[Resolved]  Philips — Poor service by Philips service centre at Gurgaon

I had given my Philips music system for repairs to the Philips service centre located at main mata road, Guragaon on 17 Dec08. I was told that i will be informed of the fault and likely expenditure by 18 Dec evening. However after waiting for the same, I called up the center on 19 dec and was told that the system is being checked and I would be given a call within an hour. However no call came the whole day. I was given the same response when I called the next day, but again, no one called back. Finally, I went to the service center to find that they have not even opened my sysytem till then and were lying to me all this while about the system being checked.
I was extremely dissappointed by this and took my system back. I subsequently lodged a complaint with The Philips custumer care no at Delhi. I recd a call from Mr Leon subsequently, who promised to get back to me after checking the details. However since then I have not recd any communication from Philips.

It is really surprising and dissapointing to find such poor customer care from a company of Philips repute. Philips should take action against their gurgaon service center if they dont want their reputation to suffer.

Philips LCD 32 — POOR AFTER SALES SERVICE

WITH SHEER DISGUST AND DISAPPOINTMENT WE BRING TO YOUR KIND NOTICE THAT ON 21TH JUNE 2011 WE HAD LODGED OUR COMPLAIN AT TO THE BHOPAL (INDIA) SERVICE CENTRE. AND TILL DATE (16TH JULY).
EXTREMELY POOR RESPONSE FROM THE CONSUMER SERVICE CENTER HAVE BECOME A CHIP ON OUR SHOULDER. THEY HAVE TAKEN OUR LCD TELEVISION AND THEY CONTINUOUSLY RESCHEDULING THE LAST DATE. WE NOW HAVE NO OTHER OPTION THAN TO GO TO CONSUMER COURT. WE CONSIDERABLY DOUBT THAT THE TELEVISION WAS PICKED UP FROM OUR RESIDENCE IN HEAVY RAINS ON THE TWO WHEELER AND PROBABLY HAVE SPOILED DUE TO THEIR CARELESSNESS. THE ENGINEERS/ WORKERS SEEMS TO BE INEFFICIENT OR CAREFREE. TWICE THE COMPLAINT HAS BEEN CANCELLED BY THE SERVICE EXECUTIVES FROM MUMBAI. THEIR IGNORANCE AND CARELESSNESS IS INTOLERABLE.
RS. 1500 SERVICE CHARGE HAS BEEN TAKEN THAT VERY DATE.PLEASE CHECK AND DO THE NEEDFUL AT THE EARLIEST.

Dear sir,
A home theater was sent to M/s Service Center, Indore for repairing on 29/07/2011 but till the date i have not got my HTS while delivery date was 31/07/2011. Philips — seating arrangement

Respected sir/madam
I am a college student and in bus i feel really upset by the seating arrangement made by government . The right side and back side seat are for ladies and the rest left seats are left for gents ...today[protected] i was tired and sat at the last seat and later ladies just enter the bus from any bus stand asks 2 get up and i feel really very bad.. maximum seats are available for ladies and even the left hand side seats ladies are seated and if i asked "mam can you get up as they are gents seat" then they ask only 1 question" SHOW WERE IT IS WRITTEN GENTS SEATS" this questions makes me feel irritated.. This is totally not fare that maximum seats are given for ladies in MTC buses in chennai.. So i kindly request you to either put boards on the left hand side that the seats are only for gents and also please make the last row for both ladies and gents... I hope you will take this issue as a indicating 1... please sir...

Philips 24inchs LCD TV — not resolved since 3 weeks

It has been 3 weeks since my Philips LCD TV, currently under warrenty period is not working. We have logged the compliemt 3 weeks ago, service representative came after 4 days and notified us that some part of my LCD needs to be replaced. It has been 3 weeks and I havn't got my TV repaired and getting all the sort of funny response from Philips.

I put up in NCR region not in any remote place that it is taking 3 weeks for them to get the faulty part replaced.

We purchased this product on 12 Nov,2010 and that time also within 6-7 days the display on LCD was incorrect. That time TV got replaced after 15 days, and this time I guess they are just passing the time because I guess Philips itself is not aware how to repair it............

It has been a more than a month still unresolved...
This morning, I happened to call the service centre again and was being informed that till evening my TV will be repaired but no response till now.
Philips has completed 1 MONTH of not working on my request. Bravo Philips, keep harassing customer like that...

Philips / Philips DVD Home Theater — Replace Philips DVD Home theater. Repeated low sound problem for the 5th time.

I have given my DVD system to Authorized Philips Service Center M/s United Electronics West Marredpally Secunderabad On1st November 2011, and contacted the call center for the same, they have assured me that they will replace the system because of the defect with the manufacturing but the service center person told that they have repaired the same and told me to take the system after payment of the bill. I request Philips to replace the defective DVD Home theater at least now.

Philips — Complaint not resolved for 12 days

My DVD player was not working (tray not opening) and I lodged a complaint on 15.1.12, Job Sheet no: [protected]. Accordingly I received a call asking for suitable time. I gave them a time and since both me and my husband are working, my husband took a day off to stay at home. The technician did not come and called after 4 pm to inform he will come in the evening !!!! i again called the next day and I was informed that the service center opens only at 2 !!!!! so they can not come before 2 !!! I again fixed up a day when my husband will stay at home. I was promised that technician will come between 10 am to 2 pm. As usual he did not come. AT 2:30, I called to complain again, I was asked for 2 hours time. My husband waited till 6:30 pm, technician did not come. Its been 12 days the complaint hasn't been addressed. Is this how a reputed brand like yours treat their customers ????? We are shocked and have decided to never use Philips products again !!

Philips, Authorized Service Centre Technocare — They have spoiled the working Music player

I had provided the music player FWD 17/21M for service stating the CD, FM and the Tape is working on the server. the problem is i get on the reading of CD. On taking the work order, the defect mentioned was CD not reading. But i had mentioned CD is working and only Noise during the CD read.

I had also clearly stated the Drive is Working, But now the solution is the Lens is Bad and needs to be replaced which will cost around 1300. They have spoiled the Music system and the response is since the work order is mentioned as CD not reading this is the solution.

On running the service centre they are cheating the stealing the working parts and simply charing the customers.

Philips — m/S Dharamtara Electicals mundri mohalla ajmer (rajasthan)

I have taken philips cfl from M/s Dharamtara Electricals mundri mohalla Ajmer but it stopped working after 8 months.
He has given me warraty of 12 months.
But now he is refusing to replace it.
I purchased a Philips LCD modal number 24PFL5306/V7 on dated[protected] from Next outlet they have offered for extended warranty for next two years (1+2 years).
But unfortunately my LCD screen panel has Broken in running mode. I have submitted my complaint to Philips consumer service centre vide complaint no. PGUR[protected] on dated 19-Feb-2013. In this regards company engineer visit on dated 21-Feb-2013 for such problem and told me that the LCD panel has Broken, for that our engineers will come for take photographs and have to be confirmed to you what should be done by the company.

But i was very surprised that I have received a SMS from Philips as "YOUR CALL NO PGUR[protected] booked with us has been cancelled-reason-Estimate not approved".

Next day (i.e.[protected] i speak to Philips consumer service centre for above sms, they saying that we cannot done the same and you will be pay the cost of such problem.
