[Resolved]  Passport India — Great delay in passport

Subject- Complaint regarding passport file no. BPL-Z[protected].

Sir,
I am a student, from Gwalior (M.P.) and I have to appear for GRE exam which needs passport during the entrance of examination hall. Its already the 5th month now since I have submitted the form. I have been already confirmed by the S.P. of Gwalior that my file had been sent to Bhopal, but there is no response from the Bhopal Passport Office yet. The internet status says “Police report has not been received”.

Even after many e-mails and complaints nothing has been done yet.
The persons who had filled the form through an unauthorized agent got the passport and because I filled the form directly and legally I am still uncertain about it.
As this will directly affect my carrier I urge you to give me a feedback and issue me the passport before 15th October 2010 by any way. IF I DON’T GET THE PASSPORT ON TIME, AND MY CARRIER GETS AFFECTED THEN YOUR DEPARTMENT WILL BE RESPONSIBLE IF I DO ANYTHING TO MYSELF. Hope you can understand my emotions for my carrier.
