[Resolved] S T Courier — Non Delivery of Goods | |||
Dear Sir, We had sent a courier from ST courier pallavaram branch on 12th sept 2011 to AGRA and today is 17th Spet 2011 and the shipment has not yet reached so far. We tried to call their call center as well as the guy who booked the courier but no proper response. I would like to post this as a evidence so that later i will face them in consumer court. I got the courier delivered to my office on 01.02.2012 at 2 pm that is after 5 days. This too after serious follow up by both companies with ST Courier office, In the meantime the frustrating thing was the awb no. given above was not traceable in the system by our office and your office too since it says it is invalid number.
Though the courier was sent on Friday, we didn't get on Saturday. We hoped that by Monday it would be delivered but it was not on Monday, not on Tuesday but only on Wednesay by 2 pm. It was a payment cheque & we only what amount of pressure we experienced till today because we had already issued post dated cheques based on this payment to present in the bank on 31st January. We had to plead the customer not to present the cheque on 31st January, then again pleaded not to present on 1st February and finally today we told the customer to present the cheque only on 3rd February.
All the above tensions & pressure we experienced is because of your so called "Professional Service".
Please answer my questions:
1) Why your own printed Airway bill number is not being accepted as Invalid Number?
2) How long will it take to deliver a courier within Chennai?
3) If it takes 5 days to deliver within Chennai then is it called a "Courier Service"? Even if it was sent by normal post it would be delivered in 2 days time. So what is the use of your courier service? Dont you feel ashame of your service?
Your website shows "We are very pleased to announce that we have received the ISO 9001:2008 certification". What is the use of this certification when your service could not meet the very basic requirement?
This is my 3rd experience with ST Courier in non delivery of packages on time.
So we have given a standing instruction to all our related companies strictly not to send any documents or samples through ST Courier in future.
