[Resolved] Tata Aig — non-refund of the cancelled premium | |
I have cancelled an income guard policy IGP[protected]. I was promised by one Mr. Varun Tandon, Head operations, Tata AIG general insurance that the money will be refunded in 7 working days, on 7th Oct. So far I neither have any comunication nor the money is deposited from where it was sourced. It is more that 22 days and still there is no light at the end of tunnel. What I observed is that the agents of Tata-AIG lure the customers with sops and other freebies and behave irresponsibly after the deal is done. I wish that this forum effectively communicates the info so that the offender is informed about the irregularities being committed, knowingly or unknowingly and bring in justice to the effected parties. I have been following up with TATA AIG to reverse the money on my HSBC credit card which has not been done till today (31 Dec. 08) after getting assurance and committments from TATAIG executives.. and moreover, the executives are highly unfriendly and non-cooperative.
This kind of attitude is highly disgraceful and very disappointing for a customer.
I hope these comments reaches to the right person at TATA AIG and corrective measures will be taken on urgent basis.
