[Resolved] Postpaid Mobile Connection — change of bill plan without consent | |||
Sir, I have a postpaid connection mobile No [protected] from Airtel. Airtel has offered the sim on following conditions: 1. Plan name RACUG25North 2. Monthly rental Zero 3. Tariff detailed in enclosed letter 4. Discount Rs 25 Call value & 10% discount on bill 5. Free calling with CUG mobiles of Railways. A copy of offer letter is enclosed herewith for reference. My mobile works well till september 2011, after that Airtel has sent me a message that Rs 140/- is being charged as monthly rental with reduced tariff rates. I had protested against this and register complaint with Airtel (which is a very painful task as the customer care executives are not ready to accept the complaints) about the imposing rental without my consent. My complaint Id is 40296504 dt 27/10/2011 In reply of my complaint, Airtel has confirmed that there is neither change in my bill plan nor any hike in the monthly rental and they had reversed the charges imposed in my bill of Oct-2011 Further next month again same thing happened and again I had register the complaint vide id no Till than Airtel is not replying my issue properly except that there is change in the agreement with Railway. Thus the monthly charged has been imposed. I had asked airtel to provide the copy of agreement to confirm the verdict of Airtel but they simply ask to contact the coordinator at Railway. Now my grievance is as follows: 1. Bill plan and tariff cannot be changed without mutual consent. 2. Railway doesn't have right to decide the charges paid by me in a running plan even if it is a corporate plan. 3. Thus my original bill plan with monthly rental should be restored. For last four month I'm writing to customer care, nodal officer appellate Authority through e-mail but no reply received except standard reply mentioned above. During this I had stopped to pay the bills and it crosses my credit limit. Then I offer him to pay the usage charge under protest through mail but they haven't replied. Further payment of bill is acceptances of revised bill. Thus I continue with my decision to withhold the bill. Airtel has barred my outgoing service. And now since[protected], Airtel has discontinued my mobile.no [protected]. The above mentioned act shows the monopoly of Airtel, exploitation of Customers and against the norms and guidelines decided by TRAI on behalf of Govt of India. Now I request you to intervene the matter and direct the Airtel to restore my mobile number [protected] with original plan. And issue necessary guidelines for rest laks of mobile numbers issued to railway employees to whom Rs 140/- monthly rental is being charged without their consent and against original offer of Airtel. I would also inform that it may be a big scam cooked by Railway & Airtel officials as no authority is ready to provide the relevent paper. Hoping for detailed investigation of issue at your end.
