Dear Sir,

I am regular user of www.irctc.co.in website for booking of train tickets. On the website I found that SBI issues Railway Credit Card for which I have to apply online through the same website. It is not even made available to be applied from the SBI website itself. I applied for the same as it gives me the benefit of saving the service charges which is levied if I use the other Credit Cards. I applied it along with the Railway Shubh Yatra scheme. I received the Shubha Yatra membership card but did not receive the the SBI Railway Credit Card. After waiting for 3 week. i still not get any updates

Kindly help me in knowing the status and the reason. I would definitely love to have the SBI Railway Credit Card as I am the frequent traveller.

Please help me in getting the same.

i kingshuk samanta redeemed my sbicard points for a satyapaul bag. on 16th jan i received the sms that i have received the gift on 9th jan 2018.this was a lie and i send sms to customer service and also phoned 2 times sbi complaint dept.they were rude and just cancelled my phone after 8 to 9 min.

I have called many times on phone banking for e- statements and also send the mail for requesting the statement also. When I want to access website for the accounts status I am getting the message that your account is blocked. why INTER CITY CHARGES for SBI bank????????

They are taking amount of this Inter city depost money to sbi account.

If they taking like this in future.. the sbi will have zero customers.

It's not a good thing to charge INTER BRANCH FEES for even small amounts like 500 & 1000 from middle class families. If the fees is like that, no one will use SBI bank. If Once it loose the customer satisfaction then no one can make to trust the SBI bank.

hey, be careful with sbi bank... now it charges inter city charge... don't understand the logic behind this charging ... it happens for a long time sbi might lost its sufficient number of customer.

why sbi wants to collect intercity charges from its customers who deposits money in non home branches?
as a nationalized bank it is not good on its part. Please think once about it. If it continue like this, sbi will loose their customers gradually. And one more thing is why don't sbi will allow to submit the application regarding net banking? Till now it is giving a very good hospitality and very good service to its customers. These are the main drawbacks for sbi.

SBI should not charge intercity charges when the amount is deposited in the same city but other branch of the bank. By doing this they discourage the customers using the computerized facility. Also the service of SBI is not good. If you go to main branch of SBI Pune, you will have to stand in long queue at the counter for at least one or two hours for any work. The treatment given by bank employees is very bad. There is no decency. The bank person at the counter does not know the rules. Simply Pathetic. So friends Let us avoid SBI. Say no to SBI.

I am extrimely annoyed with this system of Intercity charges of sbi. Today I attended an opening branch of Orissa at Barkote of Deogarh Dist. Where the Bankers Requested me to have some trial deposit . I did so . I posses my account at Deogarh branch, Barkote is comming under the same District of Deogarh. In this case intercity charges of Rs 25/ for deposit of Rs100 in a rural branch do not carry any means. I hope bankers should be aware in distance and rural sector when deducting INTERCITY CHARGES.

when internet banking is there, then they should not charge for intercity money transfer.

I dont know why SBI is debiting Intercity charges from customers.majorities are using non home branches and this charge is not good for SBI.for transfering 61000rs they are debiting 91 rs as charges, .(ie, 0.15%charge).this is not fair.On other side other bank like ICICI are not debiting any charges.

This is ridiculous. I have deposited cheque in Chennai and my home branch is in Calcutta and SBI has charged Rs 150/- as Inter City charge. This charges is only applicable in SBI . I did same kind of transaction for AXIS Bank and Stan Chat Bank they never do so. I would like to get back my money. I hope one fine morning SBI will realize the customer grievances.

Its very shameful for a bank like SBI to collect money on the basis of inter city transfer charges...after all banking is meant for remote deposition of money...eg a student studying away from his home...if the authorities don't stop these things then boast yourself of being the largest bank of india and stop giving full page ads on leading daily newspapers as being the banker to this nation...if you want to be the banker to this nation don't just say it shamelessly, mean it too.

SBI Inter City Charge is really UNTRUE. Rollback this charge immediately. Even they are charging when depositing from its own branch. What is mean by "Saving" account type in SBI ?????????????. They charge Inter City Change in many ways, first they charge like service charge by asking for additional amount over the deposing amount in[protected]s. Second when there is a transaction from ATM, changes automatically deducted in[protected]s. Now finally they deduct the charge directly from the depositing amount without customer's knowledge in 2008s- till now.

Government shall promote other banks rather pvt. banks. SBI emplyees are very arrogant and hopeless. They are not utilizing there complete strength for customer due to volume. Let people help each other to close the banks or organisations who are not in the interest of people.

SBI Authorities to note:-Stop charging inter city charges for deposits made in non home branches. After all instead of the cashier in one branch, the cashier of other branch is collecting the cash. All remaining activities are same. Then what is the use of core banking/net banking/24X7 service.

today I got shock from SBI by this inter city charges, while I opened a fixed deposit from other branch. I told them to transfer money from saving account to FD. they have deducted inter city charges rs 150/- from my account but they havent informed me while opening FD that they will charge me this much amount if I will open fixed deposit from other branch. this is really rediculous to deduct money without informing a customer. this is not expected from a reputed bank like SBI. this is not case with ICICI bank. I can deposit money anywhere in this ICICI account they cant apply inter city charges for that. how the norms are changing for each bank :(

As per SBI Tiny launch details they say they have launched it mainly for underprivileged who dont know how the fill the challan to deposit money in SBI accounts.

No where its written compulsory to deposit below Rs.10000 only in SBI Tiny counter.

Then why the hell bank staffs send customer to SBI Tiny Counter.

Even Govt banks also nowadays start cheating customers. Now SBI also start charging for everything like limited transactions, intercity charges pass book printing and everything. I am 20 years account holder of SBI.

SBI giving ATM card to customer to minimize there work. But for ATM card also they were charging amount for annual fees.

