[Resolved] State Bank of India — Debit against non-payment | |
sir, On 24.12.07 at about 9pm I went to an ATM Counter of SBI to withdrawn cash for Rs.2500/-. After entering all require information the transaction processing was complete but payment was not made due to hang of server. Immidiately I contract with customer care the told that your account will not debited. On the next morning I withdrawn cash of Rs.2500/-, but my account was debited Rs.5000/-. Immidiately contact Customercare and they told that the excess debited amount (Rs.2500) will credited to your account automatically with in 24hrs. But unfortunately till date after giving written complain (twice) to the respective branch manager neither any reply was given nor my amount has credited to my account. At the same time another 2 customers are suffering from the smae case. I think this is a major security laps related to ATM. So, kindly look in to the matter. Respectfully I beg to say that on 08.07.09 at 06.58 Hrs. I have taken petrol from Vijay Brothers, Opp. I.C.Office, Court Road, GURGAON, After taken petrol I gave my SBI Debit card for skrecth but at that time skrecthing machine did not accept and shows on skrin call help. Then I made payment in cash. When I check my account by mini statement from ATM and I found that Rs. 1350/- is deducted from my account. Then I went to petrol pump authroties they told me that they did not claim Rs.1350/-
Therefore I request you to see my case and back my Rs. 1350/- which deducted wrongly.

This is T.Narasimha Raju My A/c No: [protected], Actually I went to an Tarnaka Atm on 27-7-09 around 12pm I swiped my card in atm for withdrawal Rs.300/- then I didn’t received a cash but in transaction slip it showed transaction declined. Then came of but on 28-7-09 at 8pm I received a message the Rs.300/- have been deducted from your account.
Can you please confirm about this issue AS SOON AS POSSIBLE I didn’t received any cash from atm so why in my account Rs.300/- has deducted & recredit my amount in my account.

I have my Acc in SBI TVMalai town branch, but my account is in SBI TVMalai main branch.. on Dec 15 2008 i made a withdrawal for 500. But, my acc is been debited with 1000. Though i made a compliant in both branches for TWICE. Still i haven't received my account. All they say is we havent received any complaint from you. SBI is good bank for banking But, this issue make it is the worst bank of all..

Today(10.08.09) arround 7.25pm i went ATM in Adambakkam branch, chennai. i planned to take 10, 000 Rs first, but i didnot get it, then after some tome i tried again and tried to get 20, 000 Rs. I got the amount. but in the balance it shows that i have taken 10, 000+20, 000. Please revert back soon in this issue.

When I went to the bank on 04.07.2009 for filling my pass book I noticed to my surprise that there is debit of Rs 15000/- ( 5000 X 3) from the same card at the same time (copy of the pass book sheet was attached).
I also made enquires at ISKCON, for excess payment to their account but there is only one credit (copy of the sheet was attached with the highlight of the credit)
Therefore It is past more than 40 days since I have brought this to your notice. I except that action will be taken to credit the excess amount of Rs 10000/- back to my above SB account.

I, Nibas Chandra Biswas, a account holder(S.B. A/c No.[protected]) in SBI bank (Hazaribag Br.)with ATM facility and the ATM card no:[protected].
Sir, due to some technical problem in SBI ATM near Habra Branch I went to withdraw Rs.6000.00( Rs. Six thousand only ) from nearest ATM of HDFC Bank at Habra and I tried three times to get money from HDFC counter machine with SBI ATM on 04/07/2009 around 11:00 am but every time computer showed technical problem. After 30 minutes again I went to SBI ATM and took mini-statement for my above mentioned a/c and then, I saw Rs.6000.00 ATM withdrawal but not a single rupee I did not receive from HDFC Bank ATM counter.
Therefore, you are requested to help me to get back Rs.6000.00 from HDFC Bank.
