[Resolved]  Shama Sardar Travels — Nightmarish Experience

I had traveled by Shama Sardar travels from Chennai to Bangalore. It was a terrible experience!

(i) I had booked a multi-axle volvo bus. But they offered a single axel Volvo bus. Why ???

(ii) The bus was supposed to leave Chennai Koyambedu bus stand at 4:15 pm. But it did not leave the bus stand till 4:45 pm Why ?

(iii) On the way the driver stopped to fill diesel and he took 1 HOUR to fill the same. So by the time we left Chennai city it was past 6! Why ??? Consequently we arrived in Bangalore at 11:00.

(iv) Majority of the time the driver was speaking on his mobile and driving the bus. Does he not know that driving and speaking on the mobile is inappropriate ? In this way he was endangering the lives of all the passengers.

(v) 2 cartons of bottled water were loaded inside the bus. However, these were not served to the passengers. We had to purchase our own water bottle. Why did the driver and his assistant not serve the bottled water????

Shama Sardar will have to improve their service quality drastically if they have to compete with the likes of HKB, Kesinini, Conti, KPN, etc.

Overall a terrible experience. You would be better of taking a town bus!
