Shop Your World — Non Delivery

Yes, I agree this company is fraudulent. I made a purchase on Oct 12th, 2011. They kept saying my shipment is in transit and in the end they said it got 'lost in transit'. Now even after repeated reminders they are not refunding the amount.

if you have paid by credit card, you can file a charge back complaint available with all credit card providers. You will get the money back and SHOPYOURWORLD will be charged the charge back penalty amount. Always make sure to teach such folks a lesson.

I had a similar experience with this company. They are extremely unprofessional and fraudulent. I had place an order and waited for over a month before cancelling it because of delayed delivery. When I cancelled the order, now they won't pay the money back. They initially say 12-15 working days, and later on keep postponing this date according to their will. I am yet to get a refund on the order.

Companies like this should be exposed and if possible legal action taken against them. Spread the word, at least some people in the future will not get cheated.

They are big cheats i have placed an order 20 days back forget about delivering the order. They haven't send an confirmation/ or a status mail till date. The money has got debited from my debit card. So thankfully i have all the details. My order no is removed from their site. And every time you call their customer care they behave like dumbs, and keep your call on hold forever.
Now it's not about my order or money but i want to teach them a lesson. They have been cheating and harrowing customers. I am going to take serious legal action against them. I belong to the internet industry, will show them how it works!

I had placed an order on July 19with Shop your world for the cat food vide order No. TIN0539274US on priority and the order was to be delivered within 7 days. But when I did not get the delivery even after a month and got rude answers on phone, I cancelled the order on Aug.21 and received mail that the refund will be made within 12-15 days. When ever called or contacted on live chat they give me fresh dates. the dates given for the refund was Sept.11, sept 15, sept 18, sept 24 then sept 25 and now sept.28th, & Oct 1st. I have made lot of calls and chats to resolve this matter in amicable manner but they are not cooperating and giving fresh dates every time. They use excuses like gateway problem or technical issues for delaying the matter. I too feel like other on this site that they are big cheats. They do not lift the phones and are rude, they do not answer emails, the chanting persons put you on hold for as long as 45 min and then they disconnect you. Jasmine is their floor manager who is highly un-proffessional and non co-operative. Those who are planning to place fresh order are to be careful. Pl. help.

I HAD ORDERED A KINDLE EBOOK READER ON 13-06-12. I WAS GIVEN FALSE PROMISES OF DELIVERY SINCE 4 MONTHS. AT LAST BEING FED UP I ORDERED CANCELLATION ON 15-10-12. BUT TILL NOW NO REFUND WAS MADE INSPITE OF PROMISING REFUND WIOTHIN 10 DAYS OF CANCELLATION. HAS THE WEBSITE OPENED TO CHEAT CUSTOMERS IN THIS WAY?

I purchased a from Shop Your World thinking that I'm getting a cheaper price than Indian market & should be able to get in 15 working days. Well, here are the purchase details:

Now its been almost 1.5 months & still no news of the product. Understand that the delivery from intl. location take time but 1.5 MONTH???
On top of that these people have REALLY REALLY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE & ETIQUETTE.
1) Their Chat portal is always busy for almost hourse to connect with some representative. if connected they'll give the same update what you see on their online tracking portal & then will further say it'll be delivered to you THIS WEEKEND (which has never come for me for past 2-3 weeks)
2) if you call THEIR ONLY NUMBER:[protected], you should be prepared to stay on hold for almost hours & then if by chance you get connected to someone, they'll say the same what you'd have got from the chat rep & in case if you inquire further, they'll say that they looking into the matter & will call back (WHICH NEVER EVER HAPPENS)
3) If you talk about refund, they'd bluntly (without any sorry figure) say that refund will take another 15working days (so in short they're living their business & lives on the interest earned by the product price)

I'd like to put a criminal complaint against them. Kindly help in taking serious action.

Date Of Order : 11/30/2012 6:52 AM The "Track Your Order Status" on their website is never updated. When ever I call and request status on my ordered item I get false reasons either - held up in customs, in transit to India, at global hub which is the reverse order in which an item is shipped from US to India (it is like they are sending a product to US from India). Every time I contact them the delivery date is pushed forward by another week. It has been one month instead of 10-14 days as per their shipping policy and a very bad online shopping experience. There have been 100s like these complaints online about shopyourworld. Is there a way to put an end to this by shutting down the website or legal action against the people behind this. Please help me out as I have collected this money after 6 months of my salary savings.
