Maa serial
I am a regular viewer of MAA Serial in Star Jalsa. But the following is making me bored and angry when viewing the same
1. Jhilik and Pratima (Mejo bou) seems to have a fully filled WATER TANK hidden in their eyes from which water continously flows as PC Sorcar's "Water Of India" magic
2. Thousands of advertise in between this half an hour serial which makes duration of actual serial short
3. After advertise, repeating the previous scenes again
4. Story getting enlarged day by day. Sometime Jhilik staying in that Masir house (who have tea shop), sometimes in her actual home and now she will go to another home
5. Boro bou has been thrown out of the screen and we find her nowhere
6. Boro chele and Mejo chele is becoming "MANDAMARA & NAKA" day by day who don't have any own decisions.
7. The other begger childs are good looking, have good health, & wear good quality clothes which does not make them look like beggers
8. Although Jhilik plunged knife in HIRA AMMAS eyes, her eyes seems to be OK
But I love characters of "Maa go maa..." and the teacher - what a personality !!!

Please stop this foolish staff. Its too much boring. Too much unrealistic and illogical. Don't elongate the story in sec of just elongation. Hope the director is also blunt headed and too much pessimistic.

Cnt tolerate dis charecter "FULKI" ne more...watching serials, tv iz a part of entertainment..bt watching serail "MAA" nwadayz becoming boring..nd sply feeling angry..nd plzz make PROTIMA ND PORI be together...enough nw, plz make dem together!!!

All our relatives and friends have stopped viewing 'Maa'. We just couldn't tolerate this rubbish serial any more. Why to block valuable time slot of the channel? Pls immediately stop this horribly boring serial. Why can't there be justified and reasonable turns and twists in a story? A good and attractive story can please maximum viewers, thereby increasing the TRP. There are many such serials where the story is more or less compact and reasonably believable. People like to see some thing which is more or less closely related to daily life in a domestic atmosphere, where our known characters play. Some viewers (specially women viewers) like to watch Saas-Bahu related serials. We don't see any children oriented serial. There may be good crime serials or comedy serials. Pls thing about my suggestions.

ma serial was one of the best serial of star jalsa.bt day by day its getting long n long with de same conclusion coming day after day.de same thing repeating again and again...we req u all. please get sum new stuff in de serial... cum 2 a conclusin .orelse we r getin so bored dat most of our friends hv stopped watching it...

The serial is an utter stupidity since the identification could easily be done by the retired Judge family through a simple DNA test taking a drop of blood from Jhilik. The serial also encouraged superstitions. These days the dragging of the serial is done by telecasting past events. I think the director is unable to write any more stories. I feel pity on the actors and actresses who find these stories very difficult with the hysteric director. The serial should be stopped immediately because of its baseless story line and harmful effects on the society specially on children.

