember 2008. There is not coordination between the factory, shop and call center or there is a planned 'miscommunication' between these units. Each one gives a different date for delivery.Beware of any offers by Orange group.

Folks, I went and lodged a complaint at the Central crime branch (CCB), CottonPet today from my orange premium apartment, it is dissapointing to know that the Orange properties owners are underground now. There were tons of complaints lying with the CCB. and even for Orange woods and electronics.
Some o[censored]s Internet savvy are aware of the problem but there would be many others who are not yet aware of the problem.
I used this post today to write my greivances to some press email ids, and I will be sending some letters to the various new editors as well, please try doing the same and write your grievances and hope we get some notice on this problem.