I did not understand about this, I diposited 29000 on a kolkata branch but my ac is on the s 24 pgs branch, i saw only 58 rs deduct from my ac, so sad, i want to close my account . rbi need to start porting facility.

Actually when I took up the matter with the Chairman, GM(customer service), GM(NW2)Chennai, and AGM (LHO Coimbatore) asking for their clarification /justification for this charge in the context of an RBI circular dated July2013 which advises all banks in unambiguous language not to levy such charges, none of the abovesaid authorities fro SBI came forward to offer their clarification /justification. Even after 3 months I have been replied "we are working on it-(one page circular)". It is clear that SBI is "working on how to fool and fleece the customers for the last 3 months by looking for ways to circumvent the RBI guidelines" . Left with no choice I have taken the RTI route to make them mend their ways.

Why SBI charges high rate for inter city cash deposit????. Recently i deposited Rs 500/- in non- home branch of SBI, for this they deducted Rs 50/- as service charge ie, 10% of the total deposit.

Remember this type of SERVICES by SBI, definitely leads a huge reduction in their customer base.

I'm a new customer to SBI, I was not aware about the intercity charges, my home branch systems were down, I had to walk in to another branch, I deposited 44000/-..after coming to home, when I looked on to my account, on internet, i was shocked to see i was charged 130/-...which is very pathetic service by a reputed bank of India...

Last month they issued a deposit card called green card. I went to deposit 2500rs. they charged Rs.50 as inter branch free. I thought it was intercity fee. but today I went to nearby branch instead of my account branch and they charged same Rs. 50 for Rs. 5000 fee. I asked them both banks are just 2 Km away and they are charging intercity fees. and they are not accepting deposits without cards. Payslip deposit it is Rs. 25 only. What ever be the case they should reduce this 5 rupees charge. and atleast they should allow charge free intercity deposit. This is ridiculous. I am going to attack sbi now for sure. date 23may2014

Hi im SBI User. My friend deposited just Rs.300 to my a/c but i got only Rs.250. After only i got message from SBI about Rs.50 deducted for inter city charges. It is absolutely wrong. SBI please eliminate this ridiculous policy.

Its wrong to charge for this..sbi will lose customer . Its pure cheating with customer.it is hard to bear ths charge for middle class people

Even for small distance transaction of few kilometers SBI is charging intercity charges . is this a part of customer services, they were just exploiting customers for branch benefits.

i know the inter city charges please tell details of the custumers

this is not the valid charge because a middle class family deposit 500 or1000 Rupees the bank charge Rs. 50 in a state. It is not fair...
I request to pls stop the charge. If the deposit Rs.10000 &amp; above then it will be charge...

Its really a bad thing . Today SBI also deducted Rs:50for my account for this reason .
Please refund my money other wise i will kill all SBI staff .

i told my friend to deposit 15000 he is in different district after deposit i got a message that 50 rupees was charged i was shocked previously sbi is to charge 30 rupees know its 50 rupees and tomorrow 70, 90, 110, 130, ...so on what the heck is this i was thinking what about private sector banks please tell is this happening in other banks or only sbi?

This is really outrageous. With a deposit of Rs. 4000/- SBI has charged 50 Rs as Intercity bank charges. I mean common guys, who will do offline transactions anymore ?? At least be reasonable charge below 20 or something, actually u should not charge at all

They want to charge us for everything, my family tried to withdrew money 3 times in a day-on the same day i transfered, i got three times charges 17x 3 for non balance try, Now i have shifted my home, when i deposit money in near by branch they charged AED 68/- for that, these all computerised transaction charges should be avoided, as bank dosent give any services to us nor they are not getting any cost.

it is telling intercity charges, but they are charging if we deposit in any other branch.

AsI have deposit Rs. 49, 000/-, 49000/- & 2000/- in kandivali M.G. Road Kandivali Branch Mumbai in my own Account at SBI Shankar gali Kandivali Branch Mumbai where SBI deducted 112/-, 112, & 50/- respectively as Intercity charges which is nothing but SBI's Extortion money from a common man, I request to Prime Minister Mr. Modi & Finance Minister Mr. Arun Jaitley to remove this Intercity charges in SBI with immediate Effect.

I am also shocked to see inter city charges from SBI in Gandhinagar.Actually the person who is depositing money in my account knows nothing about these charges.After deposit of cash in my account SBI has deducted Rs. 50/- in my account.This is just unknown to depositor.
Please wave off these charges other wise it is going to affect your customers adversely.

Subject :-Non receipt of cash from your corp bank ATM situated at Mall road Tilak vihar.



Respected Sir,
On 2/12/2008 I operated corporation bank ATM to withdraw an amount of Rs 6000/-
but I am sorry to mention that though the Amt Rs 6020/- was debited from my account by the money never came out of the machine. I tired to contact the corporation bank office at the numbers given at the ATM premises but of no use since no body picked the phone.

This is also to bring to your kind notice that no attendant and security guard was present at that time at Crop Bank mall road Tilak Vihar ATM. I am enclosing herewith photocopy of mini statement of my bank SBI showing the amount debited from my account. Also please find showing transaction of Rs 100/-.

Since few other customer had withdrew money from the same machine. I again tried to withdraw Rs 100/- for the money but the result was same my account was debited by Rs120/- but money did not came out.

I visited Corp bank Mahavir nagar on 3/2/2008 and contact Mr. Rajeshwar and he was told to contact my bank State Bank of India in Dwarka sec 10 . Next day I visited in SBI and I was asked to report the matter in writing which I did with my letter dated 05/12/2008.

But still 27/12/2008 your bank not refund money back in my account. very hardly to say that i m so suffer because of inconvenient of you service.


Keeping in view the above fact .It is humbly requested to kindly refund the amount to my account
