[Resolved]  Samsung Wave S8500 — bada 2.0 update

Hi,

I had bought samsung wave phone for 18k sometime back for Rs. 18,000. Now the problem with this phone is that it required bada 2.0(a new update which is not available on my wave 1) to run even the basic apps. Most of the apps on the app store now require bada 2.0 and they dont run on my phone. Even google maps refuses to connect on my phone. I cant use simple chatting apps such as chat on which is even available for 4k phones such as champ. I believe samsung has duped the customers and intentionally not providing the update so that their wave 3 sells well. I seriously hate samsung for this. I am waiting for bada 2.0 update since like 5 months and samsungs refuses to comment on when will they provide an update for my phone. Samsung should be booked for this act. Please help.

same here ... i had written many time to samsung the same complaint that if my phone doesn't support the 2.0 app why the are selected by the app store for my phone.. they say beat with us, but the how much more time they will take ? they have released the upgrade in many countries and now even china had bada 2.0 upgrade, they have announced the release couple of months ago and we are waiting for it yet,

I agree completely. It has been almost a year since I have been without google maps. I have a data plan, and literally this is all I ever wanted it for. Samsung has neglected me and all Canadians! I actually feel like I should be given a replacement phone that WORKS, not some half assed phone that I'm stuck with for 3 years. This phone should never have been sold if its not FUNCTIONAL. I will personally make certain that none of my friends, family, and pretty much everyone to stay away from samsung.
cant down load any thing from samsung application store since months
