[Resolved]  Spice Retail Ltd — Not Exchanging the defective Mobile

I bought a Nokia Mobile Handset model C6 from Spice Retail Ltd outlet at Aditya Mall, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad on 28/7/2012 at 7.22 pm. The mobile hand set box was already opened before being asked by me.
While using the above mobile hand set it got hanged after few hrs only. So, next morning at around 10 am, I went to the above outlet to return/replace the same. The hanged set was checked by your sales man & made it working after switching it off by removing its battery and restarting it. But I insisted him to replace it. The sales man (Vikas) agreed for the same & asked me to come after one hour. I did so after one hour but he asked me to come in the evening saying that the new set was not available in the stock. Accordingly, I did so but again faced the same excuses as earlier and it went on for a couple of days.
Subsequently, I went to the above outlet on 31/8/2012 evening & requested sales man (Vikas) to take the mobile hand set back giving me a suitable receipt so that I can claim the replacement whenever new set is available. He refused to take the mobile set back saying that the packing slot was not available. After a lot of hassles he finally agreed to take the mobile set, its accessories & packing box back and assured me to provide new set within 3-5 days. But despite my repeated follow-ups he could not make the new set available yet.
Finally on 7/8/2012 evening, I requested your sales man (Vikas) to provide me alternate mobile hand set i.e., Samsung Ace Duos as replacement against Nokia C6 & agreed to pay necessary price difference, if any. He agreed for the same & asked me to come any time on 8/8/2012. Accordingly I am scheduled to meet him this evening but seeing on his past record I am still not hopeful of an amicable settlement of this issue.
