[Resolved] Reliance Life Insurance — wrong commitment & cancellation of policy | |||
dear sir i had taken reliance multiplier plan recently but after receiving policy i was totally surprised to see that the plan told to me on phone was not matching with the policy i received. i received a call from A.B.Capital on 25th of November 2012 ,the policy was introduced to me by Mr. AVINASH & Mr. nikhil they told me that they are calling from reliance capital instead of a.b. capital. they told me that my sum assured will be Rs. 6,00,000 & accidental death benefit will be Rs. 9,00000 & after 10 years i will get around Rs. 14,00000 & my premium will be Rs. 50,000/annul i trusted them & taken the policy by hdfc cheque num- 001096 0n 27th of november but after receiving the policy on 20th of December i come to know that i was made fool by A.b. capital peoples & my premium mentioned in the policy was 49,381 & also the plan told by them was false. i tried to the given numbers but that were switched off & then i called to customer care & complaint for it & requested to cancel my policy but i did'nt got any response & after sending lot of mails to them i received the answer by them is as below. We regret the inconvenience caused to you due to your inadequate service experience with our representative. We thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention, as this provides us an opportunity to review our processes and improve them to ensure maximum customer satisfaction. With reference to the concern raised by you, we would like to inform you that, your policy bonds with a photocopy of the respective application forms duly signed by you were dispatched to your mailing address on 03/12/2012 via Speed Post - Chennai, Airway bill (AWB) number ET[protected]IN. Based on our internal findings, we would like to inform you that: · We have not observed any tampering on the proposal form duly signed by you, used towards the issuance of the policy. · We have received the first request for cancellation on 02/01/2013, which is beyond the stipulated freelook period of 15 days from receipt of policy bond. Any changes to the policy can be requested only within the freelook period as mentioned in the terms and conditions of the policy document dispatched to you. Further to our telephonic conversation, we would like to inform you that we are unable to comply with your request for any changes or cancellation of the aforementioned policy. BUT I LIKE TO INFORM TO RLIFE PEOPLES THAT I HAVE RECORD THAT I NOT RECEIVED THE POLICY BEFORE 20TH OF DECEMBER .I CHECKED THE SPEED POST NUMBER MENTIONED BY RLIFE THERE WAS A signature of some sukumari who is not even MY FAMILY MEMBER.& i dont know her. This is my request to you ,kindly cancel the policy as i was committed wrongly by reliance agents they had taken policy by making me fool ,i don't want the policy ,kindly force them to return my amount as soon as possible.. my contract num is[protected] clint id[protected]. thank you very much Was this information helpful? | |||