I stop seeing this Serial MAA since 18th July, as I had other important work to do, better programmes to see than to see the baseless, concept less, boring, stupid, illogical, intolerable storyline of MAA. I posted my last comment on 16th July, 2011. Incidentally I skipped Star Jalsa since then.
I had some spare time during Puja Holidays, as at the age of 69, it was difficult for me to roam about & preferred to stay at home. So I decided to open Star Jalsa with an expectation to see some other new serial at 8 PM slot.
I was hit below the belt to see the unlimited continuity of the same trash (MAA Serial) where story line twisted from one end to other end by bringing Heera Amma close to Jhilik & Jhilik, being such an "ostad" forgot all the past misdeeds of Heera & started calling her Maa, a real insult to real mothers. It is difficult to believe, how Jhilik, was earlier protrayed as an intelligent girl, is humiliated by Fulki by her stupid tricks. It is also difficult to undersatand the unusual hatred of Fulki on Jhilik, even when Jhilik was thrown out to street.
But it is the baseless story line, where actors & actresses are helpless.
After seeing the episode today, I rated the different characters as under, with due respect to actors & actresses:
JHILIK : An emotional fool, who has no place in this present world. The character is totally a flop. feel sorry for Tithi, who is otherwise a good child actress. The director is misusing the girl to protray such an illogical stupid role,
MA or MEJOBOU : Inconsistent, whose character is full of contradriction. But to drag the the baseless storyline, what else the director can do?
MEJOCHHELE: (sorry I forgot the name of the character) Has nothing to do except characterising a stupid role.
JUDGE : A spineless character, without any knowledge of recent biological studies, though he is always in the library. The director is fully ignorant of the status & knowledge of a judge, who had to perform on logic. A real insult of judiciary.
WIFE OF JUDGE : A stupid & inconsistent character.
FULKI : Feel sorry for the little girl, who is being cursed by the viewers, for the storyline. But she has nothing to do except making conspiracy against Jhilik wit monotonous facial expressions.
Apart from all above, other actors & actresses are .also trying very hard to portray their characters but all are the victims of trhe circumstances where the brainless directors & storywriters are determined to make it a Giga-serial, breaking all time record of TV industry.without caring their present TRP, which probably has already made an all time record of the lowest point.
One should learn from the serial that a good castline can't make a serial successful, if they work under such horrible directors & story writers, who has no brain, no logic, no idea of present society, no idea of administration, no idea of latest medical science, no idea of basic legal points,
in Bengali, there is a sentence, " GOLPER GORU GACHHE OTHE". For this serial, it should be "GOLPER GORU TAAL GACHHE O OTHE". Chaliye jaan bhai - 2014 te directorer GIGA PRIZE bandha.-K K Basu,

i just hate this serial there is no combination in this serial. such a faltu story.dont u think it is a boring SERIAL i think the director and the writer are psycho and they just doing for money.

This serial Ma started with a good subject. Intially the story had been depicted in an authentic and interesting manner. We are settled at Pune.Being ardent lover of Bengali language and culture we keenly followed the serial for quite some time. Now it has become not only a social evil spreading cruelty and falisehood among children of tender age but also setting a very bad trend of earning money. I request the producer and director to stop exploiting the children by concluding the serial at the earliest(within aweek's time).

'Maa' serial is too much boring now and it is making bad influence on child ...no child can be so bad like Phulki...if may be, still should not show this type of charecter to the children for a long time... Please as soon as possible finish this serial and make all happy...

MY DEAR PRODUCER//KAJRI JI, PLEASE LET YOU PEN DOWN. CONTINUATION MADE `MAA` DISGUSTING & FUN. IT IS A MONOTONOUS SERIAL NOW . PLEASE GIVE IT AN END. THE INNOCENCE OF JHILIK MAKES US LOUGHING NOW AND CAN NOT DRAW OUR EMPATHY WHICH IT DID BEFORE. PLEASE END THIS FOR SAKE OF `MAA`.

These serial producers are really blind. They don't see the huge number of complaints against the 'Maa' serial. The director and script writer are still continuing with their awful production and day by day it is becoming worthless to view. Earlier, I had posted a complaint in consumer forum, but with no effect. It is now time to go to the court of law and file public interest petition to stop this serial. Somebody please help me.

This is a request to Star Jalsa authority to stop this trash like MAA serial, as the producers, directors, story writers appears blind, deaf & shameless as they are still continuing the serial MAA, blocking a prime time inspite of letters with abusive comments from so many viewers against the producers, directors, story writers of the serial..
In fact, I personally as well as my many friends & relatives stopped viewing this serial because of its monotonous, baseless storyline. It appears the contolling authorities of the MAA serial are saddist.
Some of my relatives ask me to see the serial, as they enjoy it as a Comic & Laughter Show. At the beginning Jhilik drew lots of sympthy for her ill fate. But the baseless storyline at present makes her a laughing stock of stupid nature & no body has any sympathy for her.
WE THE WELL WISHERS OF STAR JALSA REQUEST THE AUTHORITY TO SUSPEND THIS SERIAL WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT. - K K Basu

I am fully agree with this comment. I also want to add when a child is legally adopted then he/she can't be thrown out of the house then whole family suffers with legal penalties etc. Here always a child is seen to suffer so much pains that this is creating and psychological tension and stress among audience and specially children ( a girl child).
So I request to the director in case they are reading our comments to finish this serial with happy ending.
