Samsung — Samsung Galaxy Ace (one and a half month old) Not working | |||
Hi , I have bought a Samsung Galaxy Ace one and a half month old. I am a tech working in the industry of devolpment and support. I am good a mobile OS as I am supporting all Android , Symbion and so and so. I love Android , SO I sold my HTC trophy 7 (windows 7 ) Phone to get this one. Now I am in a state where I am confused about the choice I have made.From the moment I purchased the phone I had troubles with the Battery back up . I thought it can be a issue with the Android OS 2.2(Froyo)..Then after two week of purchase , I found the Battery back up have gone really bad as it will not stay more than 4 hrs without a single call.So I used to charge the phone to get the call , But later it is not even charging and will not turn on itself. Funny ??? but I have to unlpug the batter and replug the same then it will work for some time .very recently I am not getting the right response from the touch pad .Then I did check with the samsumg for the Gingerbread(2.3.3) which they dont have officially released. Once when the phone was automatically turned off , I removed the battery and plugged it back and found the charge is still there .so in simple words "I REALISED I MADE A WRONG CHOICE". Unfortunatly I called the Tech Support Dept of Samsung. I spoke to the so called TECH ; the tech began to go through the steps ... I did that completely and told this is how it works.I asked for Supervisor. Thier COMES THE SUPERVISOR. I cant understand his english on first place. But I did tried to convey the info . He was more interested to let me know that its not a trouble.Below are my concerns . What should I DO ? Question 1: Do you expect us to carry a charger along with the phone ? Question 2: When I went to service center and told about the entire story they told will have to change the board and check , If its not working will try changing the touch . The first resolution "to change the board " will take more than 7 days and I can check if its not working I will have to wait another 7 more days."IF that is not fixing my battery issue ,will you change the battery as well." Then what is the original parts available in the phone purchased from samsung ? Question 3: I have paid application in the phone ,Which they will remove and try a trial and error method , who will pay and put that application bak on my phone ? Expecting a better service than from customer service to back samsung products this time.
